PolyPeter replied to Unlimited's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes! The activity within one's own mind is a reflection of many things, not just knowing that you are God. And, knowing that you are God, is not the thing that brings the most peace to a finite mind. So, there is a learning curve. From being a human, to becoming God, and then to integrate knowing you are God with living as a human. It is inherently difficult, the human mind is tied to human survival, while at the same time, to know God is to leave the idea that you are a human behind, but this is difficult for a human. -

Everyday. I still have human habits. And personal preferences. But I know that I Am God. When I'm doing nothing as a human, I just bask in the knowing. -

Hey, let me try to answer this. I think it does not contradict solipsism, because there is an ultimate absolute, and this is the one that is truly only one. Think of this idea in terms of Set theory for simplicity, in mathematical terms. An Infinity can be full onto itself, so, in a way, it cannot touch anything but itself, and it cannot be touched by anything from outside itself. Lets take A and B as two different infinites. A is infinite B is infinite And C, is the Union of both infinites So C = { A, B } With this logic, we have C as the Union of infinites, and the distinction is mereley conceptual. In reality, there is an Absolute Infinity, out of which anything else gets imagined. It is completley unlimited, it is God. God can imagine a copy of itself, there is absolutley nothing from stopping God from creating such God. and then, what if its two Gods? and what if three? you get the idea -
this is a contradiction and if it is not a contradiction, maybe you do not know what Love is, and confuse it with romantic-humanish-feelings

Hey, I'm not Leo, but if you are gonna create a post, and not reply to any of the answers, and then just throw a "What do you think?" tagging Leo, what was the purpose of the public post to begin with? are you asking for help? or what?

I start this topic to read and discuss the best arguments against the following statement: "Consciousness is the only thing that actually exists, everything else exists within it" @LastThursday

You can create peace for yourself within this relative domain, as a human -

Interesting, can you share more details about this part? -
By "being wrong" i mean having a wrong idea about the world, and acting as if it is true, even just within the relative domain
-
This is true, but, what do we do after we see ourselves creating the contradiction? Do we even notice? do we notice and ignore? Do we feel like shit about the internal inconcistency and then stick to just one form of behaviour? In any case, learning takes place when we repeat a lot of times, observe, contemplate, and then repeat again, and again, and again... learning requires conscious effort, and mistaking, for you to learn, you need to be wrong in the first place, being wrong about something is not wrong on itself you can make it worse, you can make it better, or you can stay the same and it will always be your choice regardless of any conditioning

I died, came back, and now belief systems seem silly. To me belief systems now feel like training wheels on a bike. Once you learn how to ride, you better ditch them so better tricks can take place! Why would anyone believe in anything when you can know directly? Common responses: - Fear of going crazy. - Fear of pain. - Fear of being wrong. - Fear of Truth. Extracts from conversations I've had with people: "It is impossible for a human to live without a belief system" "Questioning my beliefs about belief systems??? I don't want to go crazy, thanks" "If it were possible to see reality from outside all belief systems, that would be painfull and horrible"

be skeptic!! the most you can be I've taken skepticism so far that it ate itself, A skepticism that is both serious and curious, that led me to verify something for my own, and it turned out to be this Void. Consciousnes as the One is somewhere you can sort of get conceptually, but consider that there is the possibility of embodying such knowledge directly, outside your human filter, maybe that's what you are missing?

Precisley like this particular dream, but now think about "this reality" as the dream of God.

@Natasha Tori Maru Peter Ralston is amazing! very clear and direct. thanks for sharing this videos, I didn't know they existed. I saw the interview Leo made to him.

I love Dr K. very practical advice But, although he mentions having had training as a monk, he does not understand what consciousness is. I think he has a very technical background on psychiatry and he is very good at psychology, and also encourages meditation which is nice. He does not care about philosohpy at all, he is all about practical things. He talked about psychedelics but he is too scientific about it, and current science only thinks of psychedelics as drugs.

yes, to humans

Ok. but are you open to the idea that I am actually saying the things from within personal experience? How could you ever know? I've told my story on dmt, but it does not seem to be enough for you. What would it take from me to say to you, for you to realize I am no bullshitting you? Have you ever done dmt? how enlightened do you know you are?

I think "Conscious Cosmic Void realization" is a word that might be suited for what I experienced at the peak. The Integration part of it involved understanding the following: - I am now in manual mode. I am alive as a human because I take every decision consciously. - I am aware that habits do not change from one day to the other, but a perspective can. - I feel 100% responsible of creating the life I desire, aware of the limitations of a human. I cannot turn off the sun and I am not responsible for what happens in the universe, but I can sleep 8 hours everyday and work towards my life goals. I know have a deep appreciation for existence in the relative domain more so even than before dying on dmt. I can see the infinite amount of intelligence required to give rise to the universes, it is nuts that we are here right now. Appreciate life!!! -

I had strong awakening about two months ago I experienced a massive consciousness expansion after I took 100mg of changa, smokable dmt. this is about 30% to 40% N, N-DMT. At first it felt like "leaving my body behind the back of my head", then like floating up outside the earth, then leaving the solar system, and so on up the distinct density levels. From within this phsyical one, which is quite contracted, up until infinite expanded, void singularity, conscious. This distinct density levels of consciousness are like "floors" on an a buildiing, and consciousness can take the elevator and go from one to the other. Taking dmt feels, to me, like going from 1st floor to the highest floor, at top speed. While also being able to see glimpses of all the differnet floors in the way. a similar experience I found was this one , , withouth the entity interactions, although i kinda saw some "other" at one of the "floors" for a very short period of time, only an glimpse. I've already posted in detail about that trip. And I feel like it's been long enough for me to say that I've integrated the learnings. Now more than ever I know what the hell this is all about. We are in one of many dreams. We are God as humans. We humans can dream at night, and nobody is telling us to do it, we just do it. God creates entire universes by just being God. Imagine being able to Imagine anything. I think there would not be a single thing that you wouldn't imagine. What's stopping God from creating? The only way of God creating an illusion of being stopped from creating, is filtering itself down. Forgetting itself. Imagining distinctions. Believing that it is not God. It gets lost within its own creation to give Life to the infinite universes.
