I don't find that to be true anymore. Sure I'm aroused from a really hot woman, but if she isn't extremely conscious, a relationship is out of the question. It's just not enough, there needs to be way more than just a nice body for having romantic feelings.

It feels good, even if you do it without an agenda (especially if you do it without an agenda). If you want to be happy, you have to help (in whatever way you genuinely love to do it), Being selfish can't bring happiness, because on the big picture it's a part of the whole refusing to help another, It may work on shallow and gross ways, like excitement (trying new or extreme experiences) or pure hedonistic pleasure (sex/food/drugs of any kind), but this only works for a short period of time and needs constant maintenance (therefore why almost no one is constantly happy). If you do help, for real, whenever you can, then you'll feel at peace and content all the time. This is very counter intuitive though, because we think if we give we lose something, but this couldn't be further from the truth.

Learn how to have lucid dream and inquire this within them. Not saying it is the same (I don't know), but I have a gut feeling that it's really really close.

The thing you don't seem to understand, is that most people won't get that until they suceed to get what they think it will make them happy. It's not because you're a spiritual geniuse that everyone is, otherwise we would live in a total different reality.

True, But in practice, such beliefs about sex/relationships are very deep seated in your inconscious mind. It is not enough to see it is a belief, that's just the first step. The real transcendence happens when you get the experience while having the knowledge of it being a belief. You might suceed to supress it enough to not see the influence it has on your life, but it is still there in the background, waiting to be purged.

If sex is not something you need, then why do you try to purify yourself from it ?

And what is this purification about ? Sex is a natural phenomenon, like everything else. We're animals, just with less fur and more sophisticated hobbies, but animals nonetheless. It's not about supressing or not having sex, it's about transcending the need for it, because until you transcend the need for something, there is always the possibility to become addict to it and let it direct your life. This can't be done by simply abstaining from it, most of the time you need to go deep in it while being fully conscious, and then with time you can transcend it. The difference is that you have the choice to do or not do something you've transcended, it doesn't mean you don't enjoy it and will never do it again.

The fact that you use non duality as an argument and try to influence people with it makes me wonder if you have genuinely gone beyond the need for sex. Imo if you did you would understand by experience that you can't go beyond something you didn t experience first. Not saying it isn't possible, but I think you're fooling yourself here.
