@7thLetter What is it you actually want to share? What is that which is the reason you even want to create content or have a channel? If you remove the judgment of low or high quality, what is it you are really saying there?

@khalifa I’d find a good therapist and meet as often as is possible, and express how you feel. Every time the past and or trips come up, ‘return’ to the present and express how you feel right now. Overtime outlook and attitude (right now) in relation to the love you are (right now) will be realized, vs how you feel right now being caused by past experiences. Those are thoughts arising, memories, (not a past) and they are not in alignment with truth, love, or, the now… with you. -
Get into those details / dualities as they arise, noticing they’re thoughts, thus not believing / attaching to them so to speak. While it seems like the feeling is due to the past, the offness of feeling is in regard to the thoughts arising now. ‘Go to’ a past or past events only right now. Literally find what you’re thinking or talking about. If Abe’s teaching’s resonate, use them… fully. Specifically the ‘lesson’ or message of ‘you can’t get there from there’. Sounds like that’s what you’re trying to impose, and discovering the hard way. It’s pretty easy to be ‘I create my own reality’ when things are clicking & working out… but when there are difficulties, that’s when you don’t say it’s because of an outside force asserting upon you (5meo) you introspect, have a look at how you’re interpreting, and free yourself of the discord in perspective.

Another person seems to be a thought of a person, by a person… but there aren’t people, a person, things, or thoughts. -
You. Meditation is ideal for allowing self referential thoughts to settle and disappear. Every thought is made of it. Every word is made of it. So there is no it, which any thoughts, or any words are about. Thoughts about a you needing something are the veil. Which there also isn’t.
-
The one you’re talking about isn’t ‘there’. You’re ‘the dream’ of a person in it… not a person ‘in an it’… actually trying to sustain a feeling or state. Seems so… but it’s not so.

Yes. ‘What’ is an idea. -

Yes, and even more so ‘problem’ is a lens, just one way to look at things. It seems you’re conscious of this. Don’t feed them and they won’t show up anymore. If any uncomfortable emotions arise, express & understand what you’re feeling. -

@Atb210201 Appreciate the kindness, thank you. Be sure to remember, it’s not about what I’m saying. Don’t take my word for anything. I’m just like a road sign, saying ‘well, you could go this way about it’. You gotta try it all out and see how you feel & what you find. This road sign is nonetheless wishing you the absolute best of this place, this peace, this love & living. -

Have a look at this meditations page. While it’s suggestive of a path format or way to go about spirituality, it’s just one of many. It might be helpful though having a look at the basics first, and then seeing how grounding and body awareness follow. Meditation is specifically useful for liberating from identifying with thoughts, even when & especially when one isn’t currently recognizing they are doing so. The emotional scale can be very useful for this, as in that light doubt is recognized as an emotion you experience, rather than something which is about you. (It’s about the thoughts, not you). Doubt isn’t ‘bad’, it’s not pleasant, but it’s natural. That it doesn’t feel good, let’s you know something about yourself. It also stands to help you realize the comfort, certainty, or absolute you’re looking for in thoughts, is actually found in grounding in feeling. Meditation helps one get a little space between the awareness of the thoughts, and the thoughts. This must be experienced though, thinking about it won’t do. Consider the difference between thinking about eating a strawberry, and the taste and actual experience of eating a strawberry. This also must be experienced, the explanation is just a suggestion, a pointer to you experiencing it… while it seems like that scary feeling is going to be fixed or resolved by ‘getting more’ existential context & concepts, what’s inevitably found is that was aversion, or avoidance, of feeling. This is ultimately & innocently caused by conditioning, or, beliefs we created about ourselves from what we experienced, from identifying via experience. So it’s really about ‘what can I let go of’, and not ‘what do I need to understand such that I feel better’. When said beliefs of identity arise, they come up & out. When this occurs, the mind tends to weave & believe stories about feeling, and expressing, or, being on board with this ‘up & out’ is most effective. Just a suggestion, but writing in a expression journal for just a few minutes each day can be very impactful, relieving, relaxing, and liberating. No one can tell you anything about God. You have to let it all go, all that conditioning, which has some tough points but is overall great feeling. So to speak, in this way, you arrive at the source of that feeling. You might consider those (considering / believing or not what anyone says vs letting go and discovering for yourself) are opposites, and perhaps this is what feels off or threatening to you. There are many great teachers, and there is some truth in the notion that one might be more suited & beneficial for you a bit later down your path. Don’t believe or refute this… but rather please receive it as a suggestion, an invitation to check to see if it is accurate in your own direct experience… Each of us share a commonality in experiencing, specifically, in regard to what we are directly aware of, or, what is not conceptual… Awareness is directly aware of: Thought, perception, and sensation. By thought, I mean concepts, ideas, imaginings, visions, memories, etc, etc. By perception, I mean seeing, hearing, tasting, etc. By sensation, I mean the ‘raw’ presence of sensation, or simply ‘that there is the presence of sensation’. Give that some time, some inspection, if the notion or suggestion of doing so feels good to you. Then inspect, verify satisfactorily for yourself in your own experience… that none of those three (thought, perception, sensation) mix, or can be mixed. By that I mean, there is the experience of seeing visually speaking. In regard to seeing, bring to mind the thought label ‘giraffe’… and though it seems silly, label the experience of seeing, not as ‘seeing’, but as ‘giraffe’. Then notice the experience of seeing remain absolutely unaffected by thought. You could think seeing is anything, but the direct experience of seeing does not change. Same for sensation. Check now, is there the presence of sensation in the bottoms of your feet? Relax, and wait for an inner check which happens, and then there will be the recognition that indeed, yes, there is the presence of sensation in the bottoms of the feet. Then, do the same thing with this sensation, not the thought ‘sensation’, but that feeling which the word points to. Rename that presence of sensation ‘clouds’, ‘dinosaurs’, ‘boat’ . Notice, the presence remains exactly the same, no matter what you think about it, as in no matter what you label it. Having said all that… now consider that perhaps when you are saying ‘perceiving’ there… you are meaning ‘interpreting’. -
@Vivaldo If you just want sex it’s actually very simple, just get a job / an income and a prostitute. If reading that feels a little ‘cold’ to you, allow what else you want to come to mind, that which makes it ‘warmer’ to you. Maybe this helps you see you don’t just want sex, but to have fun with someone, to get to know them and also yourself more through relationship with them. Maybe you want to do & experience things together, to discover new experiences together, etc. If so, put that first, and as unsatisfying as this might initially sound (try it and see) let it (getting laid) go from your mind, and paradoxically the sex will naturally follow at some point.

@Atb210201 I wonder if this is helpful…. The view, or way you’re framing experience up seems to point to a belief in two sources, as if there were a source of creating good, and a source of creating bad… such that there is then concern that “if I think about this or that terrible thing, it’ll manifest”. -

@Windappreciator ‘What’ is a thought. ‘What is perception’ is a thought. ‘Perception’, is a thought, a label, which points and does not actually define. In the experience of thought attachment, it seems like thought does or could define perception, such as the believing in / of the thought ‘form’, which then seems to define perception as a thing or separate things. Beliefs can experientially have a sort of trickle down effect, where another one justifies (seems to) a previous one. -

@Atb210201 Yes all arising concepts are absolute infinity. Also the concept of a leprechaun riding a unicorn could arise in thought, but not ‘in’ perception. -

@Atb210201 No. -
@SQAAD Might be easier to see these ‘bigger picture’ or ‘collective’ projections in regard to pleasure. (You kinda keep leaning to the undesirable.) And then bring them home so to speak, or notice it’s ‘your’ thoughts. (For the sake of ‘seeing through’, as prior, to the thought attachment).

A silly joke is funny and not in need of resolution. Maybe I’m reading between the lines too much (?)… but it sounds like the thoughts about the psychedelic are used to perpetuate and support self referential beliefs. Only the non repeating ultimately cures, as the nature of belief is that they’re already not true. Psychedelics are quite effective in showing you nothing you believe is actually true (that a belief actually is, a belief). Listening to how you feel also ‘works’. Sometimes we think, believe and say stuff about ourself that we’d never say about a good friend. That guidance of feeling… that’s a real good friend. A psychedelic review coming out of Stanford is kind of a joke in itself. Like a review of information on vegetarianism recorded in a meat processing facility.

What I’m saying might seem ‘radical’ or maybe difficult to consider, but I’m suggesting those thoughts don’t feel good to you, because they’re not true about you. To try to do something to ‘fix’ or ‘solve’ them, would be to continue repeat & believe them (those thoughts). If you accidently put your hand on a hot stove you’d immediately remove it. Not because it’s true or not, but because of how it feels. I suggest that same intelligence that is the body, is applied (or allowed to be applied) to the thoughts. For your own well being & happiness. Give these a read, and just notice how you feel as you do. Recognize that what you want, is to feel good. Prioritize feeling good, way above what you or anyone else thinks, says, or believes. -
@somegirl I didn’t mean you’re crazy . Sometimes people think the vibrational approach for mental & emotional equanimity is crazy. ‘Crazy’ was meant humorously about my own comment, not about you. I hope it works out though, sounds like you got your hands full.
-
@somegirl Here I go on the relationship section about to say some crazy shit…. Buuuut have you considered the vibrational resonating vs not resonating aspect, like two tuning forks? My dad was unbearable when I lived at home with him, but the instant this clicked everything changed. Takes a little unpacking but the gist of it is… if she called you a refrigerator, a doorknob, or a toaster, you’d be perfectly unmoved, unaffected.

It’s neither wrong nor right. It’s preference. A thought.. “wrong”. You. The ‘bigger’ picture, the relevance is that you simply yet utterly & profoundly - can not get it wrong. If it seemed that you did, that’d be you or someone else judging. -
@ndm678 Maybe it’s simpler, obvious even… maybe if you believe you will owe, you will experience as if you do.

It will even attribute the corruption to an outside source. -
I think “it is laced with arsenic & razorblades”. It feels like it’s not. Sometimes I believe the thought, and so the feeling seems to be about that it is. But I remember it is the thought which the feeling is teaching me about. It is better to love and to lose, to be burned, to be hurt, to be scorned, bruised & broken - than to never have loved.
