  1. @Nadosa Maybe stop talking about awakening...might be feeding into over thinking...just do the practices, and focus on breathing from your stomach 24/7. Thoughts will slow down and eventually stop.
  2. @Timotheus I was suggesting you’d be applauding for all the actors, those that played the good roles and the bad roles...when the play is over, there never were good or bad actors....just characters playing the roles.
  3. @KMB4222 You were ‘let in right from the start’, you’ve never had to believe anything anyone has said. @Timotheus Imagine right now you’re applauding at the end of a play. All the actors taking their bow.
  4. @Feel Good There is as much of a point in tying your shoes as saving the world.
  5. @MrDmitriiV Have you ever tried reiki?
  6. @metwinn Ya. You’re on the right track, keep rockin. Follow it through to what are all beliefs? What is validity, really?
  7. @zoey101 You’re adorable. You’ll be fine. Self discovery is an awesome adventure. ❤️
  8. “Wave function” points at reality (You) from within a scientific vernacular and paradigm , particles are dream stuff (you). The only way ‘around’ nonduality is self deception (pretending there is something other than You). Doesn’t matter if it’s a “lofty” topic like QM, or something as simple as a drop of rain. The observer, the observed, measurement, ‘collapse’, etc, all dream stuff. When seen in it’s entirety, the illusion is just light. The benefit of seeing you exist as pure potentiality........whatever you want to be. Freedom from the conditioning of believing in the appearance of consistent “reality”. Shocking freedom. The brain doesn’t like this because it’s purpose is to hide this very fact by assigning meaning. Put another way, the role of the brain is not to solve the observer “problem”, but to hide the Truth, that there is no problem. If there’s no meaning, there’s no problem, if there’s no problem there’s no story. No meaning assigned = total freedom. Everything you could want to do is the same when you let all meaning go. Because in truth it doesn’t matter in the most literal sense what you are doing right now. It traces back to the concept of identity, which is all falsity. If I want to be nice, there’s meaning. If I want to be smart, there’s meaning. But there is no such thing as identity, because there is no such thing as something else to identify you. You can think you know more about what you are, and you’ll know less about what you’re doing in this life. You can focus more on what you want to be doing with this life, but because in that you’ll be changing (in a mental appearance / idea of self sense), you’ll paradoxically know less about yourself while discovering more about yourself. Until there is only self. The pure potentiality of you. The wisest person I’ve met once said, “It’s nonsense”.
  9. @Mount Bananas It’s funny because it doesn’t actually make any difference for you wether anyone approves of (validates) what you’re doing. It just simply doesn’t make a bit of difference. It’s ok to laugh about it. You’re gonna do what you’re gonna do anyways. It doesn’t matter. Lighten up. ❤️
  10. @Tistepiste LMAO! That’s awesome.
  11. @Tistepiste I hear that. Me neither.
  12. @Tistepiste @Feel Good I appreciate what you guys are sayin. It could be the nature of communicating online, and how diverse the subjects are on the forum. Sometimes I notice the Self Actualized section, labeled as the ‘main section’, has far less activity than the Enlightenment section. It’s like there’s a channel that someone needs to be learning from, but there’s this other channel that’s just far more interesting. This is just human nature I guess.
  13. @zoey101 Therapy can be helpful. Overall, though, of course you can get yourself back to good. You just don’t realize yet how you have caused your “problems”.
  14. @Viking Great plan! Lots of great things will unfold! (Get up at 7am tomorrow. You might be tired all day, but that’s good, you’ll fall asleep by 11)
  15. @zoey101 Take a piece of paper, write out, in a line from left to right, like a time line; any notable events, personal developments, milestones in your life that have contributed to who you are today. Continue that into what you want for the rest of your life. Write everything that comes to mind, everything you want; what you want to have, what you want to be, what you want to do. Then be honest, and draw an arrow and write “You are here” in the accurate appropriate place. Your life is a story, and this exercise can help you see that. The power of what you’ve made it through, and who you are because of it, is the power that can take you confidently to the ending you really want. The joy, the adventure, will be in the experience that you’ll simultaneously need to out smart the clever ‘fox’ you’ve created (ego), and realize the humility of knowing nothing (Zoey101). You’ll have to deconstruct and start at the basis.
  16. @mohdanas Method sounds ok. Beating up on yourself won’t help anything.
  17. @Leo-Tzu I like to think they would help him awaken.
  18. @Leo-Tzu The implication is nonduality, but I don’t think he or Joe see this.
  19. @Chriztian What do you mean “enlightened”?
  20. @zoey101 Become aware of and understand what it is you’ll be letting go of; all beliefs, all conditioning, the entirety of the idea of what you are, what the world is, what life is, what “physical” is. Begin where you are. What do I believe and why do I believe it? Why do I impose limitations on myself and what I am capable of? How did I acquire self doubt? How did I learn that? How did I learn to fear uncertainty? How, when, in what way did I invite fear? Why did I believe anything anyone told me? What is even the usage of a belief? Do beliefs free me or limit me? What am I getting out of continuing to hold these limitations about myself, my capabilities, my potential, my future? I am asking you for your answers to these questions. (In actuality, you are asking these questions of yourself.)
  21. @zoey101 Yes I understand. It’s as if even though you have ‘moved on’, something has carried through the transition of ‘moving on’. “Waking up” can be a misleading term because it can imply adding & becoming, when in actuality it’s a process of deconstruction, of letting everything go to find out what Nothing is.
  22. I’m asking for clarification...this seems to imply you are advocating the physical abuse of children ( “a good beating”). Are you?
  23. This is a really significant post. In general, imo, a lot of people (forum wise) are ignoring the pyramid and trying to “be” Turqoise / Nondual / Enlightened, and it is causing a lot of unneeded stress and confusion. Living in your parents house and making arguments for your own ‘having awakened’ when you have yet to attain financial & emotional self reliance, for example. So there is a grosse lack of appreciation & humility in many cases, which detrimentally stunts personal growth by means of frustration. Or to put it simple, it’s like someone pretending they’re a millionaire online for so long that they never actually developed themselves by becoming a millionaire - or a sage, or enlightened, etc. Or someone pretending they are self actualized for so long they never accomplish holding down a job by being able to communicate and work with others effectively. Shadow work, imo, is the most underutilized & under-appreciated work. As if everyone just figures they can skip it. I suppose that’s an inherent challenge of the nature of ego. Or in the biggest picture, it’s like not doing much for yourself, your life, your happiness, because you’re “already” self actualized, having negated all the things you want in life by nullifying, but in actuality having fooled yourself. I wonder if this is an offset of having access to people who are self actualized..?
  24. @Igor82 That’s really broad but an example might be having a good understanding of psychology, neurology, biology, quantum mechanics, thermodynamics, nonduality, Christianity, Islam....so there’s a moment on a trip where you realize how it is an illusion, and how people (ego wise) are creating their own versions, how science was only ever people describing things. Then it sticks because it is suddenly the only obvious possibility. And kinda BAM, you remember what you are.
