  1. A strong reason would be that some people eventually have adverse affects to it and it is challenging to ween yourself off of it, as it can become an addiction
  2. @Leo Gura would love to know this too @joeyi99
  3. @Pernani Eben Pagan has a lot of great intro courses, both specific and general https://ebenpagantraining.com/
  4. This quote from sadhguru applied to me: "[Yoga] is not about becoming superhuman. But about realizing being human is super"
  5. What topic in business?
  6. The Work 6 Pillars of Self Esteem Matt Kahn
  7. I've found that a vision helps keep you motivated, focused and directed. Currently, I have a vision for my life. But it's not my supreme/ultimate vision I guess, and I'm altering it and changing it overtime as I learn new things. I believe it keeps you driven and motivated, even though it's not the perfect vision, but it keeps you moving to the desires that you currently want. So I'd say, make a vision now, but as you learn new things, optimize it
  8. Love it, I'll reflect on this. Would you say this is unconditional love or service type of love? Or both
  9. theres some truth to red pill. overall its not the truth i didnt have LMS nor did any of my friends when we got girlfriends (well at least not super high) its insanely more nuanced than red pill makes it to be
  10. @Leo Gura does the same apply to arbitrage?
  11. Yes I think so, he's made some interesting judgements on Leo before about Leo being a cult leader and his channel being just a long-form suicide note. they were really strange accusations, which led me to believe they were just projections. I don't believe he's coral, i don't know what that is but I do notice good amount of classic orange and resistance to green I liked some of his information and advice, I got some insights on SD from him (integrating lower stages) and I like the way he takes ownership of his life That's my honest analysis
  12. @Jack River learning = behavior change?
  13. Nathaniel Branden had moments even after writing many books on self-esteem where he really doubted himself Perfection is impossible. Even for the father of self-esteem Which makes sense. I eat everyday but sometimes I still choke on my food. Sometimes I still trip and fall when walking. Sometimes I stub my toe in a hallway where I've walked a million times. Sometimes I make mistakes when driving.
  14. "All of Brene Brown's books (Her books are very good to kick-start Green development)" Can vouch for this. Also she has a great talk with Lewis Howes that I recommend
  15. Value #2: Exposure to low consciousness makes you low conscious Videos, books, people Be careful I've noticed that me listening to low consciousness videos on YouTube, sets me for a low consciousness day Listening to high consciousness videos sets me to a more high consciousness day (in relation to whatever video it was, at least) Your level of consciousness is affected by your surroundings + enjoy a nice boost in your consciousness: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4mYqXs2fSk&t --- I've noticed this following fear/insecurity arise within me: "So many people here are struggling with personal development. Does that mean it's really that challenging to do personal development? Such basic problems people are having trouble with, does that mean that those problems are extremely hard to conquer?" The level of problem is correlated to the development of that person. A person who has solved that problem would not be asking that question. There are different problems for different stages of development. Basic questions versus higher-level questions "how do I implement a habit?" Versus "how do I manage 12 habits?" "how do i start a business?" versus "how do I hire people for my business?" There are many basic questions being asked on this forum. Which indicates a level of development Many people here are students of Leo, probably not nearly on the same level of development as Leo Levels of personal development video by leo applies here "you will gravitate towards the level of consciousness of your surroundings" - Leo "people who are making and enjoying results will not be on a forum" - Leo
