Nahm replied to MarkusSweden's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@MarkusSweden Both is fine. When you are fully aware of the illusory situation of reality, it’s clear there is no purpose anywhere in the universe. This illusion is nothing more than something to do, because you’re eternal. Joy will inspire. Life goes quickly, it is better to contemplate joy in your experience, than purpose for others now, than in hindsight. -

@Saumaya Look into dolphins man. They use language, and even refer to each other by name. Samadhi is worth looking into also, if you are looking to experience non thought / stillness of the mind. -

How did you come to know that? -
@Cammy Practices, get centered in the real you which is unchanging to conditions, days, etc. Eat clean, exercise, get clarity. Be willing to become aware of what you don’t want and what you do want, in relation to how you are spending your mon-fri. A change is coming for sure. Don’t judge or beat up on yourself, let your awareness lead.

@Charlotte Sure. Anytime.

@ticaaaa That is weird. I’d keep my options open.

@Saumaya I appreciate the reply. Thanks.

@Saumaya Can I ask, when you mentioned what you want to do in your life (go to college, get a job you prefer vs laborious, etc) and at the same time no will, no control, no discipline (“deceptions” I agree) ...does it seem like there is a paradox resolvable there? One which might be beneficial in resolving?

@Sahil Pandit Have you considered making a list of what you want / want to do, vs what to give up? I’ve found that subtle difference in the thought / perspective aligns inspiration that moves mountains.

@Emne Reality is tough, there’s a lot of challenges, and a lot of worry and stress. I need to get going and get more done and I don’t have the desire or energy to really do what I want to do. How could I know what I should do! This is so hard. Life is hard. My random start in life could have been better. I wish I had more money, and X, and more Y, and more Z. Some times things work out, sometimes they don’t, some days are better than others. I’ll die one day and that’s scary. I don’t even realize people manipulate me. Circumstances are unfair sometimes, often. Vs Holy shit I am the only being which exists, and I am the dreamer / creating an illusion that is “reality”. Everyone is also me / this being, and 99.9999999% of the population has no idea whatsoever about the truth of this situation. I get to live this life? Are you even serious!? This is the most amazing thing possible, better than I could have ever imagined! I don’t need anything to “be happy”, I am Love itself! Everything is Love! People are so manipulated and stressed, and in complete denial and self deception about it, and at the same time they are not even interested in discovering this for themselves. I could never die, I’m not even real or not real, I’m a completely different undefinable outside of reality and unimaginable thing that can’t even justifiably be called a “thing”. I am forever, and all is so freakin well it’s ridiculous. I wake up and cry every morning because the love and beauty is so overwhelming. At least once a day I am literally brought to my knees by the simplest thing revealing the infinite love and perfection of all that I am. I can do anything. I can’t believe I ever thought anything was happening to me - the WHOLE experience is for me! Just some spit ballin, might help. Obviously LP is easier in the second scenario.

@MiracleMan Ya I hear you man. This is a new thing in my life, I’m understanding more each day. I have experienced this, but I don’t think it’s anything I’m doing in a direct sense. I’m starting to think it’s about what I’m not doing, internally. It started around 6 months ago, when I went to see a psychic. We sat down, she was taking some deep breathes, and then she looked up at me very wide eyed and like incredibly sad and just started balling. Like snot hitting the table balling. Uncontrollably. For maybe 10 minutes. I just knew something, but there was no content to it. It was as if I was just supposed to be there, though before hand I thought I was going for me. When she started talking, she talked about how she had not ever realized that she had internalized the traumas of her childhood, feeling ashamed of herself. She said she felt like me when I walked in, felt like how it felt to be me, and that I don’t see shame in people, and it brought 30 some years of her self-shaming into her awareness immediately. It was really interesting and weird. The coolest part was that there were probably only 20 words said between us in around 30 minutes, and somehow I knew that I had known her forever. I’ve felt a kindred spirit thing with people before, but that was the first time I felt forever. I appreciate your conversation. It pulled this out of me in a clearer light. Thanks. To be honest, I didn’t do anything for her or with her, but this big thing just happened.

@Star Net hell yeah to that.

@Ether I don’t now how to offer help with that. I’ve been meeting with people, doing this thing for a few hours, starting with them writing down what they are, and mostly listening while they go through self discovery. It’s been successful. For the most recent person, it was very short and spontaneous, and very beautiful.

@Charlotte It is strong enough. It just takes some time. You’d have to admit, you’re undergoing a significant change in how you think & feel about yourself. I see it from a screen, I’m assuming you do too. @Ether You too my good man. I remember your first posts. You’ve come a long way already. You got honest. That’s f’n Huge man. @sgn This is the place for this. Type it out, you & we can shine the light of awareness on it together. If you figure it’ll take a couple weeks to see progress after ‘getting it all out’, you’ll be happy you did. Takes time. Just my opinion. Suffering is illusionary. Keeping it to one’s self can really grow it. Getting it out opens things up. Lot of people who care here.

@MiracleMan Yes. This is a ‘real’ thing that happens. The obviousness hits them like a tidal wave, and then it’s all laughs and tears for a long while.

I’d ask him who he really is, and I imagine we’d both die laughing.

@D-tron Sounds like thought is not going without a fight. Hang in there. Be a transistor of love. When I was a kid, I had a hallucination thing for a minute. Enormous bugs would crawl in and out of the kitchen cupboards. When I finally said, alright, so I hallucinate apparently, it is what it is - it stopped. Bugs got nothin on love. Hands feel like they ‘blow up’ like balloons? I had that as a kid too. Just wondering. -

@Star Net I eat vegan / raw, almost 2 years now. When I see animals, I love em. I have more energy and no health issues. I don’t take any health ‘correcting’ pills anymore. At the same time, non of the animals are real, and I don’t care what other people do. I love the vareity (of what people do). Also, I haven’t had so much as a cold in the same amount of time. I know it’s all mind, I also know we can simply choose the path of least resistence.

@ticaaaa OMG to be so young again. It’s rough but can be delicious. Keep the center. Keep you as the center. Notice when you are no longer grounded, calm, light / easy goin - that’s when you’ve “moved the center” to her. Meditate, get it back. All the love you could ever need is right inside you. She, is for fun. They’re all just for fun. Stay centered in everything you need you already are and always will be. Enjoy her, and the other girl, and the other girl, infinitty. This particular girl - have fun, leave the rest on the table. She needs to center herself too. She probably sends you pictures to get you interested again because she identifies with her looks. She is probably not aware of how she identifies, and that a lot of what she does is to get attention. She wants love. Who doesn’t. Discover the infinite love in you, and you can give it, all day long, and never feel slighted by anyone.

@Charlotte Posture Meditation This body-based meditation is a very effective way to get grounded and centered. It encourages an embodied, calm, and open awareness, and discourages disassociation. If you have a tendency to "leave your body," feel ungrounded, or disassociated, this is a good practice. Sit with your spine straight and aligned, and the rest of your body relaxed. Keep bringing yourself back to this condition. 1. Take a reposed, seated posture. 2. For this meditation, it is very important that your spine is straight. Your neck and back should be in perfect alignment. Your chin should be down very slightly. 3. If you are sitting in a chair, do not rest your spine against the chair. Sit forward so that your spine is supporting its own weight. Let the muscles of the spine be engaged. 4. All the other muscles of your body can be completely relaxed. Allow your face muscles to let go, and your jaw to drop slightly, so that your teeth are not touching. 5. Let your shoulders hang freely, and let your belly be soft and open. 6. This is the posture you are aiming for, with your spine erect and your body completely relaxed. 7. As you sit, keep bringing your awareness back to the fine details of your posture. Notice any time your spine slumps even slightly, your head leans to either side, or any other deviation. Correct these gently and repeatedly. 8. Also notice if any other areas of your body tense up even slightly. If anything is tensing, relax it in a gently and soft manner. 9. Keep checking in with the body, using your body (somatic) awareness; the feeling in your body. Mental images of your body will probably arise, which is fine, but these are not what you are concentrating upon. Instead, concentrate your awareness in the sense of your body. The sensitivity in your muscles, tissues, viscera, skin, and so forth. 10. The more detailed and minute you get with this awareness, the better. Each tiny area of the body has its own sensitivity to contribute. 11. Every once in a while you can zoom out to cover the entire somatosensory field -- the awareness of your entire body -- to bring the overall body back into alignment. 12. Keep relaxing every muscle everywhere. Use just enough tension to keep your spine erect, but no more. 13. Continue this meditation for at least 10 minutes, continuously contacting your body awareness. CAUTIONS: If you have any spinal injuries or severe back pain, it is fine to allow your spine to rest in a pain-free position. If you find yourself distracted by a lot of mental chatter, you can use verbal labeling as an aid to concentration. For example, when checking on the spine, you can say to yourself, "spine in alignment." When checking on the body, say, "body relaxed." @IvanV21 Do you meditate every morning? Do you carry it through your day? Are you triggered much be the goings on of others? Those are the ‘signs’ imo. If / when you’re good there, take a trip. START SMALL. Slow & steady is best.
