  1. i went to retreats to see how days in a monastery feel like so i would be able to gradually transform my life in a monastery. now i practice mindfulness from the moment i wake up to the moment i go to sleep.
  2. @Santiago important thing: do fun stuff together. don't think of her as a means for your own satisfaction and don't allow her to think of you as a means for her own satisfaction. go out. meet new people. do new stuff. build a new life.
  3. @Alexo45 this is what i'm working at: i am perfecting the quality of my work and i want to work remotely from home.
  4. +1 for this: also, google "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Tantric Sex"
  5. @ZX_man the paradox is only in the mind. you're still struggling with ideas and a monkey mind. Reality just is. you don't need to think about it to make it more or less real.
  6. novos baianos!!!!
  7. huh, do you think she's clean? hahahahahaaahahahha! open up and get ready, because she might open up too! this is where intimate relationships start to become interesting! you might find an ally, a companion for the path of spiritual liberation. opening up is the very step towards emotional clean up.
  8. the insight that motivated me to drop them was a breakthrough 'aha' moment. but it took me 2~3 months to stabilize myself in the new (and healthier) pattern. don't get me wrong... it was extremely hard. it was also probably the best thing that i've ever done in my life. LOL. that picture was taken by some journalist who was documenting an brazilian choro musical concert. i was watching/listening, completely immersed.
  9. @Hardkill you fail because you want to use them. that's not how we treat human beings. even those who "succeed" actually fail. the cycle of cravings is endless. wake up!
  10. Well, that's what I'm trying to figure out. That's what I got stuck on. this is a common mistake. people try to find out what they enjoy doing before actually trying out stuff. do differently this time. go out, get into random stuff and just start doing them. then you'll be able to know what you like and what you don't like.
  11. i used to run on the streets around 2~3 am, shirtless and barefoot. not to exercise, but because i just couldn't stand still.
  12. let go of progress... let go. just practice for no reason. expect no fruits at all.
  13. yes, consciousness affects water because when you're unconscious you suffer a lot and anxiety can make your heart pump harder and your blood circulate faster. enlightenment has nothing to do with believing/creating/philosophizing. that's makyo! enlightenment is the end of struggle. the end of all intern battles. the end of cravings. the end of desiring to impose your beliefs upon Reality and, instead, accepting it completely. if you want to play with beliefs/desires/roles, i recommend that you do it consciously otherwise there will be endless struggle.
  14. @Ascend yes. i've done it through a solid commitment to 24/7 practice of mindfulness/zen. i can't say that i am a monk because i am engaged and i'll marry and have kids soon. but i sit, walk, talk, eat and think like One.
  15. being a millionaire is a crappy goal. but if you have a valuable goal, being a millionaire may be a good means.
  16. @Santiago open up. tell her that you're struggling to discover this thing called love because it's an unexplored territory for you. being sincere is the best way to create valuable connections. dunno if you like gypsy jazz, but this one is for you:
  17. contradicts with oh, the suffering.
  18. yeah i was just trying to say that 3d printing is a a great door to creativity. i don't even like star wars that much
  19. @Revolutionary Think no... i meant 3d jigsaw puzzles damn, i think it would be very very hard to beat them. this looks scary!
  20. @Revolutionary Think when i was a child i dreamed about 3d puzzles! i googled it and i couldn't find anything else other than castles. i think this is an unexplored field!
  21. honestly, your products are very weak. i just googled "3d printed objects" and i found amazing stuff! you have to be more creative. don't just sell stupid 3d objects made with noob level blender skills. you have to go waaaaaaay deeper. also, what a horrible cover picture! it made me think "why the hell am i here?" low resolution pictures/words/videos feel extremely awful.
