  1. That might be a good moment for psychedelics. But spirituality shouldn't be about empty-recognition within solely, that's not going to be all of your life anyways, maybe for a time you can just focus on that solely, but aside from silence and peace, this is also about love. Not about you know, some strange compulsive neurotic idealistic mode of behavior, but honest balanced loving living. So if you have some balance in that, that also works in terms of happiness and fulfillment and progress, and you don't need to rely on meditation solely. Also if you can't seem to get yourself started psychedelics/weed or breathwork can get you that glimpse.
  2. The only thing I could think of, would be when you can see when a being's behavior is genuine or not.. or is right for you. That's a sort of insight that is beyond thought, a direct seeing, but an insight related to 'my knowing' is just relative theory.
  3. EVERY so called insight, is not the truth, but a thought. There can be certain relative 'insights' that are relatively true for your life, like: 'oh because my mom was so mean, that influenced my conditioned behavior into being mean', which is about relative cause and effect, you can also say: 'yeah, that had something to do with it, but also, a bird shit on my head when I was 12 and that also didn't help', that's then also relatively true. That you/reality is non-dual, that you cannot split reality in half, that you are it, is the real logos, which leads to self-worth, respect, love, empowerment.
  4. Also these are not beings in a naturally existing world (wherein they would be born, and be in relationship to nature and karma), it's an astral dream experience.
  5. Some buddhist study of impermanence wouldn't hurt the guy. Hell is fear, rejection of emotion and of self, rejecting to love, forgetting to love, but even that becomes somewhat conscious, doesn't have to be so bad, i.e. ur learning to love and realize yourself. You can be in the most beautiful scenery with the most loving caring women around you, and feel like ur in hell due to your panic. Similarly you can be burning in flames and be thrilling with ecstasy if you know love light self is eternal and real.
  6. Am I a character in a book? How does that compare to reality. Yeah the rock might have some elemental play of consciousness in it. As for intelligence, 'making the right choices', it's just magic essentially, love.
  7. I honestly still can't say whether we have free will or not. Sure, everything affects everything else and there is no separate free will, which is very trippy, and that does undermine definitely something fundamental we may have previously believed in.. .. As for totally no free will or not, I mean, isn't it a mystery how the one can be also, albeit in this dream, many, and how there are apparently separate minds as well, functioning electrically. Still though, no separate free will is possible, that means you never have done something alone, but how does that change anything, aside from increasing a sense of unity, should be less or no shame then, but if there still is some sense of Independence that seems to be there as well. It may be frustrating to think about, but it does not have to be a problem, life is life, and in love or silence we can feel good.
  8. Well, you can experience a connection of truth when looking at someone even through a video, though I must say, having been with teachers IRL and seeing videos: seeing them in real life is like a completely different experience, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, way more direct, then the teacher if they are pure can really be done justice so to speak. But still, these two in particular for me, are very profound even in video, and inspiring to look at and study:
  9. A basic income just makes a hell of a lot sense. There are only so much essential jobs, automation and technological development have replaced and eased a lot of it. If you keep a work or die system with such technological development, you imply that forced luxury is more important than security/freedom, which is just aids.
  10. If there could be no pain or suffering at all, life also wouldn't be very deep, but you must not get this stuck in this notion that 'life is suffering', in love or silence you can really transcend it in perfect happiness.
  11. If that really happened, that doesn't sound good, but if you hadn't noticed, people also lie a lot. Not to mention all the reasons I just mentioned, but also in cases of law suits, money.
  12. This video is also pretty interesting, he has a psychonaut history, also struggled with panic attacks, depression, a nice add to the the other official 'Adi Da recapitulates his divine history' video
  13. I don't think so, his life was dedicated to service and devotion, reminding people to love, and know themselves. We already know that if you are the center of attention, you are bound to get slack, challenging the norm tend to get slack, talking about ego destroying spirituality will get you slack, giving people advice or putting them in their place will get you slack, being ecstatic will get you slack, behaving spontaneously will get you slack, being popular will get you slack, being different will get you slack, being sexual will get you slack, being successful will get you slack, being a leader will get you slack, being worshiped will definitely get you slack, doing nothing will get you slack. He did all of these things, don't be so quick to judge, society and conditioned ego doesn't tend to react well to spirituality or even love!, and this process is about the death of the ego, and people can fight back as if they are really being killed, in fact they often will even if you start pushing even a little bit. I'm not surprised he got allegations made against him, not at all, and there are many testimonies speaking of his greatness. By the way it contains a misconception of Ken Wilber: KEN WILBER: "I have not, and have never, renounced Da as Realizer, nor have I in any way abandoned my love and devotion for Him. . . . I have sat in satsang with Master Adi Da, and with numerous other great Adepts, and my own opinion is that Master Adi Da is the living Sat-Guru. . . Many people have made their way to Master Da because of my own writings. I am completely happy about that, and I hope I can continue that positive influence. At the same time, I have received an enormous amount of grief, from personal and professional quarters, for my endorsements. I do not regret those endorsements, nor do I retract them. . . . I affirm my own love and devotion to the living Sat-Guru, and I hope my work will continue to bring students to the Way of the Heart. . . . I send my best wishes and love to the Community, and a deep bow to Master Adi Da." https://www.adidawilber.com/writings.html
  14. Love or Silence, practice it diligently and don't underestimate this process or the attachment of mind. Nice Krishna quotes btw
  15. The more you realize this is a mental experience, all dreams become lucid dreams, but that doesn't mean you can 'do everything you like', that was never the case, you never had completely control and won't have, it's a myth that you can do everything in dreams, even flying can be hard or just impossible, and anything that has to do with other beings is also up to them, Yes I am quite sure, perhaps to different degrees, that other beings in dreams can and often are real.
  16. Well well, I've also had absolute glimpses, in a sense I think you are right, in another way, relative life is the absolute also. Tonight actually, I had such an intense dream, then someone gave me LSD and I was like fuck it, then things got really trippy and intense, infinity stuff, humans/me creating things with their minds etc, it overwhelmed kinda, I wanted it to stop, I called out Adi Da, he was like: 'You can do everything except be yourself', I was like, right, im going meditate, still got distracted by people and at some point just woke up in my bed as if nothing happened, surreal stuff ^^
  17. Because it's your unique created experience, to experience what it's like to not love, and to overcome that and to remember love
  18. Staying awake before sleep, laying still - laying on the back, is one of the most powerful meditation methods for sure, it's pretty difficult though.
  19. This is pretty cool, I see David Spero as one of the highest most advanced teachers as well, and he has a lot of synchronistic connection with Adi Da. David Spero was born in Rhode Island, close to NYC where Adi Da was born. David Spero sometimes mentioned himself to be an avatar as well, one of the few teachers who does so, you can say it's saying yourself to be special, which they are, but it also means going through the stages very quickly, being very mature or developed at birth, even spiritually in experiences. But aside from this, funnily enough, in teaching style or personality wise, they are like complete opposites. Adi Da loved being a leader, an authority, being hard at times, strict on the process and discipline. David Spero is all about chillness, relaxing, beauty, being sweet, stated he hates stating things authoritatively. https://www.davidspero.org/about-david-spero
