@Paul92 The division, threatening people, and creating debate, is one’s own creation, one’s own doing in perception. Word’s, often the word “it”, is used like a shelf we put the responsibility of examining direct experience on. As in, “not me...it”. Examining the “it” is examining one’s own perspective, a big step closer to Truth, and a huge step in the ‘elimination’ of suffering, specifically anger and triggers. The frustration about “talking about it“ is actually a thought story about talking about “it” (something not me), and a sensation saying “this view is not True” (because “it”, is you, and “it” is love). In misunderstanding the sensation, the sensation gets labeled “anger”. The non-sense (Thought story & misunderstood sensation) gets reinforced. In believing in this falseness, from misunderstanding, the anger & frustration are experience (created) over & over again. Essentially, this hands the helm over to an “it”, and that does not feel good because it is not actually possible / true. “It’s” a denial of Self. “It” doesn’t resonate, because you are truth. When “it” is realized to be a thought, the triggering is no longer possible / created. A chat sound great. Traveling a lot lately, hit me up mid week.

@Paul92 You kind of repeated the same thing. I mean, literally tell me how you know his direct experience is that he is ‘an understander’...and you would have your answer.

If there was an “it” causing division, threatening people, and creating debate in my life, I’d definitely see what “it” actually is.

@assx95 Meditation is the way. You’re believing you are a separate self, the one in the thought story. You can’t be anything you think, because you’re aware of the thoughts. Awareness. When those thoughts don’t feel good, it’s because they’re not true, yet you’re believing them, and identifying with them. That it doesn’t feel good tells you that you are so much more, so much bigger and better, than any thought could imply. Meditation will help you slow down the cycle of thought-about-self-arises-and-is-believed. When you say “the ego’s identification with my facial looks....” You’ve already fragmented yourself , and are shifting the responsibility to an ‘ego’, and already identified with what is seen.

@Wisebaxter Infinite intelligence, spontaneous creation unbound, appearing as wisebaxter & the world....so....the appearance will appear the only way it could...finite intelligence, chosen creations, appearing bound. In the same fashion, what is eternal and appears to itself, while unknowing of, or, in unrecognition of self...there appears to be “time”. Infinity...unrecognized, appears as ‘being in space’. Infinite love appears as a limited ‘product of’, etc, etc.

Conscious stomach breathing meditation allows thoughts to pass, emptying the mind. Then self inquire, and in a similar fashion, let all thoughts pass, until there is the unmistakable arising feeling & knowing. Thoughts are like clouds blocking the clear sky, yet within the clear sky. Don’t make a goal of stopping or being without thoughts. Just consciously breathe from your stomach, and the sky will clear all on it’s own.

Something else is missing, and reveals something about yourself.

It’s because the perspective is false as it’s rooted in objective materialism. You are reality, you are not physical and ‘in’ reality. What you can experience has zero to do with any ‘proof’ in what is seen and heard / what people say and do. Asking from falsity, all answers are unsatisfying. One can not satisfy a thought story, satisfaction is sensation. Thought separated from sensation is unsatisfying non-sense.

No, opposite direction. (Not implying there’s anything wrong with that.) Basically I’m not talking about people and stories, rather making the plea not to wait, but to see.

Siddhis aren’t ‘higher states’, it’s what mind does naturally when calmed for the duration (transpires in no-mind / “not-individual-mind”). Your thought story, and that there is a sensation to be tapped into. You can go to Reiki classes and see for yourself that we are capable of healing ourselves. These thought stories function preventatively relative to doing that. Make that jump.

@Rilles If you pay critical attention to direct experience, to only what you know to be True, you will find you are aware of “other people’s” thoughts, and “other people” is just a thought.

@GreenWoods There is a tendency to ‘claim’ the understanding or knowing of higher truths with psychedelics. Nothing “wrong” with that, but the shaktipat is a blissful not-knowing-ness, so the timing of the two might not be ideal as one might not have awareness to their barriers of knowing. I’d suggest finding someone who can offer the shaktipat as well as assist you in unwinding the things you know.

you said no self is reality but nonduality/mahasamadhi arent. Is that because they are names for a particular idea whereas no self is just the absence of the viel self gives to everything it sees? @moon777light See this Bill Nye style...Light a match or a lighter next to a wall. Look at the wall, and tell me what’s missing. Now look at your hand - what’s missing? Then, contemplate... who is contemplating? What then, is, “contemplation”? (If this sounds ridiculous, go through all of the siddhis, until samadhi, and discard them all in non-attachment, non-identification) I’d recommend the four noble truths, and the eightfold path. 5 or so miles into a run, notice the true effortlessness, notice there’s no you doing a damn thing, was always the case. Sing, Alone, no one is there. Lose the self in the one pointed concentration of playing an instrument. Many more of course, every way is no way.

You are directly aware of thoughts. Therefore it is not possible that you could be one of, or any of, the thoughts. Because you are already the awareness of the thought. Every thought about yourself is a gift, which reminds you, you are awareness. Aware of, the thoughts. You’ll find no limit to awareness, no edge, no separation, no beginning nor ending - only thoughts about - which you are aware of. You are infinite, and you can do anything - you can even believe you are limited. But it won’t feel good, because it’s non-sense - you’d have to ignore sensations to carry such a belief, because your sensations tell you this is not true. That’s why it feels bad to believe all this nonsense about yourself/God.
