@Shin Are you sure it's not Leo being high on something -

@Toby Here's the full interview the Park Bench part came from: Also, if you haven't watched this interview with Eckhart, it's quite interesting as well: -

When the energy of 'me' (the energy of seeking) suddenly collapses, all there is is the infinite, is being-ness, is freedom. -

@Shin That's so beautiful, thank you for sharing! Those are special moments of awakened mindfulness, purity, and peace. I often see the world around me like that too -

He did stay at a Buddhist monastery for awhile. There's an interview where he says he slept on park benches...that sounds like homeless to me. But I could be wrong. -

@Prabhaker I'm not against poetry, I love poetry and used to write it myself. What I was talking about is a teacher who don't beat around the bush , but give you the bullet of truth to bite when the bullet of truth is due, and thus helping you gradually graduate from 'milk' to 'meat', so to speak. Hey, I just used metaphors -

He probly stayed in the city cos there was food for homeless available there. But I'm not saying what he did was wrong, after a while, though, he went back to living in apartment, driving a car, getting a girl-friend, writing books, giving public talks, making money, etc. If he didn't have education, his success as a writer and speaker most likey wouldn't have been possible. -

@electroBeam You wanna be like Eckhart Tolle sleeping on park benches instead? -
@SFRL Also consider adding a couple table spoons of raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar to your daily water...so many health benefits and makes water not taste so bland.

Half your weight in ounces. I weigh 110 lb, so my daily water intake is around 55 oz.

@Azrael I was wondering about you haven't been posting for sometime. And you also changed your screen name. Always thought your posts were quite insighful, you came across as a serious seeker. Thank you for sharing and congratulations ! -

That's what Leo was also telling in today's video describing his death experience... when the body-mind melts away, all there's left in eternity is 'I Am'. -
Yes, I drink and cook in alkaline water only.
-
Yes, but not as main source (organ meat is). My dog is very selective as far as veggies and roots go, so experiment with yours. Mine would eat cooked carrots, spinach, sweet potato (but not white/yellow potato), onion, peas, cabbage, and he loves turmeric root. When he was a puppy, he ate fresh fruit like apples too, but not anymore. They do need heart healthy diet at any age, though, because dogs in general are prone to heart desease as they age. I also give him alkaline water only - it nutrilizes acidity and flushes out toxins while hyderates body.

I like a no-bs pragmatic cut' dry kind of approach to teaching. Flowery words with poetic undertone have never resonated with me. Language doesn't have complete ability to express/describe one's knowing. So people do what they can to communicate it, including the use of metaphors, adjectives, etc. Teachers who use straightforward method of communication are often misunderstood, but they are the ones who will help you cut through all the flowery stuff and right to the core of the matter. You just have to be open to it. -
Natasha replied to Abi's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Hi @Abi I've been moving in that direction recently and my levels of peace and happiness have been steadily increasing. No TV, no phone, no radio, lots of solitude with meditation and contemplation, wholesome diet, excercise, time in nature, no emotionally charged relationships. Got off Facebook last year, then was pulled back in...it's a distraction, so it will have to go too. As far as YT, I only watch stuff on self-actualization and what would help me grow spiritually. I also switched jobs last year and am doing now what brings me fulfilment. I love being alone, there is no lack in just being. Sounds like you have a good plan. Keep us posted on your progress -

Cult leaders start out mildly, testing waters, so to speak, and slowly and grooming following. At the beginning some of John's posts seemed ok, but as time went on, they became more weird. That's how mind control works - subtly yet methodically and persistently. Part of self-actualization is about being able to see through others' bs. -

This raises a question about selfies. Here's my most recent one - a magnolia bloom out in the yard: -

Belief is a construct of thoughts -> thoughts are energy forms with illusiory content -> so beliefs are basically a lie -> lie is opposite of truth -
Natasha replied to Lou7's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Lou7 When you're self-actualized, you don't mind what other people think of you and are free from opinions of others. You are here to live your life, not seek approval of anyone -

@The Universe It's like for a sand castle to seek sand. You are a sand castle in a land of sand... looking for sand
