What is different while you’re sleeping, and therefore there is no suffering while sleeping? Are you aware of fear? Are you aware of fear while you are sleeping?
-
@Shaun So what’s to be done to realize the awareness, and end the suffering? How is it the suffering is perpetuated?
-
@Shaun Which one is suffering?
-
@Shaun Can you take a minute here, and describe each of the two of you?

@Soul-lover 2020 What is the difference between a belief, and the truth? -
@Shaun Look at that I you keep referring to. Are you two?

@Soul-lover 2020 Please take a minute to review the forum guidelines regarding religion & dogma, etc. Thanks. https://www.actualized.org/forum/guidelines/ -

It’s certainly not theoretical. -

@Soul-lover 2020 No word is true. You’re missing what his words point to, by projecting. You’ll see, in the apocalypse. -

@sausagehead If you see a coffee table, a coffee table is not self aware. A -coffee table-, is a thought. Two words, their meanings, together, just a thought. Take away your words - coffee table - and now look at it. Ask “what is that ?” Take your words “my awareness” and throw them out too. Now look at it and again ask “what is that!?” Then take aware the word “that”, and be present with the coffee table. Make all of your being vulnerable and exposed to it. Sense that there is a very deep and ineffable connection present. -

@GroovyGuru Address the fear regardless of the trip. Write down what happens, how it feels, etc on paper. Retrace it. Solve it like a mystery. A few ways to begin seeing how it is you can change your state of mind... Write down a statement about your current state ...”I’m experiencing fear about taking psychedelics”....and identify as best you can, the sensation...”anxiety / rushy”. Then write down a sensation you’d like to be experiencing....”joy”. Then rewrite the first statement how you would see it if you were feeling joy. (Peace...love...) You can also zoom out, think about how it’s one thing, on one day. Life is much bigger. It will come and go like anything else. Just be present for all the experiences, some will be great, some difficult. When you’re old & grey, I bet you’ll be glad if you embraced the entirety of experiences in your life. A shroom trip might last a few hours, but it’s just a few hours. Not that big of a deal. That can help calm the nerves. After relaxing, choose the approach to “zoom in” next with. First say to your self lightly, I’m choosing confidence and desire for new experiences here, and then “zoom in” and have a look. Also, a quick “shaking the energy out”, like a wet dog sort of, and seeing you got caught up again, and it’s also silly. Use whatever resources are available too. Music, book marked pages that resonated, going for a walk, etc. Let it go completely...then approach a preferred vision. Almost any brisk body movements, even facial expressions can help change your state as well. -

@Serotoninluv lol. Maybe buy a guitar, and learn the chords to play your favorite song...learn some singing basics. ? I’d go Adam Sandler mindlessness is what I’m sayin. Sero-sized well being & fun. You’ve been on some hell-a-deep-retreats. I’m bankin on the other side of that coin. Bashar would call it a ‘permission slip to live freely’. I’m kind of placing a bet I guess, that it’s the right ‘key’ for certain insights. The catch is you wouldn’t know if you’ll ‘lose what you have so far’ in Sandlerville. -

@Serotoninluv I’d get up early, exercise, meditate, get a massage, reiki, and then do whatever the hell I felt like for the rest of the days. Seriously. That’s the approach I’m suggesting. -

@Serotoninluv I don’t know if the mind words wise would really fade. I suppose so, but we’d never know. ? ...suggestion wise...Something foreign, at the ‘initially disregarded’ level, or something light? ? -

Not talking for even a few days can be cathartic. It’s great for purging & purification. If that’s not possible soon, try a word count each day. Great for attention on our inattentions. Also purging. Sharing & feeling deeper and new connections with people is just as important. ...on the body note....notice too...you have never directly experienced the actuality of breathing. Only the veil - “exchange of gases”, “keeps me alive”, which somebody “figured out”. The knowing of what it is, is like duct tape covering just enough of the actuality, that it is entirely unknown. -

@Inliytened1 ? You weren’t coming on strong...just meant there is a process, it takes time. We shouldn’t have an expectation that perspectives, paths, etc, should be the same any given day. I hear ya on Serotonin. I believe he will pull off The Full Mooji trifecta one day soon. -
@Angelo John Gage Great share man. You are courageous and beautiful. ??

@Inliytened1 The dualities you’re using as references are thoughts. Let them go. Let all ideas go. Maybe it’s helpful to say, you don’t bring two together into one, there is one, and you inspect your thoughts which suggest there were ever two. There is awareness of twoness, ego. There is no attachment to it and it’s shenanigans. And there is knowing there never was an ego. Yes, you will likely spend the rest of your life walking around laughing about not walking around or laughing. This reminds me of the “don’t ever fake a smile” post, but all-encompassing. Sit and do nothing for as many days as you are willing and some serious shit will barf out of you. Love is always purifying, how much resistance, how deep to inspect avoidance, etc, that is an apparent variable. As not to “argue”, we won’t ‘be on the same page’ with this today. That’s is perfect and all is well. Also, asking, wondering, inquiring, sizing up other’s awakening / enlightenment is not the right avenue. It reinforces a delusion of a type of progress, hierarchy, status, etc (that kind of vibe /belief) when in Truth, you and only you can awaken / be enlightened. I could tell you anything, and it would still filter through your interpretation, so what does it matter? It does not behoove you or me. Further, once “enlightened”, there is no such thing as “enlightenment”. You won’t be able to see it, though you’d swear you must have thought it was something before (logically). So that apparent paradox, via communication, would only add confusion. Try to allow that not making sense, and accept that it isn’t rational or sensical. At the end of the day, every system, be it thinking or ‘otherwise’, is within the infinite magic. -
@kindayellow There’s no right or wrong, whatever you want is whatever you want. I have over 30 cousins on one side of the family. Some hang out regularly, some (me too) at holidays, some live out of state and rarely come to town for the holidays even. It’s up to you. ?

@Soulbass Try reiki, and google foods that inflame the joints. I started noticing knee and ankle issues from repeated minimal impacts in my 30’s, and switched to an elliptical. No issues ever since, been maybe 6 years.

@ZZZZ Great post. So true. I lost around 60 pounds with cardio and weights over a couple years and sure enough ended up with lower back problems. After chiropractic, shots into both side of the lower back multiple times for sciatic pain, taking pain killers, etc, for years - the simple resolve was adding a lower back exercise to the routine. Never had an issue since. It’s been years. I use a foam neck roller too, everyday. Thanks for taking the time to post the info. It’s so hard to really hear the importance of posture until we have an issue.

See this in direct experience now... Are you aware? Do you know you are aware? Find the beginning and ending of awareness. Are you aware of thoughts? Are you aware of separate individual linear thoughts arising - do you see the finite nature of each appearing thought? Now, think awareness. Do you see, in your direct experience, that infinity is a fact? (Your very own same awareness, without beginning or ending) Do you also see, in your direct experience, that what is finite (thoughts) can only come and go? Do you see that you are aware of thoughts, and that you can not think infinity? You have never moved, you never left anywhere or went anywhere. You have always been safe, and nothing can ever harm you, or even tarnish you in any way. You are perfect, formless, absolute, and pure beyond what two hemispheres can ever imagine. It is always safe to let go and enjoy the movie. -

@Inliytened1 That “idea of you” is never unchanging to begin with. It is always in passing. Only believed to be permanent can it appear to be permanent. Consider replacing the word ‘death’ with the word ‘God’, or maybe ‘superposition’. Even if it goes against the belief grain so to speak, over time it will lessen duality of form and formless. Ultimately though man, it is an infinite free fall. Groundlessly grounded. There is no where you can go where Love is not, where Truth is not. Because in Truth, you never move. You are aware of all which appears to be movement. But it is one. Magic. You. If you stare a rock long enough, it will literally disappear. “If you stare into the abyss long enough, it look back.” - If you Self inquire long enough, the idea of you disappears. Notice the idea of you changing, even as we have this conversation. Welcome reinterpretation. Welcome creativity and non-locality. Welcome potentiality and limitlessness. Welcome uncertainty. -

@Inliytened1 If you still see in the duality of ‘alive & death’, then no, you are not awakened. And, no concept exists as an actuality. Only as a concept. Notice how easy it is to slip into thinking / twoness. It is because you are Truth, that no thought could ever be True. Finite appears within infinite. Finite can not encapsulate infinity. “IT” can not be thought. It is aware of thought (appearance). Is the finger the hand? Is the hand the finger? Can the finger point to itself? It is because you are Truth, that all you experience is Truth. Notice what the hands are doing. Notice you are not giving micro-commands, not controlling them at all. Notice you are controlling them. They are typing what you are thinking. Two hands, two hemispheres. Twoness. One is aware of this twoness. One is Magic.
