@Shin It only seems like you read that. -

Then why call it Christ Consciousness? You have then already veiled your self. -

Anything you know is illusory, knowing is illusion, including that there is a you which knows this. Otherwise, there is no illusion. But that statement, and the thought you are having about it, are illusionary. Meaning is illusory. Life is illusory. Death is illusory. Nonexistence is illusory. Existence is illusory. Illusion is illusory. That there is no illusion is illusory. Freedom is illusory. Bondage is illusory. Knowing is illusory. Not knowing is illusory. Being is illusory. Non-being is illusory. A word is illusory. God is illusory. -

Just imagine if your mindset was of all the wonderful experiences that are coming to you. You’d have laughed at that lady and she’d have winked and laughed with you. -

@corndjorn Have you experienced both? -
@LordFall Seems like your frustration is with the relationship, but it’s with your attachment to something to be happy. It’s because you think you need it that you’re frustrated. When you get the frustration, inquire into the I that is frustrated, you will see that each time you do this the suffering will disappear quicker. Paradoxically, when you don’t need it to be happy (genuinely, not spitefully), she’ll be quite attracted. She might then become more aware of the inconsistency of her own happiness. If she does some work on it, she might discover connections like self worth or body image issues, and the low sex drive. Also, don’t overlook the simplicity of talking to eachother about it and expressing your emotions. Emotional suppression and blockage is a sex drive killer for woman that men often find it hard to relate to and understand - but if you do there’s a lot of growth in it for you.

@Manjushri Make an appointment & go see your dr. Do what they suggest as far as therapy etc. Take any help available to you.

Very little if any relativity. Enlightenment / awakening experiences help some with addiction, and others not at all. The simple commitment and follow through with daily practices is imo the most effective tool. In truth though, they’re purged when you say they are.

@Average Investor Be safe and enjoy. Make tea if you go with the shrooms. Start with small amounts either way. It’s hard to say which would be better to do first, the trip or the retreat. Both are a great continuance to your journey either way. -
@Inliytened1 When science grasps the ungraspable truth it’ll just be some dude by himself laughing, and happy.

Consider getting daily meditation to an hour each morning for a month or two, then going to the retreat center, and then consider psychedelics from that vantage point. Be careful sleeping in the car! Good luck with your journeys. -
If there were something else then you could know something about it.

@Jack River Is this where we start making our videos about how the other guy is starting a cult? Jk. ♥️ -

@Jack River Not wanting to answer those questions apparently, or you’re thinking you did which could imply some fragmentation. I don’t want to assume though. -

@Jack River You didn’t actually answer in your responses, but I appreciate it and have a much better idea where you’re coming from. Thanks. -

Right. But this, and the other questions were about the life you, awareness, is ‘living’. Do you, awareness, make any decisions, is essentially what I’m wondering. Like getting gainful employment, etc, or do you, awareness, “live” via someone else financially supporting you? This is a question about Jack, you, The One. Not so much about “psychological becoming”, etc, etc. Sometimes “what is” is used to avoid one’s own psychology & responsibilities, and not face what is. -
Nahm replied to EvilAngel's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Jack River Thanks for the input, I appreciate it. I’m probably jumping ahead, but I think this goes into desire, want vs need, objective vs subjective, and even infinite intelligence vs self/brain desires, and if I’m not mistaken we don’t see that the same. I’m not assuming, so correct me if I’m wrong, but you’ve expressed desire is of the ego, or (small s) self. But a decent case could be made that when desires of the self are met, experienced, known, and then naturally transcended, a foundation within is built, which enables one to fulfill desire of deeper unification through helping others. So a small decision, and wether it is understood / accepted / viewed as a want or need, is a piece of a bigger thing. And perhaps the fashion in which one goes about helping others is impacted by the desire path, or the nondesire path. I think this is also true for many occasions of sacrifice of one’s self desires, on a path of discovery of the greater desire. In the same sense, in the biggest picture, I would say Nothingness is without desire, so desire must be of the individual. But at the same time, a case could be made that nothingness has desire, because it is you and I, doing whatever we’re doing. So perhaps a notion of unconditional desire arises...? (Sorry, I believe I strayed quite a bit from the original convo. Not to mention, hacked yet another thread.) ? @EvilAngel (sorry) -
If you ask the answer is always yes. (Sorry) Because there is a “layer” which answers all questions. (I’m taking your question / this post, as a much bigger question, which is being sort of snuck in as a comparison between meditation & self inquiry. I am reading into your phrasing of “just observe it. If I’m wrong there, just ignore this post)

@Jack River Yes, right. Sometimes it’s interesting to go deeper, and I deduce your interest level by not answer what I asked about, and I respect you’re not wanting to go there. -
Nahm replied to EvilAngel's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Jack River It’s not confusing. No need to answer my questions though, was just curious. Thanks! -

What “original question” did I ask about resistance or confusion? Is there choice outside of “the psychological realm”? I mean, if someone is capable of supporting themself, but is being supported by someone else, that current situation would be what is, and they are not acting. Would they not consider the person involved who is supporting them? Would this be delusion, or rather failure to act? Or are you saying it is as simple as only when you “need” to act, you act? (Like borderline starvation, or perhaps when the the other person loses their income) but does this not put the need to act, and therefore the act, contingent on time? How do you arrive at “if I need to support myself”? Isn’t that a given, at maturity / when one is capable of supporting one’s self, one does? -
Nahm replied to EvilAngel's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Jack River The options themselves are not opposing nor confusing. How did this go for you? It sounds like maybe you didn’t think about it, or consider any options (a job, self employment, freelance online, etc), but rather one day you just spontaneously moved out and were self supportive?
