  1. @Paul92 It’s a bit like you’re saying “having run a marathon”... wasn’t as good as you figured it would be....never having run a 5k. You have an idea of what it feels like to have employed the discipline of training & diet control, increased your run each day, learned how to rejuvenate muscles so you can keep going, overcome the mental barriers to realize that second, third, fourth wind, etc. You have an idea of what having run a marathon is, and as long as you confuse your idea for the actuality, you suffer in your claims of having run a marathon. It doesn’t feel good because it’s not true. No need to blame the marathon, that only feels worse. You don’t have to suffer, you can admit you have not awakened, you have not had an enlightening experience, you have not implemented daily disciplines, and all the way back to when this started, you can honestly admit to yourself you never actually knew what you were talking about. I say this knowing the relief in honesty & transparency, the letting go & relaxation of “I don’t know”, the liberation of authenticity. You could run the marathon and see what it’s actually like. Until then, can you see that you are speculating, worrying yourself sick defending an idea? Have you noticed the tendency for others in that idea boat to commiserate? I believe you 100% that the joy is found in helping people, appreciating their uniqueness, etc - so why would you be spreading worry, doubt & fear? To the best of my estimation, you don’t think you are, because you believe your idea so intimately, you’ve identified with it and therefore feel the need to defend and validate it. Perhaps that is what does not resonate, does not feel good? Perhaps it is the absolute very best of you, which we all share. Maybe discovering more of your awesomeness, and sharing that, is a recipe for an even deeper joy as you recognize it in all of us. Ultimately, you are happiness, you are peace, you are love. Let the thinking & conceptualizing go, practice, so that you may feel Truth. Align with the entirety of you, via honesty & authenticity, and sticking with the actuality of direct experience. How can you be the Light, yet reduce us, something so amazing & beautiful, to “robots”, and expect that to feel good? It will never work. Surrender all that. Master letting go. Not conceptualizing.
  2. @8Ball Nice. And have you yourself ever experienced, being two?
  3. @Freakrik That man created his own suffering, from attachment to thoughts & believing he is a separate physical self. There is not a physical hell, as in place, or realm, you could “go to”. That man told you about this from the place of self denial & suffering, and an incredibly selfish egoic desire to cause you to suffer as well. Essentially, he’s a fool and if you listen to him, you join his foolery. Notice you are fearing something you heard about, not something you’ve experienced. It’s your own thought you’re believing.
  4. What don’t you want in your life? What do you want want in your life? If you don’t want life to be mundane, why do you insist that it is? You’re driving yourself nuts going outward into conceptual false beliefs about yourself & reality...instead of going inward and reconnecting to the loving, beautiful, peaceful, intelligent, permanent self you actually are. Everything you blame for your suffering is the opposite of the truth about yourself. You know it’s not true, because it feels terrible. Who treated you this way? Who led you to believe you are not enough? What was their life situation? Do you see they saw themselves this way, and convinced you to see yourself that way also? What We’re they afraid of? Vulnerability? Independence? Hard work? Failure? Disappointing someone? What are you so afraid of?
  5. I’m not actually an old lady.
  6. @Serotoninluv Heck ya. It’s such a slippery slope, even “my mind”, is like holding the back door of the night club “The Mine” open, and in walk the acts...The Conditions, The Others... Then “The Suffering” takes the stage, and suddenly outta nowhere yet right under the nose - cowbell guy stands up from the seat right next to ya and it’s like....ahhhhhh son of a bitch! I held the damn door open again! How’d I do that again exactly? And cowbell guy’s like........”like this!” (melts your face with horrible cowbell solo). He nods to your hands, you look down, and there’s a beer in one and a cigarette in the other and you’re like AAWWW COME ON?!?! What the hell!? I don’t even recall deciding to go to this club.
  7. Awakening is a ‘self remembering’.....”prior to” the awakening was ‘self forgetting’. There is typically then an effort of trying to ‘remember the remembering’, an intention & effort to prolong the honeymoon, followed by an effortless forgetting of the remembering. The ‘higher self’ is creating the ‘lower self’ effortlessly, because in actuality there is no higher & lower self, only via thought, sensory & perception implications. This distinction is the difference between karma and not. What is has karma, what is not does not. The effort itself recreates a self, an unseen process of re-forgetting.
  8. @How to be wise If what is is negative for you, a “war”, you’re wrong, and you “win” by letting it go. What is is never known, the knowing is what can be surrendered. What is is spontaneous, dynamic, fluid, creation, inseparable from what you are creating. If what is is fixed, it’s your concept. Great for the trek from suffering to acceptance - and then discarded, les it becomes the scapegoat of what can be.
  9. @Aakash The thoughts, decisions, analyzing, experiencing, seeing, hearing, assessing, scrutinizing, understanding, realizing, awakening and enlightenment - are Everything. The “other”, not-thing, Nothing, is meditation. Give Everything back and get Nothing. Then bring Nothing into your Everything.
  10. @28 cm unbuffed Google / Amazon self esteem, abandonment, how to truly forgive, etc, look at reviews. The point is there is no philosophical point. A secondary point is - you do it. You’re free to think of these things any which way you want. Some sensations will arise, don’t resist them, embrace, explore, cry like a baby - let it out, let the healing in. The past is passed man, sans you recreating it. The misunderstanding of sensations perpetuates that recreation. You’re thinking the way you feel about it is because of what happened, what’s needed is the discovery you feel this way because of how you’re looking at yourself. Your sensations are saying “you’re way better than that” - you’re quite sensational.
  11. @Matt23 Owning it, is noticing it’s your own chosen point of view. Then be done with it, and chose a better perspective. One that actually feels good.
  12. She did it from a place of Love. You are not “there”, you are here, now. You are grand central station, and the thoughts leave you like trains. You can hop on one, sure. If it gets a bit crazy, notice, you were never really on a train (it’s just a thought story about a “you” and a “past” - notice this, and realize you are right here, grand central station, ya never left. The LOVE is through, ‘behind’, ‘prior to’ - your own sensations. That is the path you are on, regardless of the thought stories you entertain. Sensations arise, and you keep linking them to a thought story (“you” & the past)...while the sensations are telling you, the way you are choosing to look at things, which is causing resentment, abandonment, etc,etc - is not true. You are here now. That is true. Keep going to thought stories, and you keep suffering. Seek some quality counseling if need be, read some books, if need be. Meditate, slow the attachment down - you don’t need to believe thoughts, ever. You are a creator. Not a regretter, not a resenter. That will never feel good. Dad was doing his best - he ignored his sensations too. Mom is doing her best, living in non-sense. What about you though? Same? Doubt it. You can create.
  13. What if we were all having this conversation in a room, and after so much deliberation we actually came to a democratic conclusion, a consensus, all the while not knowing there is a button outside the room which removes the floor, so the room can be filled, and emptied again, and again. At some point, that button should be addressed, no? Probably best if we just don’t talk about it. Nice room.
  14. @Aakash I don’t know how sneaky I am, a no-chance-level-sneakyness. So infinitely sneaky indeed, got words like “infinite”, and “sneaky” to pull the wool. Sometimes I understand that there is no understanding while I’m referring to the understanding there was never an understanding, and pretending someone is there understanding the reference that there is no such thing as understanding. An eye roll and a psshhh to “Sneaky”.
  15. No, we can’t, we’re that web you weaved, but you can. Godspeed, “Charlotte”.
