@solr You’re welcome. I know it sucks ass. Hang in there. ❤️

@Dessehead Yeah. Most people get their heart broken. Most people learn it was their own misunderstanding, a belief, that the love they feel comes from another person. The weird thing about a belief, is the holder considers it to be the truth. Therefore, they don’t connect the dots that their belief, is causing their suffering. They appear completely unrelated, until the holder does self inquiry.

@toth7 Start over, rebuild from the ground up. Everyday, exercise, meditate, journal what pours out. Eat clean. That’s it, for 30 days. THEN, if you’re ready, give thought to your life direction You are attached to thoughts. You’re identifying with them. There is no quick fix. Do the practices.
-
@solr This too will pass. You did what you did because that’s where you were. It’s done. It’s serves as any event serves, to know the love that you are more deeply. Reality is fucked up. God does work in mysterious ways. Are you committed to doing your best now? Will you be making such mistakes again? Or have you learned? Take the learning, accept your imperfections, and begin to love yourself again. “You can search throughout the entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere. You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection.” -Buddha You deserve the love Solr. I know it’s fucked up. Life is fucked up. But you deserve love. In Truth, that’s actually your quote. Read it one more time, and this time, see that you wrote it for you, for this moment, now. It would be wise to use it now. Times like these have a tendency to draw a love from the universe that shows you that you can move mountains. Be patient. Keep practicing.

@MarkusSweden There is nothing other than you. -

There is far more than the thought of the death of a thought. (That’s just a thought) The physical death referred to can’t be imagined or believed or understood. To point though, imagine being in front of yourself and watching your body and brain carrying on like normal. Then imagine being the space the universe is taking place in and watching an illusion much like you watch what’s going on in front of you right now. Then expanding to infinite nothingness which everything and nothing is taking place in, ‘within’ you. . The ‘physical’ “you” was left back in a dream, like an ant you passed by years ago without a second thought. It’s “dead” because it was never alive or dead to begin with. -
@Lynnel I exercise & meditate in the morning. I don’t have any stress from the day to let go of. No state to ‘unwind’ if you don’t get wound up.

@Paulo Barbosa Practices. Build a foundation before taking another trip, this allows for the integration. -
@Ibn Sina The actual self is not of the man.

@vanish Right. So when you say you can not be awake in the ‘physical life’, you are incorrect. But I acknowledge, from your experience, this is true for you. It’s just not true for everyone. -

@vanish If it’s meant for discussion, it’s really edgy and interesting. If you’re seriously planning to end your life, then it’s obviously not about enlightenment or awakening, it’s about your life. Obviously your aware you’ll physically die one day anyways. If you realize all is you, you wouldn’t have even made this post to begin with. Who did you think you were posting to? -
Nahm replied to vanish's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@vanish This is how consciousness works, that’s all. What you say is true to you (the claims you’re making) - they’re not true for everyone else. -

Nahm replied to starsofclay's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@starsofclay Yeah for sure, it takes practice. I hope you feel great doing the practices. Feeling the stomach breath helped me a lot when I started. Exploring the breath from entering my nose, through the sinus, throat, lungs, stomach, that helps. -
@Seed I just remember that nobody actually gives a shit what I think or have to say about anything. It’s all experienced through relativity to the other person (s). Takes the “thinking” of “pressure” out if it, and get’s my focus back on enjoying the experience for myself. Focusing on breathing from the stomach helps. Exercising first thing that morning (and every morning) helps burn off the adrenaline and cortisol (the stress cocktail), those chemicals won’t even be there if you tried to get stressed. Not eating any sugar for a day or two helps. When I sing & play guiatar in front of a room full of people, I’m aware I’m actually alone, and that ‘works’ best, might be timely here for you though. It’s just an experience happening. I’m not a big deal. It doesn’t matter if it’s the best I’ve ever played, or if I completely fuck it up. I know this, cause I have completely fucked it up, and guess what happened....nothing. Try to become aware that you’ve attached your ‘life purpose’ size to this. It’s not. It’s one moment at a time, exactly like this moment right now. See, no big deal.

@starsofclay I can’t think and focus on breathing from my stomach at the same time. I can only assume this is true for everyone. 20 minutes a day is great man. ❤️ Thanks for the info on the muse! -
@Abbn How long will it take to surrender the belief that awareness is yours, that there is a seperate being “you”? It’s about that long.

@starsofclay Was thinking about buying that muse for someone having similar challenges to what you described. Overall, I see that ‘it worked’ in that you’re meditating. Awesome, btw.❤️ Anything to shuffle on how useful the device is? Accurate? Anyone else used Muse, or similar devices? Reviews? Thanks!! -
@egoeimai now.

@Ibn Sina ?? In the end, the self actualized man does not exist. Never did. ❤️

@cle103 I find it fascinating. Also, the workers think they need the employer, and the employer thinks she needs the workers. This is good to know. I believe that if 90% of employees asked for a raise, they would get one. Most don’t ask though, because they don’t know the employer needs the employee more than the employee needs the employer.
