What about the Ego that you're "reshaping easier" that is alive within the dream. Don't you still see everything from it's perspective aka Eyes? (you know, the thing with which you are writing this post / that with which you are interfacing with the world) How does that one do when it's threatened by death?

Well if you don't know, why do you appear so certain that there is no such guide? That's exactly what spirituality is created for! That's why we're here.

Drugs, for me weed, can get you in heaven, but you guessed it - it's not authentic. Authentic means that you're in heaven in your natural state. Otherwise you are always dependent on a substance to get there and that's not something you actually want. You want to find that which is always there which can take you to heaven, because if it's not always there, the absence of it will make you unhappy (obviously). I can definitely smoke some weed and get into Heaven right now, but I find that not doing weed is actually making the waters more still and I can actually see God, because I'm not chasing God.

Simply not true. The spiritual path becomes too foggy to walk on when one is not pure in heart. If it was normal to eat others from our species with pure heart, we'd be doing it. But it's not. It's a perversion of mind. So are all the addictions out there. I was long enough in the trap that addictions do not affect the spiritual growth. That's what the mind says when it wants to keep an addiction going - normalising it. And it works for keeping them up. If one wants to be free, one must free themselves from impure desire. Inflicting unnecessary pain to yourself and others is not a spiritually right thing to do. You know it in your heart, while your mind can handwave it away easily.

If I can do it (same conditions as you + addictive personality) you can too! Try to see that you are actually eating other sentient versions of yourself. Imagine the Universe crying at seeing itself being cooked and eaten by itself due to ignorance. Animals do feel pain, and this pain WILL affect your karma. Good luck!

But past doesn't exist.... Who are you referring to. Suffering is an appearance in a story. When one is centered in the present moment, one cannot help but be enlightened...

Guys, listen to me, I'm freaking enlightened ok? Just look at my avatar... Pretty enlightened amirite or amirite?! Enlightenment simply means to center yourself in who you really are . In the morning when I wake up, if I experience any so called suffering, I immediately find my center and see that it's all good actually. What more do we need other than what is? If there is nothing other than what is, we should be grateful and appreciative of what is. The natural state rocks.

He meant us (we) not the US ? I have probably what most would conaider an "addictive personality" , but I found it very easy to stop eating meat and drink alcohol. Now, cigarettes and weed are another story - because I had a story running in my mind that it's ok to do those, but I'm quitting them too now. It seems like being addicted to transformation and spirituality is a good way to substitute negative addictions. About coffee, I do drink from time to time when I have to do something and I feel too sleepy. So using it for its purpose basically.
