  2. yes, i've went to 60 sessions (3 rounds) changed my life. had severe ocd, which became moderate OCD after neuro and now I have mild OCD after PD work. this is by far the number 1 fucking thing i advocate for everyone to do. cured my friends migraines and it cured my sisters anxiety problems
  3. Leo, If you were back at 22 now, but with the knowledge you have now, how would you be structuring your life?
  4. Hey guys, just did a half-day meditation retreat. I'm not too experienced, but been doing do-nothing for 25-30 mins a day for the past couple months. I also don't really look into enlightenment theory too much, but I'm doing the practices. If you guys don't mind answering my questions that would be awesome This retreat I did sitting vipassana - 1h walking in nature with labeling - 1h sitting vipassana - 1h walking in nature with labeling - 1h sitting vipassana - 20 mins Questions: 1) When you have a thought process: I label hear and just observe the thought process Sometimes the thought process can go on for 20 + seconds, what do I do. Leo says the cycles are about 7 seconds so do I stop the cycle and focus on something else or do I re-label / wait for another phenomena? 2) Also, I'm confused because Leo said if there's a short phenomena, replay it. "Like if it's a machine gun round, just replay the last bullet". So if I hear a car for 2 seconds, do I replay the last second or replay the whole sound? And if I have a short thought like "I like that", do I replay "that" or the whole sentence? And if I replay it do I replay the word/sentence for the full 7 seconds? And the car sound repeatedly for 7 seconds? Because he said this is done in 7 second cycles. 3) Another thing is I literally could not wait til it was over and I repeatedly wanted to get out and do something else. I kept looking at the clock and when it was over I was like "thank god" Yawning and wanting to sleep was pretty common. I also got a bit horny as well. What do I do about this? 4) Whenever I do SDS, I get this intense, overwhelming experience that takes over my legs and arms. It usually happens at the 10-15 min of the sit and it's like this overwhelming pain that lasts for 5 seconds. The come up is very scary and the come down is very uncomfortable. However, when I move the pain stops. Sometimes it gets too unbearable and I have to break the SDS. What is this? 5) I literally could not sit and wanted the meditation to end. I wanted nothing more than to do something else. How to reconcile this? 6) I felt so sleepy that I slept for an hour after the walking meditation. I also masturbated Thanks!
  5. Careful this can become a limiting belief People do wrong things with money, not money does wrong thing with people Love the action you're taking!
  6. people who believe the earth is flat do not have direct experience. people who went outside earth do. you are misunderstanding direct experience. for ex: in 1930s the general population had an opinion of science without having done the science themselves. einstein came in and proved the scientific community and the general public wrong. the general public had such strong beliefs in science, without having any direct experience of it. they had a wrong, strong opinion because of a lack of direct exp.
  7. @dude great one
  8. generally a lot of personal development topics are not accepted by the common person. id try to probe the level of consciousness with simple, easy ideas/questions and if they resonate, move forward
  9. @Leo Gura please close this thread, youve answered the question
  10. For fun, do an exercise brainstorming how you would get experience for the job you wanted but with no degree. The objective is that you have to build experience without a formal degree, and the resume looks good enough that you would be happily hired
  11. leo has a good ideas on judgement: see all criticism is untenable video and https://actualized.org/insights/profound-quotes-004
  12. get a good life coach. 100x better. because they are deeply into personal development
  13. leo said happiness is not a value because your values are what give you happiness
  14. unconditional acceptance I guess, because we can't change them I also think it varies person to person and their specific needs. But most people need to be shook and woken up from their matrix, into living their best life For me emotionally, I would say it's most important to show them the way out of 'suffering' and make it known they too can grow to the next stage (growth mindset)
  15. teal swan has a good video on it. take notes, contemplate, execute. i think its better than leo's vid on the topic
  16. awesome. step 1 done. whats step 2 and how do you get there?
  17. I would work on the parts that you feel need to be still learnt and worked on it may be a perfectionist thing to start from the beginning
  18. you can sell on any market from any country Popular ones are Germany, UK, USA India is on a super upward trend Small markets have less demand (but accompanied by less competition) USA has insanely high demand, but it also has most of the competition You can win in either market. I sell in USA but I'm intruiged by other markets because e-commerce still has a lot of room to grow there in those countries. Not to say there isn't a lot of room to grow in the usa though Amazon forwards the money you earn from each sale to your bank account
  19. yeah. you can do it with less, youll just go out of stock quickly because of lack of inventory and it hurts your ranking when you are out of stock and might be a tad bit more expensive. but doable for sure if you research well
  20. What are your top 10 values and perhaps a short description of what they mean to you This can be seen as an exercise as well
