Money. Government . Police. Private property. Diseases. Violence. Not being enlightened. Sex. -
I mean I guess this perspective can be valid if we are talking about sexual attraction, but even then its not mostly true I dont think. This thing about relating deeply to flaws and finding things boring when the individual has no flaws is mostly underdevelopment -- people like drama and like things that validate their drama. If we were to analyse this outside the lens of sexual attraction it wouldn't apply at all. Because the individuals that influenced, that people cry about, and admire were perfect or near perfect individuals with no flaws: Buddha, Jesus, Mahavira, Muhammad, Rumi, Adi Shankara etc.

@Leo Gura Holy shit I just had an insight into play!! Play is when you don't expect shit from the activity. No reward whatsoever, the activity is the reward. It's a no expectation mode of operation. So GOD is infinitely playful, it doesnt demand nothing from activities, the activity is an end in itself. GOD would do it even if it brings it misery, the doing is the THING, its profound. Just being itself, that's play!!!! Playfullness is the opposite of competitiveness, when you are playful you do not compare yourself to nobody or anything, you are with yourself, the moment is sacred!! When will society move from competitiveness to playfullness?? It`s crazy because competition is literally how people keep themselves sane, its what gives them meaning. They cannot imagine a world where you do stuff and dont receive any rewards, just doing what they like and not comparing themselves, not feeding their ego. Playfullness also correlates with selflessness. Just doing and being happy not expecting attention or rewards from anyone or anything. So in a sense spirituality is a path of playfullness, to get out of yourself and enjoying the things in themselves, just being??

Yeah, not everyone is an entrepreneur, and theres nothing wrong with that. Society cant function if people decide to not work for anyone an open a bussiness(at least the current sytem), we need workers and regular jobs. The first question one should ask is, are you an entrepeneur? And the second is, how much ambition do you have or need to not be sad.
-
@Leo Gura Would you say that Buddha was ambitious? I mean this one is tricky right? Does it take ambition to just sit for crazy ammounts of time? I don't know the answer tbh. I think it takes more crazy ammounts of bravery and character than ambition.
-
No reason at all. Being is self-generative.
-
Yeah, I know is not only about money. I was talking from the existential perspective. And to provide a radical oppostion to the op point of view. Ambitious people are not necessarily more happy or fulfilled than unambitious, lazy ones. There's no right in the story. It's a question of character trait, you either have it or not, but theres also degrees of it. Self-knowledge is key.
-
Ambition is bullshit. No one ever in history is more significantly better after achieving or aquiring just one more thing -- it is self-deception. Where will your riches go after you die? Lol Plus, why will you work so hard in a dream??

@Hojo According to Advaita Vedanta, the deep sleep state most experience at night is actually ignorance(avidya). There you have existence(sat) but you don't have awareness(chit). It is possible to become aware there and experience pure awareness(Turiya) which is the fourth state of being, that is different from the other 3 state: Jagrat(waking consciousness), Swapna(dreaming) and Sushupti(deep sleep). -

I remain open. Cant know if he is really channeling some extremely advanced extraterrestrial or just making an persona and faking it. But I would say his laws(which as Natasha says, could`ve been derived from other traditions) is pretty solid. Here are the 5 laws of existence according to Bashar: You exist. Everything is Here and Now. The One is the All and the All are The One. What you put out is what you get back. Everything changes except for the first four Laws. -

What about hellish realms. Something like buddist hells. I think in buddhism there are at least 8 hells lol. At the end of the day, no one knows. Just live your life and whatever is the case you will be there lol. Or not. Both ways is fine. -
You can exist without desire. Hence you exist in deep sleep. And what is the problem with that?
-
100% Desire is just you chasing your own tail, it never ends. One comes, another is waiting for you. You cant truly become happy that way. That's why all ambition is bullshit.
-
Stop projecting bro.
