  1. @Identity Ah, the struggle to grasp it and wrap it up in an "I got it" idea. It's such an old story. You cannot change the fact that Truth is your fundamental nature. Live your experiences with no attachment and your existential struggles will disappear.
  2. @Curious You gotta try things out and feel what touches your heart. It could be something as unexpected as starting dancing classes.
  3. @ivankiss Just make a decision: "I give up". Commit to giving up. Truth realization is beautiful until the mind takes over and causes many sorts of struggles. How long do you want to struggle for?
  4. It doesn't work like that. Your life right now is a consequence of an infinitely long and complex chain of events. Everything and everyone is your past reincarnation, for you're not an individual in the most fundamental level... you're the Universe itself living through many forms. I'll give you an example. Suppose that the father of a small boy commits suicide and the experience is so traumatic that the boy grows mentally disturbed. What if that disturbed adult has a child? It's very likely that the child will grow under the toxic influence of his/her disturbed father. And nobody in this tragic story is a reincarnation of someone in particular. Rather, they're all the same Entity living different perspectives, thinking that they are individuals.
  5. @Khron Angry? Good. Now let go or you'll be repeating the same mistake, as in looking back at your 38 y/o self and regretting for wasting so much time and energy with anger. Instead, do something about it. Appreciate your life NOW.
  6. @Pernani If you want to master something, manage to be so good at it that you can teach it. If you can't teach something, it means that you haven't mastered it yet. But the main trap in this approach is hypocrisy. If you don't embody/apply what you say on your own life, it smells.
  7. Solipsism has nothing to do with awakening. It's just another mental game.
  8. I'd recommend the Yamas and Niyamas from Yoga + The Noble Eightfold Path from Buddhism. Those 2 ensemble well. Confusing? Try those and you will notice a lot of resistance arising.
  9. Human beings are the planet earth thinking, speaking and typing on the internet.
  10. @arlin If you want to speed up the process, carry out a light emotional state, smile (for real), wish happiness for EVERYONE around you (parents included) and be a servant. These practices should trigger a lot of unconscious toxic patterns.
  11. Stop thinking that you don't have a normal life. This silent agony is more common than you think. Virtually everyone is a piece of suffering flesh, specially those who put a lot of effort to look happy. That's normal life: a series of days of sorrow and despair. If you want to get out of the mud, you will have to live an extraordinarily anormal life. The first step is questioning every single belief about what it means to be happy. You absorbed those as you grew up, which is expected. Now it's time to free yourself.
  12. @EricHanefi Because there's no way out. Arising as Consciousness experiencing itself is a spontaneous and unstoppable mark of existence. The only option is to learn how to embrace and appreciate this absurd phenomenon called Life.
  13. @VeganAwake Can you ever get away from it or you just think you do?
  14. @CreamCat It's not that simple. You can be an asshole as you speak the truth. The truth can hurt people, depending on how you say it. You can say it politely, gently and calmly or you can just say it without taking the feelings of others into consideration. Tenderness is far more advanced than simply not lying.
  15. @Kiko Therapy can be very helpful with phobias.
  16. @kieranperez Good call. Keep it up! You're onto something
  17. @Alex bliss Their own cravings for violence and sadistic practices are already strong forms of suffering.
  18. @Raptorsin7 That's good. Expand your social network. Make true friends. Eventually you'll find someone that's worth sharing intimacy with.
  19. @Raptorsin7 Go to yoga workshops, classes, retreats etc.
