Look, reading is essential, you can’t skip it. Many successful people have a reading habit, they allocate time to read. If your friends avoid books, I don’t know. Everybody should mind their own business. Try to find people who read books. Besides, some illiterates can be rich, in a good position with other talents or chance. Meanwhile, reading is very passive, it is easy. Doing, on the other hand, is very active and needs courage, action. So also be careful. You need to go out, go to real life; instead of sitting at your house and reading books.

10x better life, I just say wow! Your friend warns you, because he cares you. He may think Leo’s program is a scam. It is his point of view, respect it, if you want him to respect your ideas. It is very easy to kick a friend out your life. But draw the line. When we are young we are more sure of everything(it is a kind of fake confidence), so we stick to some people and some ideas, we conflict our friends and family. But when we turn 30, we learn importance of family and teenage friends. Sometimes Leo can be wrong or you can misinterpret him. I am listening his videos, but I don't agree with him all the time. Like you criticised your friend, I think you can criticise Leo and yourself. Good luck..

two quotes for you: Don't run away from situations and don't avoid what could be a problem, instead face them with courage and resolve them. If your happiness depends on somebody else does, then you will never be happy really (A. P. Ray).

Hi guys, My uncle came to my house, and now he is staying with me. He moved to my city and found a job. Actually we don't have any close relation with him. However, at the beginning I said to him “welcome to my house”, he stayed 1 day, 2 days, 3 days, 4 days… I don't like him and I also feel sorry for him. Because he is around his 50's and he lives like a looser. He is just a selfish bastard. He never helps anyone, even himself. He has a very bad life, changed many jobs, moved many cities, bankrupted many times, lived as an alcoholic etc. I don’t like to fire my uncle from home. But I have to do this.

Hi guys, I have a project but I am very frustrated and overwhelmed. It is a difficult project, it contains statistics (I am not good at math) and teamwork(I am very introverted); but the matter is I am not actually interested in this project. Why am I in? Because I made a logical decision and chose this project, I have some benefits but it is not my passion. Now, my motivation is very low to progress. Yesterday, I smacked and punched myself and said “I am stupid, stupid, stupid…” The worst of all is to convince myself that I can do it, but I just waste my time and energy. I hate my logical decisions… But now, I have to finish this project…

Thank you for all replies. I convinced myself that I can do it, I told myself that it is science, everyone can learn everything, don’t procrastinate, you did good things in your life, this project will finish soon, don’t give up, be persist, stop nagging, don’t waste your time, just do your work etc... This kind of thoughts helped me, but only 1-2 days, after that I was frustrated again. I used Pomodoro techniques to focus, made plans, set goals; I rewarded myself. Now, I am really fed up with hacking my brain all the time. Some days I couldn’t work even 15 minutes. I am really indifferent to this project. I am just playing computer games, wasting my time. And my last week to submit..

As Leo said this week’s video, it is good to have confusion. You developed, now it is time to start moving one step forward. Everyone is not similar. Each one of us is different in one or the other way. Personal development videos or books only generalize, but you should find your way. It is authenticity. Maybe you have some other problems, priorities or wishes etc. For example me, I like to go gym but I am not fond of meditation. Other guy is a sportsman, he works out every day. Another one hates sports, he is overweight and has an unhealthy lifestyle; but he is one of the best musician in the world. be more intuitive

OCD may be an avoidance mechanism. I mean, when someone avoids "real problems" or real life, his/her brain can focus on compulsive thoughts. We can have some problems, like money problems, emotional problems, some regrets, loneliness or something deeper. It is not easy to be aware of these, sometimes it is hard to face problems. So our brain tricks us, instead of focusing on real problems we have ocd.

My girlfriend has serious problems, like unemployment and divorce. They are not emotional problems, I think they are "real problems". She got a report today and her daughter can be taken to the orphange (or her father). Of course, she is afraid of losing her child. We also live in different countries(another problem). We lived together 6 months and then I moved. How can I support her in this situation? How can you handle this kind of serious problems?

@John Flores No, thank you for the answer.

I run out of energy the end of the day, and just like everyone else, I encounter some problems in my daily life - problems at work, on the street, or with colleagues; we have many potential sources of stress in modern life. And sometimes I give up; I lose my self-control and do exactly the opposite of what I should. I start to eat garbage junk food, spend time on the Internet, check the news, etc. And finally I feel guilty. These issues are dragging my life down. For this reason, I realized that I need a break. In order to refresh my body, I need some fun and some joy. But I don’t know how I can make better use of my leisure time. Sometimes I feel really fed up with “plans” and think that I don’t want to plan out all my leisure activities. We should also have unplanned random activities to enjoy ourselves (goalless activity). I observed that leaders in society never work too much and in fact, some of them are really lazy. They save up their energy and use it only when needed. So, they are always fresh to fight. They are more emotional, more spontaneous, and usually more relaxed. But a neurotic is always in panic and he/she is always out of energy, exhausted and depressed. I think my motivation is not neurotic form of motivation, it is healthy, authentic motivation. What is your suggestions for free time?

It is normal to feel bad, you are not a machine or a robot. Before breaking up, men cannot see the problems of relation, maybe they feel some troubles, but they tend to think "it is okay". Generally, women can see and they take action. And it is time to break up..

Beyond anxiety... When I had my first and last panic attack two years ago, I noticed that I overloaded myself too much information. I was reading, I was listening to podcasts on the bus, I was always busy with this topic, that topic... My brain was really overloeded with problems, solutions, and information. Then, I stopped myself (or I had to stop) Now, I am more selective about information that I get and I ignore something. I totally agree, you need practice whatever you learn. I think it is dangerous, go out, and spend time with real people and real life. Share your information with others, talk them. Enjoy your life..

If you have negative motivation(if your motivation comes from outside), you procrastinate. If you need something, you procrastinate so much. If you want something, you just do it.

Thanks quantum. I am not in favour of meditation. If cooking, cleaning, washing dishes, listening to music etc. are a kind of meditation, I meditate. That's all. I usually would rather watch informative videos like documentaries, some important movies (like oscar nominates in 2015) or some series.

Thank you for the replies. I do exercise, read books and listen to Leo. And, I am not ready for meditaion and I don't think to meditate. I meant, what are you doing after exercise? You are tired, and you want to relax. Anyway, I think I watch some tv, play computer games etc. We also need entertainment..
