Nahm replied to Nondescript's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Nondescript Welcome to the forum. You’re at the right place. Lots of people here sharing very similar experience, trying to make sense of things, and helping each other out. I relate a lot with what you shared. Specifically the ‘inconsistent reality’ of electronics. I agree with you, there is a higher power, and I suggest it is showing you the possibilities of tuning into the subtleties in ‘everyday reality’. In my experience, there is infinite intelligence, infinite love, at play. This infinity appears as objects, people, etc - everyday stuff. But it is not everyday stuff, it is a miracle. Sounds like you were fortunate enough to experience a big phat dose of this. We’re all a little jelly. ? Perhaps what you experienced, is at the least, on the fringe of nonduality, or maybe, a strong inclination of it. That will probably be confusing af for a bit, but ultimately, it is the most worthwhile discovery, and relationship possible. There is an ‘impression of me as an individual’ which gets purged, or purified, as the delusion of this begins to be noticed, and eventually realized. Doubts & fears will be triggered, because none of them are true, nor were they ever true. Love is true, you are true, all is well - is actually true. The brain’s gonna try to hang on to perspectives to the contrary of this. As it does, use everything at your disposal, meditation, exercise, videos by nonduality teachers, clean eating, and be as open and honest as you can - make use of the forum. As you’re continuing to wake up, careful with what you share with people who are deluded with duality, they will think you are crazy. You are certainly not crazy. This is going to lead to things so wonderful, that you can’t even imagine right now, and most people, unfortunately, will never relate or investigate for themselves. The forum is a fine community for sharing these things. Don’t suppress or ignore, share. Give Jim Carrey a search on Youtube. He’s done some ‘fractal outbursts’, etc, and it might be comforting to see someone else going through the phases of waking up. It’s not happening ‘in your head’, you are not psychotic, there is most definitly God ☺️. A book or two, and some videos on nonduality will reveal to you much peace. Meditation also. That is why this is happening. Because you’re ready, and you can handle it. You’re waking up, to the adventure of a lifetime, follow that tease, those breadcrumbs of bliss. All is well. It’s supposed to be fun - but that will always be up to you. This kinda sums of life nicely, doesn’t it?..... “physical manifestations along with mystical experience” -

@Robert Welcome back to the magic man. Keep an eye for me, when I forget. ?? We’re also in this mindfuck of a paradox together. -
@Ingit Something works - breathing from your stomach. You got sucked into your thoughts again, sucked into ‘fast forward’. It’s ok. Every moment is another opportunity to breathe from your stomach and relax, and return to “play”. You’re going to help a lot of people, in their worst time. You will change lives, and save lives. What you’re doing matters, but not if you don’t relax, enjoy the moment, and feel good about yourself. Can you see you the way I see you? Determined, strong, focused, aligned with a purpose much bigger than yourself. That is compassion. Tons. God bless you for the trials you are going through to serve the greater good. Could be me you save one, for all we know. ?? Watch that junk food to my man. Clean up the diet, one day at a time.

Nahm replied to Avidya's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Avidya Consider the difference between “it’s not me who creates it”, so I need discipline and conscious effort to achieve a flow, I need to learn a proper skill set because it’s hard...vs...I am the all that is, a creator, doing what I do, creating. Developing & honing skills is the funnest thing. All there is, is creation. All there is, is truth. All there is, is fun. Writing “don’t forget laundry detergent” on a post it note, and writing your next ‘best’ song have the same meaninglessness. The point, is your experience of it. It all turns to dust down the road, but you are eternal, that is the actuality of freedom you play in - that there is no down the road, there is only now. -

Nahm replied to Recursoinominado's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Recursoinominado Ya sound like a toy boat in an ocean storm, not listening and suffering. Have you considered the body’s sensations are a signal? As if it’s saying - you can look at this like that, but it’s not going to feel good, because it’s not true. Just 20 minutes of meditation a day is a game changer. It’s grounding, centering, calming, slows things down. Twice a day, forget about it! - completely right back on track, and a calm spacious mind is ideal for contemplation too. To drive home the magnitude of the difference it can make, take a second to review your post, and assess how much past story and future worry you shat onto your now. It’s there, and it’s peaceful. And shat on. Be hands on in understanding the root of the arising fear sensations. Look at what triggers the sensations, and see if the triggers tie back to an experience in your past, which said “reality is real and serious”. Maybe a suppressed memory/emotion is triggered, reinforcing fear and identifying with the body, in the sense you could be hurt or harmed like someone you loved was, or like you were, again. If so, that tug of war of fear-identifying with the body, & raising awareness overall, is unnecessary suffering. You are the truth, so all you’ll ever have to work with, in terms of saying or doing, will be ‘full of shit’. You can laugh about it anytime. And you will never find peace, the big punchline is, you are the peace. -

@kieranperez Sensation arises, thought tricks us, stay with the sensation, see what it is. Don’t believe the thought, and settle for it, or you are tricked again. Notice where love is - ever experienced it anywhere, but in yourself? No. (See how sneaky thought is?) Seeing Yourself With Love Practicing Seeing Yourself with Love can help shift your perspective to see the good qualities within you that others see every day. Through this practice, you can begin to reclaim and embrace the good that you have overlooked, and see how lovable you really are. Imagine seeing yourself and good qualities through the eyes of someone who loves you. Then, come back to your own perspective and notice how it feels to possess these qualities. Long Version · Choose someone in your life who truly loves you. o If you have trouble thinking of someone, try choosing a person that you knew previously or briefly who made you feel “seen” and accepted. Or, try choosing a pet. · Now, imagine you and this person sitting across from each other beholding one another. · Begin to see yourself through this person’s eyes, focusing on the good qualities he or she sees in you, and this person’s love for you. · Ask yourself, “Why does this person love me? What does he/she see?” · Go slowly with this exercise until you can really see and feel what this person sees and feels for you. · When you are ready, come back to yourself and notice how it feels to possess these good qualities. · Really take in the good of this experience, savoring the love, worthiness, and good that exist within you. · If you wish, write down these good qualities and read them daily to remind yourself of them. This method was adapted from a practice created by James Baraz in his book Awakening Joy. Don’t you see we are saying the same? Coral is not in duality of identity silly head. When have you ever experienced verbalizing such things as “them being closed minded”, without soon discovering nonduality again? Who are them, Robert? -
@Sven What led to asking? Just curious and wasting your time? What’s your answer?
-
@Rachityczny It’s beautiful. You can do anything you truly put your mind to. Nice ass. Really nice.

@kieranperez How should it be?

“ Stop. Talking. “ & “I think it'd be a cool idea to use the socratic method, in other words, never introduce any concept or any belief or anything by yourself, but just ask questions, with the only instruction being that he should only focus on his direct experience” @beaucoup Nice. This works. It’s very common for someone to resort to anything not to stay to their own direct experience.

An understanding of nonduality is not nonduality, it’s a filter on duality, resulting in confusion. An idea of infinity, or death, is not infinity, or, “death”. Help people understand the self imposed nature of suffering, consciousness is not an identity in dualism, it’s all there is.
