  1. Because we think we can die. The funny thing that when you discover you can't die You will want to create/savour life even more @Loreena That can happens too, but for most people living in the west, they come out of this phase.
  2. Do you guys know a meditation technique that is specialize in silence ? What I mean by that, is a meditation that makes your mind shuts off really hardcore.
  3. Well, I was talking to people who found their life purpose. Of course don't go all the way if you can sense that your ego is bullshitting you and it feels inauthentic as fuck @Loreena I'll come next year whether you want it or not :3
  4. INTJ, But my advice here would be to not get caught into this labelization of your psychee. Read about it a bit, and have some ahah moment, but DON'T identify with it. Mostly because we all have some traumas or at least some blockages that makes us act in ways we wouldn't if they weren't there (even if we aren't conscious of them right now). There is also the fact that when you age, you tend to go toward the middleground of the spectrum, this isn't necessarily set in stone. Also because any kind of identification (even if it's correct) is a way to block you into your spiritual realization. Any belief whatsoever actually. You could be INTJ and switch to 2 or 3 other similar personality in several years, or even switch from an Introvert to an extrovert (or the inverse) because you were so unauthentic all your life that you didn't even know your predominance (energized by social interaction - drained by social interaction). @LowPlanetary It isn't rare on a forum, especially this one, because people who are into self-developement needs to be able to introspect themselves. Extrovert usually never learn to do that, it isn't in their nature.
  5. It feels amazing and terrible at the beginning, at some point the amazingness is prevalent when you find your new friends circle/totally adjust to this new lifestyle. You're chasing it because you think you will find completion through it, inconsciously, since you seem to be perplex. Completion can only be realized through spiritual work, because what we chase is the reunification with the Absolute, which is already the case, ironically. That's the root cause of every addiction, you really REALLY think you'll find what you need in the end, for most people you only see this is bullshit when you got ALL what you think you needed (which of course is rare). So you're kind of lucky to already realized that it's all bullshit now, it's a blessing really
  6. I'm the girl in the bedroom, I like it rough :3
  7. Long distance relationship works quite right if you want to though. Just look at Loreena and me, perfect couple, perfect love :3
  8. If you get triggered by watching this You're doing it wrong.
  9. I'm just talking about being still, how is that a belief ? You don't need to believe anything to do that, just take a deep breath and ask yourself "what's gonna be my next thought" and wait. The gap between the thoughts is what I'm talking about, this is not my view of the truth, it is truth ...
  10. Because silence brings all your problems at the surface. And problems means emotional turmoil. @mikeyy It's just plain inconsciousness, there is nothing to be shocked of, it's just how life is.
  11. Without beliefs, the ego can't run your life ... Truth doesn't need to be asserted, truth is obvious when you realize it, there is no need to think about it ... Truth is just presence/beingness/awareness, and anyone can realize that, there is no need to do anything. @Dodoster If you believe in something you can create in this world, and if you think that's gonna help people, this is coming from Truth itself. Again, you don't have to constantly assert it in your mind, you KNOW you have to do it, there is no doubt about it, so why thinking about it ?
  12. Why can't you be enlightened right fucking now ?! Ask yourself this question. Watch your mind coming up with some excuses. Don't buy into these excuses. ... PROFIT !
  13. Reading this book with an extremely open-minded attitude:
  14. If you too were together for a long time, and have to separate for a definite frame of time, why not, But why start a relationship that can't even be considered as a relationship in the first place ? If you ask yourself this question enough, and if you're honest with yourself, you'll find out why. Hint: You're not gonna like the answer.
  15. Did you realize that this post doesn't imply any answer coming from anyone ? So why do you feel the need to answer a question that wasn't even asked ?
  16. Who wants it ? Why does that thing thinks it needs to obtain something ? Is there anything to obtain ? Why do I need something ? If everything is already one, how could I be separate from it ? If everything is already one, how could I think I'm separate from it ?
  17. There is different types of awakeningq, it is very well explained in one of Adyashanti video (not the one that was linked here). Basically there is 3: - Mind expansion: When you just become extremely spacious and you don't give a shit about everything anymore. - Love expansion: When you see everything as you and you love unconditionally. - Don't remembe the last ^^ So, it is normal, especially if it was a temporary awakening, because if you're still in the egotic paradigm, it is almost always like you described
  18. There is two ways to see this: The neurotic approach, where you HAVE TO be successful/have lots of money, have the trophy wife/perfect husband, be funny/have a great body in order to be happy (which never happens, because there is always more ...). This is the lack of inner work which tends to fuck you in the ass, because you're inconscious of your true nature. The "whatever happens" approach, I will enjoy life at its fullest, by following my bliss/intuition and sharing my love of life with others along the way. This approach can only be lived if you did some inner work (with or without spiritual knowledge).
  19. I stopped reading when the dude say that I should hear the voice in my head that said that sex is bad. Sex isn't bad, it's all the bullshit in our head that makes it bad.
  20. It won't be as hard as you might think guys, because wet dreams will occur regularly. Maybe not the first time you start, because you will be very focused on not doing it, but when you are out of the addiction, I guess your mind is open to it and will let the fluid out while having wet dreams (that's my take on it, maybe totally wrong). Unless you're a Zen master, you'll cum anyway, so it won't be that hardcore. At first it will be hard, because you'll have to go out of your porn and masturbation addiction, and since most guys relapse, it can take months, after that it will be easy as fuck, and at some point you won't even think of it anymore. Don't give up though, being free of porn and the craving of masturbation is very freeing, one of the best thing that happened in my life besides stopping my identification with thoughts.
