  1. Hey Leo! Your confusion at the end I think is because you use the words 'consciousness' and 'awareness' interchangeably. Yes, it's all made up of 'no-'thing'ness/ a substance that can be anything/consciousness, if you will. Awareness, however, I see as "how accurate you see what IS, as it is; how much CLARITY one has. Why you struggled to explain 'How can they be different levels of consciousness?', is because you give both words the same meaning. Consciousness/no-thingness is the substance. Awareness, is the degree of accurate perception you have of reality, of existence, of the 'cosmic Magic!', if you will. Now THAT is what can be developed! 'Awareness', your clarity, not 'Consciousness'. The substance of which it (existence/creation/reality) is made just is what it is; there is no levels to that, only to Clarity/Awareness. How vigilant are you? How much are you aware of? Also, only certain 'entities', created by this 'substance'/consciousness/nothingness, has the attributes, the capacity, to become aware; Like our entity the 'human being'. A rock, on the other hand, doesn't have the attributes.
  2. Hey Leo, how would you rate Seth Godin's 'All Marketers are Lairs' rating on the scale in your book list. What happen is i'm a student who saves to by these books so i only buy the ones right now in the field of what i want to do with my life (involves marketing) and books for my self actualizing journey. How insightful would you say's this one?
  3. @Leo Gura "Whatever Arises, Love That" by Matt Kahn. SUPERR POWERFUL AND TRANSFORMATIONAL!!
  4. ... And by that i mean only when your stomach feels empty, like little insects nibbling inside of it haha
  5. This is crazy!! but what made you smoke a cigarette with so much awareness present?
  6. A person’s personality is a reflection of who they are. Their attitude towards you is a reflection of how you are showing up in their life. If you act like a person of value and see yourself as having value, you’ll never agree to terms that diminish your value in your eyes, or theirs. If anyone treats you or tries to treat you like you do not matter or are not very valuable to them, then you must let them go and move on to find someone who appreciates you. Allowing othe...rs to disrespect you or take you for granted enables and invites their continued mistreatment. This also lowers their level of respect for you. It is impossible for people to love you when they do not respect you. True love is freedom. Love for yourself means you simply will not stick around or let other people stick around in your life who try to diminish your magnificence in any way. Give people the permanent gift of missing you when they demonstrate disrespectful and devaluing behavior towards you.” ~ Coach Corey Wayne
  7. I am not sure if you have read the book, but if you have, I would like to know if this is also manipulating women? I find it really helps you understand women at a profound level. But if we *men* do the things the book teaches to do to 'keep your women interested/attract women/have a woman in love with you' ; is this also manipulative?
  8. Man the same exact thing is happening to me! It feels good, like I feel good, very at peace with myself, but messed up when it comes to how I am with my friends now in terms of how emotionless I am becoming with people and my interactions with them, and then the things that are going on around me. I would be told some news that would be considered 'tragic' but it doesn't feel that way anymore, it's just 'whatever'. Just, too 'ire', it's like I am a sober stoner. lol Then girls, omg they aren't even the same. I literally do not give a shit anymore about 'trying to get or impress them'. It feels so good but at the same time so wrong, especially when I see my boys working their selves up over a girl. It's like "b! this really doesn't matter!!". But there are so many pros like: 1) I have no psychological dependencies whatsoever, 2) Picking up or talking to girls just becomes fun. *I literally can't care if I get through or not even if I try to*. And this blows my mind because I use to care soo much it was ridiculous! Just a few months ago. 3) My relationship with my friends changed in a good way. Well, on my part I should say. Lol. They might not like the change but, I don't even care. Because I am not living for them anyway. Honestly doesn't bother me now if I have them in my life or not. 4) People feel more comfortable around me because of how open minded I am, so they start telling me things they wouldn't share with anyone else usually. 5) I do whatever I feel like doing now without the 'what ifs' I had so much of before. I still get it every now and then but it isn't a big deal. It wouldn't hold me back like it would've before because I understand why it is happening. 6) What people think of me isn't a big deal anymore. Sometimes I still get caught up in it because I sometimes tend to look up to particular people and if they don't like something about me I would get offended or try to change it but when I become aware of what is happening am good again. It's something I have to keep reminding myself of. Like, no one is better than me, better than anyone I should say. We're all neutral. It isn't a bad thing though; what you are talking about, I don't think it is.
  9. It sometimes cross my mind, the possibility that enlightenment can just be a feature we human being's can achieve. We see it as a realization that we are not what we think we are, we aren't really the body, mind, just pure awareness of life etc. But what if we ARE who we are and that is just another thing we *us human's* can do, just very difficult to achieve. How it is said "when we die, it is just the 'body' breaking, but we aren't the body, so it isn't us that is dying" etc But my question is; What if, all of these things: the mind, emotions, the body, thoughts, enlightenment; are just all human features and we did not know it. Just enlightenment is just the highest state or stage of human consciousness. Like when we die, all of those features go as well. Could it be possible that we just die like how a mosquito or an ant dies? Well, how we would think an ant or mosquito dies. After all, none of us died before so how can we know? You know, just asking, what if?
  10. This is a great break down Jeff, I really appreciate this. I didn't understand the topic when Leo discussed it at such a profound level until you broke it down like this with the examples.
