@Matt8800 100% agree. I think there is a ‘missing link’ which you didn’t mention there, and it is the one which appears to be causing the issue of one not getting from meditation, to the place of knowing the inner guru. I say appears to because this ‘link’ is initially misunderstood.

@Matt8800 You’re reading me like a book. Gonna push it even a little itsy bit farther....what if, in meditation, thoughts arise, suggesting other practices, other people, psychedelics, yoga’s, psychologists, maybe traveling to high energy vortexes, etc, etc, arise? Would the course still be to ‘stay true’ to the meditation?

@Matt8800 Thanks. In your estimate, does meditation “work”? To the degree that if one says it does not work, it is actually working, they’re just not aware that it is working...and so they quit.. ? Whereas, had they not quit, and embraced what arises (emotions), they would experience the very breakthrough they have mistakenly moved onto another way of seeking.

Not in righteous anger or in judgement, but, in love . Without love, we are nothing. Love is patient, love is kind, it is not jealous, it does not boast, it is not proud. It keeps no record of wrongs. It rejoices with the truth. It bares all things, it believes all things, it hopes all things, it endures all things. When everything else disappears - faith, hope & love remain. But the greatest of these, is love.

@Dodo Well, if you’re asking, it’s conceptual. That’s a thought, which just materialized. Trade creating thoughts, for creating the life you want. There are hundreds of millions of virgins. Just do the work, you’ll see them. You might not even think so small of females, with ample self exploration. You might find that bliss, is better than sex. The pleasures of sex are made of this. A reduction, a limitation for creation, of what you could be feeling all day everyday. Radical honesty is the Way. Let it all out, on paper. Good luck. Make sure you’re taking full advantage of all resources available to you in terms of well being.

@lostmedstudent Great story and glad you’re ok! Imagine if you had died. But then everything was the same. It’d be impossible.

@Simon Håkansson Your key is self honesty. An unwillingness of genuine emotional expression is feeding the overthinking. Start writing about your feelings on paper. Draw pictures, write a story, etc. Also psychedelics can reveal truths bigger than where you’re at in general, adding zest to your path, and reducing some monkey mind by connecting you more with emotions, and answering some of what fuels the thinking at the conceptual level.
