  1. @Elisabeth The 25 yr old, yes. The other foodholes are 7 & 9.
  2. One must experience for one’s self, for sure, but I think you’re downplaying the impact such vulnerability and intimacy has on viewers. The blog trip vids are a new ground imo, an unprecedented exposure. The sillier it looks to someone, the more they sense there is so much more to this experience. It may not awaken a viewer (and it might), but I imagine it becomes very hard to deny that there is Awakening when one is confronted with such a willingness and devotion. Not to mention all the nondual assholes like me just resonating & balling like freakin babies.
  3. @Cody_Atzori For what it’s worth, I’m 44. My oldest is 25. Get the life purpose course. Don’t wait. Now. Careful, your thought about what it is, is a thought. The experience of it, is the experience of it. Only one of those matter.
  4. Just had another context (‘time’) for this and thought I’d mention it.... A case could be made that what (ideally) psychedelics reveal, is there is only the Self (Actual Reality), pretending / dreaming a self & physical reality. That there has never been a thing called “the past”, sans a thought / veil of the fact of Actual Reality. In remembering a thought, there is an assumption at play, that there is an actual past in which what is thought / remembered, actually happened, and if the past is thought to be actual, even via a single memory, then now is influenced (“covered” / “veiled”) by illusion (taking an arising thought now, with implication of “past”, as actuality, or proof of, a past). Without that assumption, with only now, the “past” will actually convincingly appear to conform to support / align with, the now / creation/creating/spontaneously. (The “past” would “change”, but we wouldn't notice) This would mean there is no actual “sober up and enter back into the dualistic mindset”. That actual thought - the content it implies - would have to be believed, for that to be experienced as such. Most simply put, if “the path” is one of construction, recall memories, and add them to now. If “the path” is one of deconstruction, let every thought (memories are now thoughts) go. As far as “memory is a great example of how theory and practice can come together”...this would mean it actually is a veil, with the implication it is not a veil. (“Veil” being relative to not recognizing the self in all).
  5. There’s no such thing as everyday life. Ground yourself in the fact this is a dream. This is not reality. You are reality. So in fact, literally speaking, there is no such thing as grounding.
  6. Recreating it, over and over and over and over and over. As useful as a post about what one wants to forget, and otherwise already would have. LOA.
  7. This, is this, with thoughts of not wanting this. It’s yours, but not if you let it go.
  8. @lukej Again, beautiful. Thanks! So true. The awakened one in this house is 7.
  9. @Inliytened1 First, I love you. Second, you did what you just described in your misunderstanding (conflation crusade) of what I said. This is one of the infinite reasons I love you.
  10. @Neorez Convince me there’s an I, and then we can judge it.
  11. ♥️ Willingness to be attentive to past, future, and self referential thought stories, and seeing this in others as well, becomes self knowledge / understanding / recognition / compassion, instead of reaction (to “another”). In understanding, there is no self and other, but the knowing of ‘now’. (Now / Actuality, being “exited” via past, future, self, thought story)
  12. You are not sitting on a beach at all. That’s ridiculous.
  13. @mandyjw The quote isn’t real. The joy in the laughter is. Do you see what I am not saying? (Op)
  14. “If we globally organized a particular day, in which every human being on this earth stopped what they were doing, and held the hand of another, forming a perfect circle around the equator of the earth, the majority of us would drown.” -Osho
  15. @Shaun If I might be blunt, you’ve been going about practicing in a manor which is actually exacerbating your suffering. Meditate first thing in the morning for 30 mins, and again in the afternoon for 30 mins. Keep your spine straight, adjust as needed for balance, and focus on breathing from your stomach, while relaxing / sending the “let go” signal to every muscle, from the top of your head, to your toes. Patiently wait with each muscle until you actually feel the ‘release’. Thoughts arise, keep returning your attention to breathing from your stomach. More thoughts are not what you need currently. You are already attached and identifying with them. You need space, and the realization, the direct “experience of” awareness. Then, as the space, as the emptiness, as awareness...contemplate the “things of the world”, and begin to recognize yourself in them. But first, discover the actuality of the self to be recognized. I will be so bold and obnoxious as to further say that anything outside of this, is procrastination fueled by the very thoughts which can be let go of. You will arrive here when you are willing. My hope for you, is that it is today, not decades from now.
  16. Great willingness. Try to be as literal and critical as possible in answering these. Think as slowly as possible. Try to spot assumptions, collective agreements or “givens”, beliefs, projections. How do you know “I experienced” ? How do you know there is an “ I “, which is “experiencing”, and that this happened in a past? How do you know the words read are from an outside source? What / who makes words “mine”, what / who makes words “yours”? How do you know there is an “ I “ which “hears”? How do you know there is “internally”? How do you know “an then”? How do you know a causation transpired? How do you know one thing happened and then another? How do you know an image popped up “from” a stop sign? How do you know a stop sign exists, rather than just the image in mind? Where is the image now? Where is the stop sign now? Are you seeing a stop sign? How do you know you have ever seen a “stop sign”? Are you actually seeing that a stop sign is red and white? How do you know “red”? How do you know “white”? How is the knowing of any of this, actually separate from the things which are known? Do you know the knowing of seeing? Do you know that there is seeing, or only the knowing? Do you know the things which are seen?
