Is there any worth in “learning” from books, while you’re avoiding sensations which are fueling overthinking? The book is icing on the cake. For fun. What is needed to be understood will not be found in a book. The book serves to inspire you, motivate you, maybe convince you even - to accept yourself, to “learn” about yourself. Nothing is hidden, no book is needed.

You are suffering - then saying you ‘forget to journal’. If you are hungry, you eat - there is no problem. You do not say you “forget” to eat, and then ask people why you are hungry.

“My anxiety is getting stronger.” = “It’s getting harder and harder to keep avoiding”.

@Serotoninluv I love your perspective on that also, but, I don’t think she’s seeing levels, realms, rules, will, or pain, I think she’s seeing the suffering of a real being who’s lost the way, because he doesn’t know he’s creating his own reality. When I would compare her to other teachers, I would always wonder, why is she just pretending there’s no ego there?! What gives!? What is this going straight to the sensations & creating thing?! This chick is crazy!

@mandyjw I was just imagining a world where the average woman was a foot taller me, had a deeper subconsciously more authoritative voice than me, was twice as angry twice as often and twice as strong as me, and made more money than me. I was picturing a female president known for openly emasculating men by grabbing their genitalia & humiliating them in front of their peers. Then I was thinking, what if I lived in a world where all men knew war was wrong & vile - but the bigger, stronger, authoritatively positioned women kept on killing men & children, and building bombs that could kill every man on earth a hundred times over. Everything would make sense in this imaginary world if God was referred to as She, “The Mother, The Daughter, and The Holy Spirit”, etc, and the messiahs, prophets and influential spiritual gurus were 99% woman? Could you even imagine?!

That sounds boring. The suffering is the deception. “My mind” is the deception. You’re suffering aloof while the greatest adventure is afoot. Can you discover who you really are? Or are you “just living life”? What is is, and every nuance of the contextualization is up to you. You’ve been behind it all along. Every last letter. And the self deception vid’s get deep down in there, seize the moment, take advantage, jettison appropriately. Pen & paper.

@Leo Gura Absolutely! Lol. They’re so clever, they outsmart themselves - they never do what you say, but are always doing what you do. I have a close friend who literally can’t be comfortable in a room with kids. Full on panic attacks, from toddlers, within 10 minutes. His dad was like that too. My other buddy lays on the floor and starts playing toys with them before acknowledging me when he comes over. It’s like visiting someone with a dog, with bacon in your pocket. The kids do what he does too.

@SQAAD You sure? Sounds like you’re saying there’s an I which could hate a myself. That’s two selfs. The tongue can’t taste, (or hate in this case), itself. That’s ridiculous.
