  1. @Vladimir Lol Your joke was pretty good. The ladies in tight yoga pants need to loosen up a bit
  2. Insights from a Western modern day sage on his lifestyle, non-duality, and more - interesting
  3. @WaterfallMachine Mister Ego is sad and understandiably so - its losing its grip and using mind attacks as a survival mechanism. This will help put things in better perspective. Hugs
  4. @Vladimir Kонечно
  5. In order to unlearn conditioning/programming one needs to learn tools to effectively fight illusion with illusion. Besides, not everyone takes psychedelics... nothing wrong with it - as long as you keep expanding your awareness, it's a progress.
  6. @Vladimir Yes, I can still speak Russian and Ukrainian. I talk to my family back in Ukraine via Skype on a regular basis. But English is my primary way of communication too. It wouldn't be hard to lose your native language without much practice. Dah!
  7. @Vladimir Cool! I was born and raised in Odessa, Ukraine, moved to the U.S. in 1995. My Grandmother originally came from Siberia. She was one tough lady.
  8. @Vladimir is a common East European name. Where are your roots from?
  9. No, but being a jester is serious business. Here's one...dancing his way out of a puppet show matrix
  10. LOL This is more like uncertainty or something, not really contentment...Try again
  11. @Afonso As long as you observe and not absorb your thoughts, it's a progress.
  12. Without lows there would be no highs. What we really want, though, is neutral/decompassionate/unconditionally content mind. Do you have a meme for that?
  13. @Dodo As soon as I read the title of this thread, I knew it was Rupert inspired But yeah, I like his defining awareness as existential knowing. Those who have tapped into the deep waters of the Absolute, take infinite pleasure.
  14. I haven't studied Vedanta, but what Leo did in these last 2 videos he'd pulled together hundreds/thousands years worth of human wisdom to explain the nature of the Absolute. It's hard to put in a post everything he covers there, maybe you can listen in short pieces while driving or taking lunch. I'll be taking the time to watch the Infinity episodes again this weekend, just one time was not enough for me to really get all the points and contemplate on the content presented. What he's talking about there is super advanced stuff. Leo is easy to listen, though. Give his vids a shot sometime
  15. I think Leo covered this in his recent infinity vids with the sand statue and zip-file examples. That's also what teachers of non-duality mean when they say 'everything and nothing'.
  16. @Leo Gura Thank you so much for all the videos you've created. What you communicate on a weekly basis has helped grow my awareness and change my life little by little. Still ways to go I also appreciate this community of like-minded beings, where we get to share ideas and learn from each other. Sending out positive vibes to all To infinity and beyond!
  17. Yes, you're the container in which existence dwells. Can't contain the container haha You're untouchable!
  18. Real love is not conceptual at all, it is rooted in Being. As long as you believe your mind, you won't know how to love.
  19. @Mulky This will help put things in better perspective
  20. @Ilya I would say companionship with another form is something an enlightened would still appreciate. There would be a measure of (healthy) detachment in a relationship and their love and acceptance towards each other would be unconditional. They would relate from a Being perception (vs deficiency perception). Examples of enlightened couples - Eckhart Tolle and Kim Eng, Adyashanti and Mukti, Rupert Spira and Ellen Emmet, etc.
  21. Most of the times when I wake up in the middle of the night is for no particular reason, and I go right back to sleep with no problems. I also rarely dream. But will take your advice and contemplate on possible reasons why I wake up Though waking up in the middle of the night never bothers me or disrupts my rest in any way. I'll try to find that article/study and post it in this thread.
  22. @Shin I read a study awhile ago that most healthy sleep is when your body wakes up on its own every 3-4 hrs (split sleep), with a brief interval inbetween (when we usually take a drink of water or go to the restroom at night). When I go to bed, I fall asleep right away in complete silence. I usually wake up in the middle of the night (without an alarm or a distraction), and then go right back to sleep part 2. My night sleep is deep, and I always feel refreshed and energetic in the morning, even after most tiresome days. During the day I keep my emotional levels even, so my brain doesn't get over-stimulated - this helps sleep too. I also noticed that when I meditate longer, I usually require less sleep...go figure
