@machiavelli Jesus said “I and the father are one”, but the context of this thread disregards that, and is of Jesus as an “individual” who may or may not have possessed ‘powers’. Connect the dots of ‘ego’ and ‘demonic’ and possession. Think of possession as monkey mind, an impulsive & compulsive obsession with claiming & attributing, to ‘individuals’. It is in that miscontextualizing that the point of walking on water, turning water into wine, and healing miracles is being missed. Think of his point as us, not a me, or a you. Then let the ‘us’ go too. Think of the current state of the world as the current state of your creation which you are being. That is the current ‘state’ of you, not people and a world. Consider when ‘we’ say ‘move mountain’ the mountain indeed will be moved, is about the sharing of the truth, the message, or, the power of all of us, and never ‘one (separate) of us’. It’s not about having super powers or healing powers as an individual. Only then is there the experience of Siddhis. Then they are as ‘normal’ as water, and far more incredible than any literal walking on it. Notice ‘reality is consistent’ is a thought. Also, ‘reality is not consistent’ is a thought. Allow these thoughts to cancel out the meaning of ‘each other’. Then there is ‘reality’. There is not a ‘not reality’, just like there is not a not you, as awareness, or consciousness. There isn’t a ‘not awareness’, nor a ‘not consciousness’. ‘Reality’, as you, appears consistent, but is not bound by consistency, or any other thought label. It is only by thought attachment that there is thought to be a reality and a you, but ‘you and the father are one’. ‘The second coming’ is the realization of that which never left. -

‘Time’ and ‘motion’ are thoughts which people gave meaning to describing experience, to communicate about ‘It’, and you learned the words and meanings, and they became beliefs. The belief is that the thoughts label actual individual separate ‘things’. They’re for communication, they don’t literally label anything because ‘thing’ is another belief (in the sense the thought & meaning “thing” = a separation). Then add to that believing of thoughts as labels for individual things... ‘my’, which adds that one is an individual separate ‘thing’. ‘My’ is just another thought. Point to a ‘my’ in seeing, hearing, or feeling and it becomes clearer it’s a thought. Notice there is no actual separation between the space of the room you’re in, the outdoors, and outer space. Look up outside and see there is no actual end. Then consider this space which is without separation in your direct experience, is appearing as all the ‘stuff’...the space is “the stuff”. Then notice “space” is also a thought which is a belief, as a label, for a “separate thing”... as in ‘you’ and also ‘space’. Then notice “I” is a thought, and consider what there is of “you” that is seen and heard is that “space” appearing as that “stuff”, and that there is not anything seen or heard of you which is not seen or heard by you. What you are not aware of is only the thought that there is that which you are not aware of. “This moment” is a thought, which to believe meaning for requires assuming there is a “that moment”, but you never experience a ‘that moment’...which peels away any meaning of the term “this moment”. You experience a ‘now’... but the only experience of a past or future, is of the thought about. So now is not other than the past or future - it’s just other than the thought - ‘now’. Without a past or future there is no meaning for ‘now’... and the present, is really presence. What you are aware of, is not separate from the awareness. Whenever a separation is “found”, notice, it’s another thought arising, being believed. Replace the word / label “space”, with “awareness”. Then notice even the word awareness is a thought, a label, to communicate, as in point to, that which is present, or, that which is presence, or simply - that which Is. The common way is to think more, to ‘figure out’, to conceptualize... another ‘way’ is to peel away, to see through layers by inspecting direct experience. -

@Akos Absolutely. -
@bunna It’s the belief. You’ve defined your self as not wanting to feel, and you’re believing and feeling the discord, of that belief. The resistance you’re feeling is that the belief is not true. When you hold the belief “feeling will have to be faced”, you hold a belief which is directly in discord with feeling because it simply isn’t true. If you retrace the concept that feeling is anything less than good, you arrive at how someone made you feel. If you continue, clarity shines through revealing how you made you feel. We’re all dumb & innocent, it’s not just you. And we can all feel and focus on better feeling thoughts too, not just you. They, whoever they is, could have, but they didn’t. What say you now ? I am ________. That’s our real super power. Be mindful what you put in that blank. The emotional scale is effective for intimately revealing you can’t skip contentment. Letting go and relaxing isn’t the thought about letting go and relaxing. If you don’t know relaxation, you don’t really notice resistance, even while you feel it.

Nondual means not two. A substrate and something else would be two. Meditation. -

@CBDinfused Love you! Answering isn’t as fun as drawing out the answer. Just a preference. Deeply practical ‘thing’ I’m pointing to btw. Consider all ideas in regard to what is desired in life experience. Then think of that idea as a seed. Then think of letting it go as planting it, so ‘that which is the universe’ can be it. The idea becomes ‘the hand full of beans’. What you really want is the ‘real thing’, the experiencing of your idea ‘in the flesh’, ‘in the phsyical’. Another potentially helpful way of pointing, is to say focusing on the thoughts and ideas is 50% of experience, very literally letting an idea go, to the point you cannot even remember it, is the other 50%. Perhaps another way of saying it is once you’re aware of the idea all the ‘work’ is done, the universe is already underway being it. Continuing to hold it in thought is to continue thinking a how. If there is a how, this would be most efficient. If there is no how, this is most inefficient, and one would not notice this, unless one let’s go of ideas. Fair warning though, the muggles (holders) will say you’re crazy, and that most of what you say is nonsense...they’ll attribute it to luck & coincidence (causation) by projecting it onto you (duality) but you will ‘look at’ your life, your creation, and smile. Only love could make sense of quantum entanglement, and the ‘gravity’ of ‘it’. -

When contemplation is letting all the ideas go, the answer sought can then arise, aka “empty your cup”. -
Nahm replied to machiavelli's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
You. Reorienting away from concepts & beliefs, and toward inspecting what is true and actual. That belief. ⬆️ To put concepts before direct experience is to suffer. To see what is true is to liberate of the suffering. -

@EmptyVase Genius. Thank you sir.

@EmptyVase Much appreciated! ?? Learning and getting a feel and scope as I go... seems like the way to go is a longer video with an overview, and very short follow ups with ‘bring it home’ or ‘dot connecting’ single points might be most helpful.

I think that is the case for everything you mentioned. If you didn’t desire it, you wouldn’t be focusing on it. Exploring and understanding emotion, specifically jealousy, stands to set your passion free. Jealousy is an initial interpretation of emotion which reveals itself to be desire to create and experience things you see others creating & experiencing. If you feel a lack of direction, this understanding will fill you with direction. Jealousy is very good, and there is much clarity in acknowledging it, and much inspiration in understanding & expressing it. Making a dreamboard stands to uncover your general and unique passions you desire to focus on and create. If you haven’t, I’d also really consider taking Leo’s life purpose course. There is really nothing in need of ‘fixing’. Anything whatsoever which could be said to be ‘the point’, would be a reference to experience. If you allow it to be that simple, ‘the point’ is revealed - your experience. Whatever you’re focusing on, you’re experiencing, and you’re free to focus on what you want.

If the genuine interest is looking cool, just roll with that. ‘Get your fill of it’ so to speak, do what you like to look cool. Later, that interest might evolve into an intuitive curiosity of what that ‘me’ is, and what that experience of ‘looking cool’ actually is. Imo you’re rather ineffably amazingly cool already, but it’s not my opinion that matters. Science is inspecting, seeing what a thing is. Approach spirituality scientifically, rather than philosophically. Inspect the actuality of the very ‘background’. In direct experience now, what is that? -
@fopylo I don’t have to mention it. Things are thoughts, thoughts are things. When you check for the presence of sensation and recognize there is none, that it is not there so to speak, let me know.

A cautionary word...conclusion is just one more thought. It seems otherwise, because the content implies a summarization, which is also just another word / thought. These readings are the pointing finger, next one must see the moon pointed to, the actuality, for lack of nondual words... the direct experience for, as, of, oneself. Physical body, like all other words / thoughts, labels perception, but does not actually equate to separation, objects, things, etc. There is another saying, ‘empty your cup’. This is also a pointing, to which the moon must be directly experienced... or, that “cup” is a word / thought, and is not a separate object in perception. No one has ever actually experienced a cup. A temporary glimpse, is a temporary glimpse. Temporary glimpse of enlightenment is a misnomer. The term nonduality can only point. Achieving enlightenment is also a misnomer. This is not possible. A finite thing can not reach or achieve an infinite state, just as infinite can not know finite. Body, death, nature, consequences, etc... these are thoughts believed, beliefs - that there are things - not actually separate things or events. The realization of this makes perfect sense, in that sense does not point to logic such as conclusions, or any other thoughts, but to sensation. Dimensional jargon is a priori to m and string theory. Dimension is often regarded as exceptional, or, true, as in not-theory. It is though. It is a limit of the observing mind so to speak. Direct experience is a priori to the theory of dimensions and the observing mind as well. That the matrix is false is a belief, like illusion. Only direct experience reveals the actuality. The matrix can not be conceived, because matrix is also a concept, a thought. Like all thoughts, it has meaning, so long as you continue assigning meaning. Notice if you don’t, no one else does. If it seems otherwise, scrutinize direct experience more. After decades of eternity, I suggest making a dreamboard to be the most integrative approach. This is a direct experience, thinking about making a dreamboard but not directly experiencing it, would be like mistaking the thought of sex, for the direct experience. There is really neither living nor perceptive illusion. The illusion is of thoughts, or, thought attachment, and is that of a “separate self”. So long as there are things, one is believing one is a thing (thought attachment) One already does not have to fake acting like anything. People resonate with authenticity, as that is a paramount desire for everybody. The universe is attraction based. The term ‘survival of the fittest’ and it’s collective misinterpretation comes to mind. The first recognition would be that you are believing the meanings and implications of thoughts, rather than recognizing they are thoughts, and that they are not feeling or perception. (Though of course feeling & perception are words / thoughts, which only point) Analogously, thoughts are like the words on the pages of a book. You can get lost & engrossed in a book. You can also notice, it’s a book, not the story one is lost in. Meditation is the way. Maybe start with eating meditation, as diet is the first order of business, which I would frame as alignment with well being. If you haven’t already, recontextualize food as a distant second to experiencing, like gasoline for a car. Try the loophole shake. It has all the stuff that resonates best with well being, tastes like a chocolate peanut butter banana shake, and costs less than any other diet (“loophole”). That it is raw food & enzymes alone is a game changer if you’ve not been eating those. I’d read the books The Nature of Consciousness, Ask & It Is Given, Loving What Is, The Power Of Now. Beyond creating a dreamboard, some time, a diet of well being and daily meditation practice, emotional suppression is going to come up and out of the body mind. Understanding emotions & not being attached to narratives of thought are the difference between dark nights, dissociation, depersonalization, etc... and sadness, followed by gut wrenching sorrow, followed by incredible releases and much dispelling of conditioning & beliefs, and an arising of a most incredible good feeling. Godspeed on your path. ?? -
@EmptyVase Video’s on YouTube

Yes. Awesome, thanks! Thanks! Should be uploaded soon. YouTube processing takes a while.

Mostly yes, and some examples would be ego, that thing which is aware, identification, relative perspective, absolute perspective. These are conceptual. As concept/communication it is helpful, but as new beliefs it is not. If you were trying to open a lock box safe, and someone told you the 4 digit combination, you’d then turn to the safe and forget or disregard the combination. Though no, in regard to perception. There’s no work to do on perception. It’s perfect as it is. It is hilarious. That’d be a sweet show! Thank you ?. Emailed it but I don’t think it’s going through. Probably have to change the file type from iMovie and compress it etc. At this point I think I’ll just post it on YouTube. I very much appreciate your willingness to give feedback, I’m thinkin maybe I’ll compress the other video when it’s done, the part 2, and send ya that one. This one’s a few minutes, not much to give feedback on really. ?

? ?? Key insight imo....no you’re not. The I am, or awareness, is aware of the experience... and is not experiencing itself being moved up any scales. Move the thought up the scale. It’s great you’re intuitively reaching for the better thought. This does not encroach on that, obviously do that. Another way to say this... while moving the thought up scale “oh, ok, this is how I’m creating emotion”. One paradigm: “This is how I understand what I’m experiencing, this is how I learn about myself” Another paradigm: “Well fuck me. I’ve been creating these emotions I’m experiencing this whole time.” The difference is subtle and profound. The belief that there is a direct experience of “other people’s thoughts”. Inspection reveals there is not. Missing that belief... one is already trying to “sort through other people’s thoughts”, or “sort through my thoughts about what other people think of me”. What’s being missing is that is all about a unicorn, which you never actually experience. Instead of... just your thought - as in, the thought you are believing and are focusing on. “Social interaction” is not direct experience. Direct experience is of the thought “social interaction”... and perception. Mistaking this, one begins to paint social interaction as cumbersome to say the least, or “the problem” in more intense thought attachment cases, and this leads to ‘realms’ like narcissism, or missing one’s own projection of one’s own monkey mind. “Social interaction” is literally whatever you believe it is, if you believe your thoughts in the first place. (When I use the term monkey mind btw, it’s not meant derogatory, it point’s to you are not a monkey...and that’s why monkey mind feels ‘off’... look past any ‘beating up on yourself’ and see the liberation pointed to) Yes, the root is your belief that you experience “other people’s thoughts”. That belief is in a bubble. My aim is to burst that bubble, because the bubble is made of goodness. This aspect is resonating as ‘video worthy’. Mind if I record a quick explanation and email it to you? Maybe you could give me feedback, like ‘great as it is’, or ‘change this or that’ to make it clearer? Moving a thought up the scale is bursting a belief bubble which = the betterment and enhancement (via injection of more true nature & goodness) of & “into” the living experience.

Nahm replied to GreenLight's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@GreenLight When thoughts arise about yourself, they’re not actually about yourself, they’re thoughts. Thus the thought arises “I feel like an outsider”, but that is not feeling good, and there is no direct experience of being an outsider...it’s a thought...about a you... being an outsider. Missing this, the experience sucks. Spotting this, liberation. Missing this, seems like it has something to do with God or spirituality. Spotting this, liberation. Dualities, like all conflicts are added, not inherent or pre-existing. Similarly, ‘problems’ are ideas, perspectives... which ‘resolve’ by seeing through them, ‘collapsing the duality’, or just plain old letting them go....then ‘solutions’ arise. A dreamboard is an effortless way to collapse the spirituality vs living life duality. Imo they’re sweetest ‘together’. Could be said to be the caring, not by chance, full free will, non-obligatory, based on what you want, make as much money as you want, way, which revolves around you naturally feeling good.
