As in proposed marriage, asked her to marry you?
-
I’ve heard there are even parts of the world where woman are genuinely attracted to men who treat them with insensitivity, or, as petty / subordinate, but ‘round’ here, it does not seem like racism & self diminishing thoughts attract anything.
-
Twoness, identification, believing thoughts and ideas. Only a problem for a thinker thinking. Love never minds, cause love never matters.
-
By definition in the usage here, it is a stage. What about when there are no stages?

Being a lens of focus of conditions, and an infinite being which becomes them, is pretty interesting, fun, carefree, and exciting. Like exploring everywhere without leaving home. The meaninglessness is the beauty, just as love, peace, happiness, and creator creating creation needs no reasons. Beauty, like love, is not just a thought, opinion, or experience, but causeless true self, or nonlocal timeless true nature. “Everything I do in this life” is still applying meaning, but sort of pretending you aren’t. If the lens created it “this life has no real meaning”, one can not be truly surprised in experiencing this life has no real meaning. The creator is prior to meaning, the creator creates it, purposefully, or otherwise. A dreamboard, meditation, and the emotional scale. But I’d say ‘made it prior’ to meaning, creation, thought & understanding, not beyond. ‘Beyond’ has the essence of a knower knowing, which sucks the deepest fun out of experience / being, and traces back to thought attachment / separation. (In this usage) A stage is either something you’re having the time of your life on, or something you’re mentally, presently, ‘stuck’ in. For there to be a trap to escape, is to believe one is in a trap to escape. It’s applying meaning, just not meaning which resonates with pure freedom. Nihilism is thought based. Sometimes there is the seeing through meaning experienced as a concern or a loss, because it’s thought based, and not direct experience. The mirage of concern is actually the love. Making a dreamboard is like retreats, etc... it’s all about the direct experience, yet less fleeting. If it’s helpful / useful with ‘where you’re at’, consider... levels of knowing can be said to be known, but not knowing has not the levels which were known. This imo was best captured and expressed by the most obviously woke person on the planet, Justin Bieber, who said, “my mamma don’t like you... and she likes everyone”. Know yourself as nothing, as not knowing without any thing to know. Yet feel yourself as true, truth, ‘real’ / eternal, being all that is. Most often nihilism is bypassing true and unique desires, for life, using existential concepts. The smallest, tiniest step in life, in the desired direction, however seemingly insignificant, is the game changer, and the beginning of an effortless Re contextualization of experience, and ‘what is’, or, ‘where you’re at’ life wise. -
If you needed help you wouldn’t have a choice, but you do, and really it’s just like anything else. Getting help is you choosing to help yourself and get where you desire to get to. Take the path of least resistance.

It’s hard to say what you’re referring to, as a lot was said on the thread. If you have questions fire away. The more specific the questions you formulate are, the more you stand to experience insights, or, realizations. Like, get painstakingly incredibly specific. I did make this video, which covers a lot of what this thread is about, and a couple follow up videos which are more ‘and now see this in your life’ oriented. Not to imply watching videos is a substitute for talking things through, and more importantly, for direct experience. These bring more realization about, of course. -

@Godishere Yes. What feels off for ya? (Curious) -
If you went to the park one nice day and met love, and said to love, “you are fear, you resist, you lack, you must improve, you’re a cheater, you’re not developed enough, you’re clinging, you need, you have issues, you take way too long, you’ve hurdles, you’ve blocks, you’re cloudy & distorted, you’re not clear, you’re incoherent, you’re divided, you’re awkward, you’re anger, you lack interest, you don’t care and you’re weird, you’re very distant, you avoid loving in relationships and friendships because you’re love, you’ve huge barriers of living and dating, you can’t be interested or show interest in your current condition, you can not connect with anyone, you lack yourself, you are a split psyche, you want to be miserable forever, you’re true identity is misery, you sabotage yourself, and you’re in a concrete cell...” love would not have heard a single word of this. But because love is unconditionally loving, you would feel the discord and judgement of everything you said, to love. You could still believe these things about love, by labelling ‘yourself’, with labels like fear, anxiety, etc. But a psychedelic will take these labels away. Revealing to you that you are saying these things, telling this story, to love. It’s very humbling to experience love is always loving.

@28 cm unbuffed You didn’t die and come back per se. You think you did because you can’t think yourself, and because all thinking is twoness (alive & dead, here & there). You ‘came back’ to be in love, but aren’t realizing you in very literally in love right now. There’s just the one of you, not two, and that One is This. Look for what to let go, which is no longer resonating or serving you, and as you do, you float and feel this love. And not just childhood, relationships, etc stuff, concepts, beliefs about the bigger picture or reality. When more is let go it’s easier to focus more on what you love, enjoy and have passion for. Life makes sense. -
@4201 Want nonduality instead. Tame the ox. Sessions aren’t necessary, but to compare, just like anything else, you have to have the direct expereince to be able to compare the direct experience.

Yes, not two is a thought, and there are not two perception’s, or two in perception. It’s better to check for yourself. Try to find separation, inspect, investigate. Yes, even the word / thought ‘perception’ as a pointer can go. Yes, this is conditioning. Learned language, numbers, etc... believed to define separate objects, rather than serve as communication in regard to what is in actuality has never been separate. Fingers could be said to correspond to toes, yet aren’t really separate... learning the words, and believing thoughts, makes it seem so. Also, ‘correspond’ is another thought, a label learned, based on the belief in two, in perception. If there are not two, and there is ‘stuff’.... -
Notice you are aware of the thoughts of there being versions, or past versions of yourself, but there are not actually other versions of you. Double check, be sure, by looking around. What you’re experiencing are thoughts, about yourself. The thoughts are believed to be about you - but are not actually about you. THAT is what feels off. You might be believing the thoughts are about you and are true - and that is what feels off. It isn’t. Feeling is letting you know that those thoughts are not about you. They are just, thoughts. They aren’t really about a time which exists outside of this present moment... and they are really about a you which exists outside of this present moment. It simply is as it is actually experienced - that thought doesn’t feel good. It feels off if I think about a version of myself too. It would feel off to anyone. By hating and not wanting to remember anything you hated about yourself - you are unfortunately focusing on hate, and the very thoughts which you do not want to focus on. You do not like how it feels to focus on thoughts about yourself (which aren’t actually true or about yourself) and to focus on hate. So, focus on what does feel good to you. It could be the smallest things. Looking at a picture of a puppy online for example, feels incredibly better than focusing on hate. It is good to get some time to yourself, away from what triggers you. REALLY take that time away though. Focus on something, anything, else. Rather than thinking in terms of changing yourself ... read a bit and understand the emotions you are experiencing. You are love and you are a creator. If you are focusing on hate and thoughts about yourself that don’t feel good.... that is what love is creating, that experience. If it feels terrible, it’s because hate is in extreme discord with the actuality that you are love. When you focus on anything else, that is what love is creating. If it feels great, it’s because it’s aligned with the true nature, or, that you are love. Don’t expect to “realize” anything here. You’re already feeling the alignment and or discord. Listen to that. Listen. There is nothing that actually needs to be solved. There is nothing that needs to be avoided or run away from. There is nothing wrong with you which is in need of fixing.

What the water is an analogy for can not be thought, as in no one will be able to think it, in the same way perception can not be thought. I recommend not trying to. I think it has the possibility to create tension, and create a wrongful impression of a value of thinking. No one has or will ever ‘think their way to awakening’, as ‘it’ is the utter opposite direction, hence all the meditation, yoga, retreats, etc, etc. Inspection and contemplation of reality is most helpful, but won’t take one across the realization line so to speak. It expands the mental frame of reference. What I believe you could do, is look in that mirror at the two eyes, and notice ‘two’ isn’t in perception, ‘two’ is a thought that arises, which seems to label perception. Maybe imagine being a toddler, or someone that doesn’t know any words. Same perception, just wouldn’t be labeled. Also, and I don’t mean it critically, or harping, but that I feel it would be most helpful to you in your inquiries... to notice there is a difference between “I think, I see, I know”... and “we.. or you... think, see, know”... “everyone is clueless”...”nobody knows”. Existential inquiry seems very complex, but ‘down the path’, or ‘ultimately’ literally could not be more simple. Like, literally, there is no remaining possibility of simplifying. So that distinction stands to reduce like 90% of thinking, making the inspection or inquiry far more simple. Not to mention the reduction in thinking contributing to a more peaceful mind and better night’s sleep, etc. If you are ‘stuck’ on not seeing ‘two’ is a thought, and seeing is just seeing (perception), definitely don’t ‘beat up on yourself’, but regard that as thought attachment. That is not a ‘negative’ phrase. For anyone genuinely seeking, that is an extremely helpful phrase. -

That’s just how you’re framing it up, hadn’t occurred to me. Stop thinking about me then and focus on what’s being said. Yes, the water is analogous for what. Notice a certain habit... “let’s stop trying to outsmart each other”... “not sure what you are on about”...”we see around”. There is a belief experience is on behalf of two, such as “we see”. But is it seen there is no direct actual experience of this...that it is an assumption...? -
@TheDao Sometimes, much more rare though.

@mandyjw Really it’s the man-tell-er effect, but it works because of our Mandela false flag.

She was a mod. You guys are experiencing the Mandela effect. It’s wild.

@4201 People I have sessions with awaken. This is my normal day to day. The vast majority have never meditated or taken a psychedelic. None of this is due to me, nor can be credited to me in any way. I am no more responsible for their awakening than I am their previous suffering. What do you make of this?

Translation: Fuck it. That it doesn’t fit your current black & white paradox doesn’t make a me which is vague, it makes it useful. Contemplation, even for seconds, will always be a response. Never a reaction. If the path is not fun, interesting, and exciting, you’re not on the path. ’Things’ is a distinction btw. A parallel supplement for ‘stuff’. -
Nahm replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
The water was not an analogy for an it’s. No. That would look like it is what it is and no one really knows. Nuance is more of a love making, whereas you’re just saying fuck it. -
Nahm replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
No. Human mind is parallel to why, as another thought. Trying pointing to one. Not to the water. Water is magic and can forget on purpose, and believe appearance can be separation when it isn’t. -
Nahm replied to Gabith's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Gabith Love veils itself as the activity of thinking / thinker. Sounds like meditation clearly worked (allowing the activity to settle, come to a rest), why not do that every morning? Expressive writing & the emotional scale are great for ‘what comes up’ (if anything). Also, what about just doing one thing each day which is for someone else? No matter how big or small. What about doing one thing for yourself each day, no matter how big or small? Sometimes the activity of thinking, carried over from one day to the next, for a while, creates a ‘big picture’ which can be like a mountain.. and then there is a ton of relief and a burst of inspiration in doing the smallest step each day, and allowing that to be enough.
