there is no fundamental reason. you would deliberately choose to do so if you suffered due to a distracted mind and conflicted thought patterns. it's like drinking water when you're thirsty.

no way. life feels GREAT the word "delusion" means ignorance to me. and the word "ignorance", to me, means to suffer due to confusion or lack of knowledge. this is not nearly close to the way i experience Life. -

not in my experience. for me, Life = Truth. -
huge attachments, poor perspectives and denial of growth.

i see. that's probabily why you fail and suffer so much. the way you think about relationships is a little messed up. maybe because of the influence of your parents or your local culture. i've been married with my wife for almost 1 year, but we've been together for almost 3 years and the fire within us grows bigger and bigger everyday. we've been inspiring each other since the first day we met. nobody is submissive and compliant. i don't follow her and she doesn't follow me. we're both following a higher purpose. it has to be a completely balanced teamwork or someone will fall apart. emotions cannot be controlled. emotions are supposed to be felt in the bones. they are a consequence of your thought patterns, the words you speak and the way you act. if you don't like what you feel, you have to break free from your pride and start questioning everything you think you know. what if you're completely wrong about what it means to be a real man? i need more detailed information. what time do you wake up? what do you do? what do you eat? how do you go to work? describe your day and how you feel.

@Healingheart where do the words "can't trust my mind" come from? -
@Hardkill why do you still try to control the behavior of women? what do you do on a daily basis? can you post your daily schedule? are you willing to take action and tweak it a little?

Heal your inner wounds first, and you will automatically create peace in the world, just by your example. i agree. only by fully understanding and mitigating the source of conflict within yourself you'll be able to help others. you have to move the first stone. -
@WhatIsLifeneway it's a harsh thing to say but no intimate relationship works well if you want to be satisfied. you gotta find your internal source of beauty and feed on it. it's INFINITE.

you can change the way you live. you have that power. the only thing you can't change is your memories, but you still can change the way you deal with them. no... i gave you the instructions. yoga is an internal movement. perform slight stretches where you feel emotions and focus the breath on that part of the body until you relax and the emotions flow. the problem with emotions is when they get stuck. they have to move freely throughout the body. e(motions). -
ajasatya replied to Ingit's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Ingit yoga them up. find the thought patterns that trigger them and understand why they happen. spot the parts of the body where you feel emotions and relax them... stretch and breathe focusing on them. -
@clouffy what exactly do you want to learn?
-
@clouffy the goal of science is to build useful models of reality, so that you can use a smartphone or even go through surgery and come out alive. models of reality are not the Truth. real scientists know this.
-
@clouffy you're misunderstanding the goal of science.

that experiment is a fraud. nobody has ever been able to reproduce it.

Truth was not and will never be false in any sense. breathing from the depths of the heart is enough... -
ajasatya replied to Ethankahn's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
i'm not saying that you should describe it. please, do not! that's the mistake of religious people! i'm saying that you can completely let go of it as well -
ajasatya replied to Ethankahn's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
you talk about "Me" as if it's something frozen, permanent and separated from "material/ordinary" reality. watch a sunflower follow the sun! -

nah, i'm just teasing you. dude, we're existence experiencing individuality. embrace it . if you've already seen enough, there's no reason to be attached to the absolute perspective and the nondualish language. relax i am saying this because it is directly related to your question. there's nothing wrong with embracing humanity and living a great human experience with an awesome job and building a loving family. the difference is that we don't seek from the place of discontentment, but from the place of exuberance! -
@Patrick Lynam find the most boring place ever, where there's nothing much to do except for sitting and contemplating all day long.
