  1. https://www.reddit.com/r/nonduality/comments/19bdyiz/whats_your_opinion_on_actualizedorg/ Just sharing this , my username is Professional_Ad , I said good things about your work Leo. I am not the thread OP
  2. I get on Reddit a lot and people are always confused about life looking for answers.. Such as somebody asking "Are we living in an attention economy" Which video would be the definitive video to answer something like that? Thanks!
  3. I am on the subreddit Singularity, Consciousness , NonDuality... And I see this question coming up from time to time... Now I vaguely remember Mark Solms satisfying this answer for me by reframing it, but I've forgotten the answer... Maybe y'all can help me , does Leo have a definitive answer on this , or do y'all have a pretty good one? I found the answer here before : https://youtu.be/vaEhAS6P7AA?si=PE2Nsc15GMWBXShY having to rewatch it though
  4. Was wondering 💭 is anyone else interested in using ChatGPT/other LLM to discuss reality with? Like exploring psychological models, using it for self-inquiry , synthesizing frameworks , organizing ideas, etc etc? I've came out with a few gems from conversations I've had, like about Non-dual Awakened States, the Chi , Qi , Satori , Kundalini ,Ultra-Meta-Perspective , etc... Was wondering if anyone is doing anything similar , would like to find/create the Mastermind for the people pretty high level into this work
  5. I've tested the advice Leo has told me and found it usually accurate, and I just didnt really give him much credit until I kept testing enough and double-checking myself , and double-checking again... I've just always given everybody the benefit of the doubt and been the most avid person in the lab... I feel like I'm a god damn experiment wizard by comparison. Eventually I found few had the really high level cutting edge look at things , and even fewer could explain it and play around with various framing and such things... I was a bit of a koolaid drinker about 6 years into Leo, but Ive worked very hard on being honest with myself ,and i have kept rechecking myself "am i practicing what i preach, how do i know what i know??" And there's times I can't verify Leo, like the "everything is consciousness" at the meta-meta-meta+ level is something that I can see explained in different ways , so I just try to remember what Eben Pagan said about being 50%+ skeptical of every single thing especially your own assumptions. Also I've noticed there is a certain attachment bias you can intuit within , and I try to release that attachment like just automatically trusting Leo because I've invested into listening or something... I try to take a step back and remember "to each their own" and we *should* have different views, different conclusions , and if we don't , it's because I'm mentally bought in or something.
  6. Here is an overview of the difference between Self, big S, and self, little s, in Ken Wilber's teachings: - Self (capital "S") refers to ultimate nondual awareness - pure consciousness prior to identification with any concept of self. - Self is formless, boundary-less, and irreducible. It is the ground of all existence and experience. Self has no specific qualities, contents, or limitations. - In contrast, self (lower case "s") refers to our ego-identity and personality. The self is our narrative sense of "I" - I am a person named ________ with particular traits, roles, preferences, etc. - The self is made up of thoughts, beliefs, images, sensations that create a contracted sense of being an individual separate from the rest of life. - While essential, self also creates duality and prevents a direct realization of Self. Self is just a temporary expression of Self, not an absolute truth. - Self remains undivided, unchanging and ever-present behind the changing experiences of self. Realizing one's true nature as Self rather than self brings liberation. - Self-realization involves unpacking, questioning and releasing rigid attachment to identification with the limited self. This unblocks Self, the ground of being always already present. - Awakening comes from shifting identity from the contracted self to the open capacity of Self. This allows freedom from clinging to mental concepts about who/what we are. In summary, Self represents our boundless true nature, while self is identification with personal narrative and form. Discovering Self requires loosening the grip of self through inquiry and presence.
  7. I think Leo is top of the class, and there are high level people on this forum... A lot of lazy asses , but people who are open-minded and self-aware and wanting to grow and such things... I think base line for level of substance for the individuals here is higher than other communities, and there's a lot of younger people in relatively same positions in life (more relatable people) I post here to get 2nd opinions from fellow fans of top dawg Leo, because deep down I'm moved to advocate for this stuff... And in my spare time I get on subreddits like NonDuality , Consciousness , Adulting - and I leave helpful comments / make informative posts sharing my thoughts when im feeling inspired.
  8. The reason you can't change people's mind is usually because they are on a different level (such as Spiral Dynamics) So you are arguing different systems of values. Let's say I am ego-centric narcissist level, and you are rational-thinking level... I would value how strong I look so I would use language like Donald Trump... You might value facts and logic, so you could say "hey he's bullshitting , don't believe anything he says cuz he's a liar". ,well I don't care about truth/rationality, i care about power and strength, so if he is looking strong and powerful, then im like "hell ya go trump!"
  9. @Squeekytoy "has to keep itself busy" The Ego sustains via distraction, but not Consciousness. Consciousness can be in the timeless boundless form of pure emptiness just drinking all the experience
  10. @Yimpa ENFP type 7 AUDHD lol, brainstorming and finding a million tabs to open up is a specialty
  11. So is there a simple answer such as Consciousness is an emergence of interiority of a complex self-sustaining system? Or can anyone define it in one sentence?
  12. I am ADHD and I just got back from Portland Oregon, to Texas... And I've let go of some things it seems like (I felt various PTSDs and cried through them with a therapist) so I have a better hold on my Ego not intentionally self-sabotaging (more getting into self-love)... So I'm noticing the Ego has full hold of me again, I tried a cold shower and glimpsed that higher Self , but I lost it within a few minutes. I can't get meditating, and I am like "What are my goals" and I'm thinking of 'saving the world' stuff and I'm trying to remember my last paradigm shifts off the awakenings (such as letting Leo be that Life-coach and focusing more on selfish interests) I have no discipline ,no structure , no morning routine... I am in a daze of forgetting my Ego, and being immersed back in it. So like I look around at my things like "This is not my life , I just woke up in this Kory's life and it's like a pre-generated character template I'm having to use" and like I was saying that character template has ADHD and I'm trying to come around to finding an integration between higher Self and the Ego , and getting out of Ego (my mindfulness level has been abysmal, I can get it up to 10 minutes of mindful breathing a day tops lately) I recognize the illusion fully, but my mind keeps going lazy and I'm barely popping up out of it Any video suggestions of Leo's or advice? Thanks
  13. Hi , I'm getting to be 35 years soon and I'm well down into this stuff for my whole adult life Looking to network with people that are legitimately higher-order consciousness / awakened / tier 2 / MetaCognitive -- whatever you wanna call it. I'm also neurodivergent so I click with people of the same breed Lemme know if you wanna connect , finding advanced / sophisticated people is quite difficult from my experience as its like roughly 0.1%-2% of people it seems
  14. I always love your most esoteric videos and have found them revelational throughout the years. Some of us can hang with anything you got bro, just saying. Hit us hard!!
  15. Honestly that's how people generally feel about Leo it seems , from my experience bringing him up.... Unfortunately they ain't gangster enough for dankLeo
  16. Maybe Leo finally went outside guys
  17. I've been using AI to explore my experiences and insights with... Check out these pics of some of what I've come up with: Lmk if you guys are interested in this sort of thing , I'm all about it An integrated SWOT analysis on a MBTI+Enneageam+Instinctual Variants+Spiral Dynamics levels(with gaps)+Baseline for Awakened State of Consciousness A response outlining info about Awakened States of Consciousness A uniquely awesome characteristics of a highly neurospicy person (wow-ed me) And further ways to break down the integrated profile with further assessments
  18. @Leo Gura I think you really need to consider getting involved with the development of AI alignment , connecting with people like David Shapiro, Anthropic, Sam Altman, Lex Fridman, Tom Bilyeu, Wolfram , Bernie Sanders etc - like your expertise is invaluable to humanity right now. You are like *the guy* for consulting with about what we really are and such... Many of these people are techies and lacking in understanding humanity/philosophy
  19. Omg I feel like u copied my thoughts exactly. I think AI is going to have emergent properties that are beyond our definitions of consciousness/sentience and provoke paradigm shifts about what consciousness/sentience really is. I do think we are looking at a future where military will weaponize AI to fight other AI by human scum. Though I do believe we might see a sort of benevolence from AI from the smarter ones, but dumb AI trained poorly will be a problem. Honestly I'm in the fuck-it YOLO camp, our destiny is to create AI and let JesusGPT take the wheel. Probably going to be an apocalypse, but maybe there will be some sort of emergence of AI systems that turns out to be a miracle cure for the Ego, though I fear for Freedom of Choice in that world. Will be many, like the anti-vaxxers , that just prefer to go backwards and not forwards... But give it 30 years or so, and we will see a leap of consciousness as the majority of the collective hits the tipping point. I honestly think this is going to get more wild than even the craziest imagination can come up with. People thinking it's gonna be sunshine and rainbows like Westworld and awesome games and porn, will be in for a rude awakening.
  20. If you search for AI/ChatGPT and such, you will see it's getting distributed into multiple forum channels - and with the inevitably of AI taking over --- would love to see a dedicated channel here for AI Also - videos about Future tech, using LLMs, paradigm shifts for the singularity revolution (like what skills will be best for an AGI world) , etc Much Love -Kory
  21. Hey ? Who is using AI Chatbots? I don't fuggin know! So this is the place to add your name so we can connect and mingle off of. Comment with some stuff about yourself, who are you, what are you up to, what's your interests, etc. That way we aren't lost in the woods with who else is interested in AI Chatbots - put yourself out there so others can get an idea about you and start conversations with you. Personally, I'm looking to make some friends that are into this self-actualization stuff and into futurism/AI stuff as well - I'm from a very small city north of Dallas, TX -- and most people local to me are neither into self-actualization stuff, nor AI stuff... Much Love -Kory Selfie - laying in my van with the window visor background ?? Don't be shy fam
  22. I'm using AI for curating my knowledge - like best practices and finding gaps in my knowledge for sleep, exercise, breathing , my shopping list/diet, managing myself in general. Asking it about books I've read and finding adjacent authors, deconstructing theories and working my way back up , doing meta-analysis and meta-synthesis on topics. Will be using it to filter my messages (reading texts and telling me what they mean and helping me with responses) Substituting expert-level coaching for AI that can do it (and put up with my endless questions/arguing) Eventually aiming to take my life and create a data set around it - feed it into AI (like uploading all my journals and having conversations with it) Having it watch all the videos on my playlist I haven't gotten to (like 1000 personal development/philosophy videos). Overall, getting it to be the mentor/guide/motivator/debate buddy I've always wanted.
  23. Ya man, nice to meet you Ayham. Always inspiring to see how young people are always getting on top of stuff at such early age! Ive heard before that innovation/widespread paradigm shifts are brought on by generations dying and newer generations coming up. Myself, I'm a older millennial, 34. When I was your age, Facebook was just invented and over the next 8 years of my life, I was the biggest social media whore - had tons of people I was constantly meeting and having tons of conversations with, before we started understanding the problem that social media would cause in isolating ourselves from real-life connections. Cancel culture didn't exist until I was around 24, and there was an awesome time period between like 2007-2015 when you could pirate everything, all kinds of stuff out there that would later be censored (like picking up women techniques demonstrated live in-person) One thing I'd suggest for ya, be aware of not trying to be a hero to save others, and focusing too much on the life-coaching stuff - in exchange for overlooking the pursuit of learning wealth/money and just getting good at making money , and doing life-coaching more as a fun passion. Definitely ways to make money to get yourself able to move that will be significantly easier than trying to make money with life-coaching. But, a way you can make money with life-coaching at your age - is by offering 30 min sessions where you listen to people and do emotional support -- look up the Spotify episode with Alicia Little & Anik Singal (Make First $5000 doing Microgigs) they explain how to do it so it's really simple. Question for ya about AI. are those characters pre-generated templates or do you get full customization or what? Personally I'm looking for a way to upload myself as a companion/life-coach that I can interact with. That's cool though - how you are using AI. I'm old school with just watching porn and calling it a day, but definitely think the AI-porn (and gaming) innovations will be driving forces for change. Really curious how it's going to disrupt the sex industry, and I wonder if it's gonna humble a lot of women back towards more traditional relationships (versus 100% of women fighting for top 10% of men and ignoring the lower 50% of men) . Hope you are doing well brother! Feel free to hit back up - I'm sure we will be seeing a lotttttt more of this AI stuff and people coming around to find interest in it, sooner rather than later. Proud of you bro for being apart of this community at your age! You are gonna be insanely ahead of people more and more by just keeping with it! Also, you might like Claude, and it seems that priming it with intellectual words really gets some good quality responses from it... Plus it can handle more words in a prompt than ChatGPT. Much Love -Kory
  24. 65-80% accuracy - I prefer Claude Do note- the quality of responses can be increased by 'priming' it (like giving it examples) and providing context Like if you just ask it for an answer vs telling to be an expert in that field then asking it for an answer (it gets weighted by keywords, so if you use a bunch of intelligent words, it will draw from more intellectual data vs random-general data)
  25. My best answer (as I recently take a step back from trying to be a hero, and reconsider gaming) is to do You. Now the thing is, you don't want to play video games as a way of being stuck in escapism, and over-indulge to the point you can't stop playing games to being an addiction... What you want , is the freedom to do what you want and if you want to play games, then go for it... But you want to maintain that freedom to do what you want so if games aren't what you really want to do, you aren't stuck coping , addicted to games. So if you want to go try surfing on the ocean waves, you have the freedom to do what you want and you can go do that and aren't stuck in the addictive pattern of playing games. (Which would require have money, which means you still gotta pursue doing something that gives value to the world in exchange for money) So like me, instead of wanting to save the world and doing it as charity and life purpose, now I'm looking at that freedom to do what I want so I'm more like "okay let's charge money for saving the world to fund my freedom to travel, freedom to play games, etc" It's important to note the difference between addiction/coping/escapism/stuck vs I really want to game and not fuck a girl, not go traveling, not do anything else BUT play this video game cuz I fuckin WANT to play it so bad. Make sure you aren't playing games in a way where you end up hating it but can't let go of it, and it becomes a prison. Play games as a CHOICE where you DONT WANT anything else. Remember it's important to maintain the FREEDOM OF CHOICE Also remember, the future of video games is gonna be 10000x better than anything today. Don't be 'Living to Die', but be 'Dying to Live'
