I’d say you’re in luck.... As you want this for how you’d feel. And this feels far, far, far better, and is already the actuality. -

@krockerman What would you say is the perfect life? Can you describe it a little? -
Nahm replied to Schahin's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Schahin You’re crushing one perspective. Daily meditation awakens the second one. Then the paradoxes collapse like dualities. You’re familiar with collapsing thought dualities...think of the second perspective as the one which collapses meta- dualities, paradigms & paradox. The second perspective is like a ghost in a way, if you can’t see it, it’s the same as it not being there. -
It’s experiential so you’d have to try it and see, but writing the question, “what do I really want” on a large dry erase board and writing everything that comes to mind can change everything. There’s a good chance things will come up which you might not have thought of previously. Being able to see it visually brings clarity, ease, and understanding of what’s going on emotionally, which the mind doesn’t readily have clarity to decipher within itself, so to speak. Honest expression of desire is like a light on ‘what’s stopping us’. This can “pull more of you out of you” and there is tremendous healing in the process both bodily and psychologically. The synchronicities which present themselves in this endeavor are delightful, rewarding, and revealing. In allowing what is wanted to come, in choosing a better, more aligned thought, one is on the path to realizing effortlessness. A deeper connection with sensations comes about, a new meaning and purpose in sensation, if you will. The universe itself begins to experienced quite differently. Of course, write anything ‘going on with you’ on the board too, so you can have a look at it. This does make the understanding much, much easier. It also pairs nicely into contemplation, and the development of an inner world connection which is very helpful in terms of guidance through your new adventures.

@Mason Riggle Nice. Scrutinize, with respect to your inquiry regarding the self, the distinction between what is a sense / sensation, and what is a thought. The ‘answer’ is there. -

Meditation’s working great. Don’t quit and don’t skip days. You’re unknowingly living life as two, because there is a sizable suppression. Scrutinize your post for self referential thinking. That’s a lot to carry, and you don’t have to anymore. You can start putting it down. -
@Commodent Definitely daily morning meditation.

@Michael569 Great work man. @Commodent Just the two cents...if you work out and don’t do lifting with a neck brace / weight, tension will go there naturally. Examine your posture too, see if your default is shoulders slanted forward, neck and head slanted forward. Move your shoulder back and see if it feels better to your neck. If it does, be mindful of that posture. If it’s severe, try a chiropractor. And...how about expressing and understanding that chronic tension. ??

Yes keep contemplating. Negative psychology is created in avoidance of sensations, defensively, protectively. The word negative is used, literally, defining that, it does not feel good, is not wanted. The sensations are what was determined to be what “is not wanted”. This can be countered by repetition of positive psychology. Relatively speaking, this is the thing to do. However, positive psychology is efforting, and the efforting is not sustainable, and is sooner or later intuitively recognized to be self limiting, and ultimately unsatisfying. Thus there is the return to sensation, to the guidance that it always was. In this journey, one faces the fact that they avoided the sensations to begin with. Having done so, many misunderstandings of self and world were created and repeated. To realize sensation was always Truth, was always guiding, is to realize, essentially, all the thinking was wrong. The journey of negative thinking, to positive thinking, sooner or later becomes the adventure into one’s self, the journey into no thinking, no mind. The art of letting go, the divinity of surrender. The “drug addict trying to get back to a previous high” brings about the idea of faith. The attempts to return to the heightened states are ultimately tiring and fleeting. In Truth there is no state which could feel better than you, free of attachment to states. That period of your life was, imo, incredibly valuable. You could say it is a sort of right of passage, a ticket into this place. The very means of realization that you, as is, and life, as is, is the greatest high. What is negative & positive is dualistic, twoness. You however, are The One. There are many impulses to avoid surrender. You are the sneakiest human being which has ever walked this earth. Do not attempt to outsmart yourself, you will only prolong the suffering and delay the purification. See what sensation is, see what fear is. You will be very glad. Be careful not to utilize contemplation os more thinking. Basic meditation, letting thoughts go, detaching, might be more intune with where you’re at in getting intune. The wonderful feelings that arise in doing so will far outweigh the previous “highs” you mentioned. That vibration is great for contemplation. To “extract” wisdom from source, it is ideal, necessary even, to be in vibrational proximity of source.

@SriBhagwanYogi Awesome! -
@matthew7 If you want to undo specific axioms, dualities, ask short, specific questions. Dispel of paragraphs of all too subtle intentions of being understood. Ask questions in brevity, in seeking to understand.

@Key Elements I think I hear what you’re saying but I’m not entirely sure.... It all just looks very different to me. I think his intention was clear, and his focus on helping sincere seekers along the path was clear as well. I don’t think he was interested in ‘genuinely realizing who’s awakening is deeper’. I don’t think he was interested in the ox pics, as much as he was in helping sincere seekers. I don’t think he was interested in your concept of life purpose, and seemed to be kind of, selflessly living his, in part by helping anyone he could, for free, with his free time, on this forum. It’s a very understandable difference of opinion, but Imo between his book, his site, and volunteering his time, he’s walking the walk of the Truth just fine. I’d even go so far as to say I recognize the source behind it, within him, very clearly. I think his comments where about the ox pics though, not about you. I don’t see where he dismissed or criticized you, but I can understand & respect if you feel that way. I would guess, he just wasn’t interested in what may have to him, appeared to amount to an awakening contest, which amounts to a waste of time for him. If my hunch is right, he’s got some respectable integrity - imo. I don’t know though, and I’m really not trying to speak for him. I also think sometimes, we cling to teachings, like the ox pics, life purpose, or even love itself, and in our clinging, we end up claiming, and potentially miss that other teachers are aware of Truth, but use an approach they feel is more conducive to those who have been mistreated, and asserted upon very unfairly in matters of love, and find love to add confusion to the path rather than aid in it. Some might have the foresight that love’s to come, in it’s own divine time, if you will. I am obviously a love drunk fool, so perhaps it’s easier to appreciate the variety, in terms of the intention behind different teaching styles. I also employ the Ralston / Winterknight approach with some of the people I meet with, in awareness of this sensitivity. Also, admittedly, I should have went with ‘don’t winterize me’. So obvious in hindsight.
