Context - I went to speakers corner this week on a day trip to London. My friend encouraged me to speak to a Muslim speaker, because he himself watches him and vouched for him I decided to do so. At first I was hesitant I didn't have anything I wanted to ask him from the heart. Agreed temporarily. I don't seek validation right now because I am not where I dream to be. So I agree. Temporarily ~ because when I am where I dream to be I will be recognised so it comes hand in hand. If you took that recognition away when I am in my dream state would I care, I don't think so because I'd work to get it again so no.

Being an alpha

I can talk about my success in getting strong power lifting numbers and growing from following my bodybuilding programme. I successfully achieved mediocre results because I stayed committed. I haven't successfully achieved mediocre results in my business and I don't know why.

I am using Linux now and my 14 year old cousin installed it for me because my laptop kept crashing and he told me this would help, it did. Everytime I boot the laptop Linux keeps asking me for an authentication key which sucks. On windows whenever I closed Edge it did not log me out of my google accounts, solved this using Chrome on Linux. I tried downloading a screen dimmer for Linux and I have no idea how to install the software after the download it gave me an error. Very technical to use but faster than windows.

@HopefulMan True what I said was true and impractical. Have you heard of Ziran? It's a taoist concept that can be understood in various ways because of Chinese text but in short. It says to go down the path of least resistance, maybe the best way for you to change during each circumstance while you are present is to take out the automatic behaviour, test your autonomy and if it is the path of least resistance yay? If it isn't , than go down the path of least resistance, see now if that is the same behaviour you want to rid of do what Leo says to do whilst giving his smoking example and just be completely present mid say doom-scroll. Wording is a bit choppy but hope that helps more than my previous pragmatic yet uninformal comment.

@YIDIRYIDIR I understand what you are now saying. That method only worked for me because I was Muslim and I had an underlying acceptance of Allah at that point so the method worked and I contribute that to where I am but that's flawed because I had already believed in Allah so if I had done it with Krishna or Jesus would that have worked too? It is a flawed method I can see why now. It doesn't really work for a non muslim asking Allah , or maybe it does I actually don't know.
