@Dino D Have you considered just giving up? Surrendering? It’s one thing to have a lot of responsibilities, and another to be angry and stressed about it. Circumstance & perspective. You can change both. Way easier to change perspective first. Nobody’s supposed to carry stress. That’s the nature of stress. Too-muchness. You can’t over come it, thinking is causing it. Thinking there’s a you which would need to over come and control something is really minimizing. You’d be trying to overcome you, and feeding the fight with thinking at the same time. That’s a lot to be carrying. Just cash out all together on this serious outlook, this grown up role. It’s really not you. It’s the classic ego ransom trap where you have to give up your adult to get your kid back. You need to spend a few days doing whatever it is you like to do. That’s where the swap takes place, the ‘exchange’. Fun is underrated, spiritually speaking. It’s the electricity. I think it’s hard for you to let go because you’re thinking in terms of control. It’s just not helpful to think we’re in control any more than it is to think we aren’t in control. Flowing, feeling connected, seeing many possibilities, feeling creative, just simple joy, that’s kid stuff. Have you ever gone on a Dino sized solo retreat? Reconnect with your feelings and you’ll probably realize more viscerally.

Not everyone has this long term vision & understanding. Share it softly & you can help a lot of people. ❤️

@Dino D I’m not super confident I am understanding you, but if I am, sounds like you are seeing duality in big pieces. This might lead to seeing that it’s all how you’re seeing it. You saw something bad (work, boss, job) then saw that you can appreciate it. The same job suddenly looks different, opposite. An extreme example might be a beggar bothers you and you’re annoyed, vs a beggar triggers a deep love for humanity in you, and a deep appreciation for the life that you have, and you are not annoyed, you love him deeply, and help, just by showing love if nothing else. Am I understanding?

@zoey101 Keep it simple. Sing to sing, for the love and expression. You can write songs too. Stop saying you are someone who can’t or you’ll believe it. Don’t write a song, just take a piece of paper and write one sentence. Write what you want to tell the world. Consider Justin Bieber. Very simple songs. He’s just having fun. He posted some videos of himself singing on YouTube, someone saw them and contacted him (Usher...I think). Justin didn’t need to know anything about production or marketing. There are companies already existing, full of people who’s passion is marketing, recording, production, etc. His breakthrough lyrics were literally “baby...baby...baby”. Doesn’t get much simpler. You love singing. So, just sing loving singing. A singer who sings in love Alone, not even a thought about what anyone thinks, that’s the singer I want to listen to. Also, keep that ill perspective on success, and you’ll stay comfortable in non-success. Bit of a tug of war going on from...thinking.
