Questioning reality isn’t that useful. Fame, sex, money, entertainment — these are more appealing pursuits for humanity as a whole. Besides, survival demands pragmatism, not contemplation. Revisiting deeply held assumptions is inefficient. The mind is pretty efficient. By default, it won’t waste time with already established “knowledge”, unless moved in that direction deliberately.

Taking lack of meaning as a negative implies you’re still operating from a meaning paradigm! Try to see it not in terms of positive or negative, but as something existential. Meaning is invented and applied, not inherent. Create a positive and ambitious purpose for yourself to ground your life on. Whatever you think is worth it, do that. Meaninglessness may be true, but holding it as cynicism is missing the point. —— You can think of it as the following: Life transcends meaning! You’re free to create whatever meaning you want. Make it a conscious, empowering one for yourself, if you want.

See if you can simply stop that reaction. Be willing to experience whatever the fear relates to, or stop creating the possibility of a future. By necessity, this will eliminate fear. Try to see the experience as it is.

Cool. Are you conscious of your true nature now? Have you noticed any change in your self? That is, have you dropped ineffective or disempowering “stuff” that you were carrying (behavior patterns, identifications, etc.)?

People all too easily surrender their sense of responsibility and start blindly following the expert. That said, you can learn from others and contemplate for yourself, so no contradiction there.

Buddhism is a belief system, and models are not true. Truth is a pathless land, as Krishnamurti said. It can, however, help to study different traditions. You can get guidance and inspiration, but don’t get stuck in any one of them. Honesty is one of the most powerful tools, not belief.

Maybe anxiety, poor sleep, excessive internet/devices use. Training your brain is useful. Read books for long stretches of time with no interruptions. Fasting, dopamine detox, etc. Build up your concentration. Reduce distractions. Sleep well. Eat very clean. Relax. Exercise. I sympathize with your situation. Going through something similar.

Boredom is arrogance. It’s assuming you have everything figured out. This prevents openness. Just a consideration.

Showing oneself vulnerable will be considered as a weakness by many, no matter what. Perhaps it’s wiser not to open oneself up around close-minded, immature people. The point is, you’re open and the rest (how they look at you, etc.) is up to others. You can be vulnerable and confident. Consider that so-called strong people are afraid of showing themselves vulnerable. It’s a mask, useful in the domain of social survival as a manipulative mechanism. On the other hand, it’s deeply uncomfortable being vulnerable, and requires huge amounts of awareness, courage, and maturity. Classic dilemma: Being authentic, open and honest, or; Faking stuff in order to get the lollipop (validation, acceptance, admiration, getting others to think of you the way you want them to, etc.) The former may be challenging while the latter much easier and effective for collecting lollipops. But then again, the former will increase your integrity, confidence, self-steem, vitality, and presence over time.

The more popular the content, the less honest, generally speaking. For example, take a look at Leo’s content over the years. His deepest, most authentic content isn't as popular as the more pragmatic, superficial videos. In business: How do you balance between authenticity and using hype and superficiality? What are some effective principles you follow in your business? How would you market and sell content that is profound, authentic and raw without sacrificing its spirit or substance? My issue seems to boil down to communication vs manipulation.
