  1. @Finland3286 The intention is “not that”, the difficulty is being aware of the mind wondering, but stay with “not that”. Yes, it’s a thought, neti neti.
  2. @SoonHei Contemplation is a generally a type of meditation,, and the difference answers your question. https://sites.google.com/site/psychospiritualtools/Home/meditation-practices https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PineU9ZZvSc
  3. @FrgttnDeer Yeah. It’s almost as if not having direct access to other minds is intentional.
  4. @Sven Life & death, physical & nonphysical, are interdependent plays. Death holds our attention inherently, but it’s our birth that’s worth the inquiry.
  5. @Wisebaxter Thanks, it’s all you man. ❤️
  6. Become the whisper. Accept all sensation. No turning away, no avoiding; do not overt the eye. Blessed is he in balance, he is the whisper, he can help others discover the whisper. But that is an impossible challenge. Insurmountable adversity. Impossible. Only a fool would accept such an intolerable path.
  7. @luckieluuke Consider (in addition to what’s already been said here) looking at your life, for a minute, rather than the spiritual path, in this manor: Blessed is he with heart attack, he must listen. Blessed is he with OCD, thinking is intolerable, he must listen. Blessed is he who holds anger, the sensation is unbearable, he must listen. Lost is he without catalyst, without adversity, without sufficient challenge; he knows not about listening, he does not know his own sensations speak truth, he remains unaware of the whisper.
  8. Square it in life by not asking why it isn’t a circle. Or why it is a circle. Embrace paradox.
  9. @Your place at Heart Resonating with you man. I’m my own little experiment too.
  10. The serial killer already is God, but doesn’t know it (possibly but unlikely), and by killing him, you liberated him, absolutely, while the ‘innocent’ guy remains fiddling in his ignorance. Then contemplate what this big circle jerk would be without you in it, relatively speaking, and what you would realize, if you weren’t “in” it.
  11. @Consilience Great attitude & perspective for enlightenment work imo.
  12. @MM1988 Thinking about posture.........................................................................Awareness, of posture.
  13. Every one of us is perfect and exactly how we should be. Divine perfection. There is meditation for letting go of thoughts, improving concentration, finding peace in the breath. There are wonderful things we can explore & learn. Mind blowing experiences to be had. Bottomless love we can discover together, and within ourselves. But you, the real you, is none of those things, needs no thing, no one. The real you is infinitely perfect. Always has been, always will be. This is the greatest discovery.
  14. @SoonHei It’d be sweet to invent ‘emboss goggles’ you could wear outside.
  15. @MM1988 Thinking.....................................................................................................................................................................................Awareness.
  16. @SoonHei Excellent. The embossing analogy is delightful, leveling it all to one unified ‘substance’, so to speak. Great post.
  17. @Tistepiste You could be the first person to ever answer this question, by skipping the reactional defense of semantical linguistics, and actually answering. What will you do, after you become enlightened? You won’t though. Contemplate, why that is.
  18. If Love’s infinite, omnipresent, then thinking won’t do. You’d have to become directly aware of it. You’d have to go within, like a drop seeing ocean. Excellent name btw!
