  1. I haven't got any Eastern favorites due to lack of looking... I have mainly learned from Tolle, David Hawkins, Alan Watts.. I try to be skeptical and look for the legendary tier gurus, like a high quality compliment to Leo's lessons
  2. I had a cool conversation with Claude about Awakened States of Consciousness , and distinctions between self and Self by Ken Wilber
  3. I was curious , because I have only watched like 15ish videos? There's so many! When I scan through the video list , I like the feeling of the good rich lessons I got from some of those videos there... Though it makes me sad that experience could feel so much richer if I had nuggets from all them... What's one video you have really liked , why was it cool to you?
  4. I love getting on live streams and chatting with folks... Like sometimes I am just vibing more with chat than really paying attention to what I'm watching... I know it can inappropriate at times , but don't you think it would be cool to have a live-chat session when you wanna sponsor a hangout session for us plebs Leo 🥺 pls think it over. For the Brotherhood. 😉♥️
  5. The Matrix is the Dualistic-thinking prison of Ego I ran this by Chat GPT earlier : In a philosophical sense, one could draw an analogy between the concept of the Matrix as a simulated reality and the idea of a dualistic prison of ego in reality. The Matrix, as described in the movie, represents a deceptive construct that keeps individuals unaware of a deeper truth. Similarly, the notion of a dualistic prison of ego suggests a state where individuals are bound by a limited sense of self and perception, often driven by ego-driven desires and attachments. Breaking free from this egoic prison might involve gaining a more profound understanding of oneself and the world. It's important to note that this analogy is metaphorical, as the Matrix is a fictional concept, while discussions about ego and perception in reality are rooted in various philosophical and psychological perspectives.
  6. The Matrix is the Dualistic-thinking prison of Ego... Escaping it: is to be present. I recommend Wim Hof cold and breathwork. There is a different sense of "Being" in a way that is in the most primal operating seat of the mind. Wim Hof method can get you into the driver seat...and then you use that reference experience while you try to be present /mindful throughout the day.... If you look at the opposite side of the Matrix, I'd say is "Heaven" the Enlightenment state of consciousness, which is like a "being in oneness with all" intensely present+positive floaty feeling So the "gateway to heaven" is the present moment... And my go-to is EXXHALLEEEEEEE the breath. Dump all air , and notice the mindfulness of the moment you are exhaling the remaining 30% ... You will notice , because you always stop around 70% and you just never realize your holding 30% of your air all the time..exhale the breath..exhale the breath I ran this by Chat GPT earlier : In a philosophical sense, one could draw an analogy between the concept of the Matrix as a simulated reality and the idea of a dualistic prison of ego in reality. 7. Well my Dad is an Atheist , engineer tech - pretty rational minded Team Science guy... Talks crap about religion for example... He believes in science..HE BELIEVES IN SCIENCE LIKE A DOGMA. He's worshipping science like a religious cult. The cult of science. I showed him the facts he said he would need to see.. he didn't pay any attention. GOOD FKIN LUCK 🤞
  8. I don't use third eye, but the cold shower whips my ass into surrendering... I started having fun with it, yesterday I pretended to ski down a mountain and close my eyes like hell yeah this is a blizzard!! Then today, I was imagining like singing some Rasputin to a girl and it was that cold Russia weather. Then I give myself a hot break like a reward, then it's like "bitch get your ass back in there" and my Ego is like 😢" no please" ... But I get out of that cold shower pretty freaking present. It's amazing.
  9. Where is the Chill Chat channel like they have on discord servers... Do an announcement 2 hours on Sunday. Leo you get on these videos saying You You You, I feel like you're asking to meet some of the seeds that got planted. The topic threads don't feel like they work for me trying to connect with other fellow sages here. But I think this is gotta be a gold-mine for untapped connections. I hate it brother.
  10. Just sharing one that personally changed my life was the one about People Pleasing and I remember realizing that I always sending people cool content and it was just Validation Seeking... It's crazy how bad I was doing it... I still remember the room I was in when I was trying to watch this video for the 3rd time in a week, lol
  11. Wanna take it a step further? Advanced Learning and Teaching Technologies mastercourse like $600 40 hour course (FOR FREE cuz this link has been up for like 10 years) It's by Eben Pagan which is a total OG-- like Leo had a mentor who was mentored by Pagan.... And Wyatt Woodsmall who is the mentor to Pagan... And Woodsmall is a Neurolinguistic Programming god-tier level expert. I've watched this various times over last decade , there is a pdf you can always check the summary (it's incredible!!) I think I'ma watch it again, it's soooo goooooddd!!!!! sadly I thought I have the video, i do not AUDIO: https://archive.org/details/advanced-learning-and-teaching-technologies-wyatt-woodsmall-eben-pagan PDF: https://www.scribd.com/document/83924927/00-Advanced-Learning-Teaching-Summaries
  12. The danger of Skepticism is the False-Skeptic who has been skeptic of their own self -bias
  13. Worth is relative. Pursue what is valuable to you. Suffering is caused by clinging to life Buddha says.
  14. I find my muse in the cold freezing shower. I had it super hot then like "the only escape is freezing cold" and I'm like fuuuu Jesus Christ save me! And I'm hitting my back with cold "its just sensation" I try to sing without cracking my voice, exhaling to try and find Nirvana It's like that scene from Dune where he is forced keep his hand in the box as the flesh melts , or die. Its like when that cold shower hits you, you can't think about all the bullshit you normally think about, you can only think of the pain. I let that shower humble me down like I want what's good for me... And blasting myself with ice cold would be best for me ... But I'm a little bitch and I'm gonna do like 1 min until I tap out .. I am still in the process of getting further with it, but what I shared has been my go-to , if I ever lose my muse. Even though I don't feel connected to Source really , I feel like that ice cold shower is a raw connection with Source like no-self being + something
  15. https://www.reddit.com/r/nonduality/comments/19bdyiz/whats_your_opinion_on_actualizedorg/ Just sharing this , my username is Professional_Ad , I said good things about your work Leo. I am not the thread OP
  16. I get on Reddit a lot and people are always confused about life looking for answers.. Such as somebody asking "Are we living in an attention economy" Which video would be the definitive video to answer something like that? Thanks!
  17. I am on the subreddit Singularity, Consciousness , NonDuality... And I see this question coming up from time to time... Now I vaguely remember Mark Solms satisfying this answer for me by reframing it, but I've forgotten the answer... Maybe y'all can help me , does Leo have a definitive answer on this , or do y'all have a pretty good one? I found the answer here before : https://youtu.be/vaEhAS6P7AA?si=PE2Nsc15GMWBXShY having to rewatch it though
  18. Was wondering 💭 is anyone else interested in using ChatGPT/other LLM to discuss reality with? Like exploring psychological models, using it for self-inquiry , synthesizing frameworks , organizing ideas, etc etc? I've came out with a few gems from conversations I've had, like about Non-dual Awakened States, the Chi , Qi , Satori , Kundalini ,Ultra-Meta-Perspective , etc... Was wondering if anyone is doing anything similar , would like to find/create the Mastermind for the people pretty high level into this work
  19. I've tested the advice Leo has told me and found it usually accurate, and I just didnt really give him much credit until I kept testing enough and double-checking myself , and double-checking again... I've just always given everybody the benefit of the doubt and been the most avid person in the lab... I feel like I'm a god damn experiment wizard by comparison. Eventually I found few had the really high level cutting edge look at things , and even fewer could explain it and play around with various framing and such things... I was a bit of a koolaid drinker about 6 years into Leo, but Ive worked very hard on being honest with myself ,and i have kept rechecking myself "am i practicing what i preach, how do i know what i know??" And there's times I can't verify Leo, like the "everything is consciousness" at the meta-meta-meta+ level is something that I can see explained in different ways , so I just try to remember what Eben Pagan said about being 50%+ skeptical of every single thing especially your own assumptions. Also I've noticed there is a certain attachment bias you can intuit within , and I try to release that attachment like just automatically trusting Leo because I've invested into listening or something... I try to take a step back and remember "to each their own" and we *should* have different views, different conclusions , and if we don't , it's because I'm mentally bought in or something.
  20. Here is an overview of the difference between Self, big S, and self, little s, in Ken Wilber's teachings: - Self (capital "S") refers to ultimate nondual awareness - pure consciousness prior to identification with any concept of self. - Self is formless, boundary-less, and irreducible. It is the ground of all existence and experience. Self has no specific qualities, contents, or limitations. - In contrast, self (lower case "s") refers to our ego-identity and personality. The self is our narrative sense of "I" - I am a person named ________ with particular traits, roles, preferences, etc. - The self is made up of thoughts, beliefs, images, sensations that create a contracted sense of being an individual separate from the rest of life. - While essential, self also creates duality and prevents a direct realization of Self. Self is just a temporary expression of Self, not an absolute truth. - Self remains undivided, unchanging and ever-present behind the changing experiences of self. Realizing one's true nature as Self rather than self brings liberation. - Self-realization involves unpacking, questioning and releasing rigid attachment to identification with the limited self. This unblocks Self, the ground of being always already present. - Awakening comes from shifting identity from the contracted self to the open capacity of Self. This allows freedom from clinging to mental concepts about who/what we are. In summary, Self represents our boundless true nature, while self is identification with personal narrative and form. Discovering Self requires loosening the grip of self through inquiry and presence.
  21. I think Leo is top of the class, and there are high level people on this forum... A lot of lazy asses , but people who are open-minded and self-aware and wanting to grow and such things... I think base line for level of substance for the individuals here is higher than other communities, and there's a lot of younger people in relatively same positions in life (more relatable people) I post here to get 2nd opinions from fellow fans of top dawg Leo, because deep down I'm moved to advocate for this stuff... And in my spare time I get on subreddits like NonDuality , Consciousness , Adulting - and I leave helpful comments / make informative posts sharing my thoughts when im feeling inspired.
  22. The reason you can't change people's mind is usually because they are on a different level (such as Spiral Dynamics) So you are arguing different systems of values. Let's say I am ego-centric narcissist level, and you are rational-thinking level... I would value how strong I look so I would use language like Donald Trump... You might value facts and logic, so you could say "hey he's bullshitting , don't believe anything he says cuz he's a liar". ,well I don't care about truth/rationality, i care about power and strength, so if he is looking strong and powerful, then im like "hell ya go trump!"
  23. @Squeekytoy "has to keep itself busy" The Ego sustains via distraction, but not Consciousness. Consciousness can be in the timeless boundless form of pure emptiness just drinking all the experience
  24. @Yimpa ENFP type 7 AUDHD lol, brainstorming and finding a million tabs to open up is a specialty
  25. So is there a simple answer such as Consciousness is an emergence of interiority of a complex self-sustaining system? Or can anyone define it in one sentence?
