  1. I feel that. Sorry for what happened to you! It's actually best to explore it all with a therapist - sudden awareness can hurt and could potentially be really difficult to deal with by yourself. It depends on your area and who you can find - perhaps Internal Family Systems? I guess it's better to meet in person. Anyone who is dealing with CPTSD, childhood traumas etc. It boils down to re-parenting work and gaining awareness to what extent it affects your life - so whoever specialises in inner child dynamics. Good luck!
  2. If you read this much |||||||||| You'll remember this much || If you read that much |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| You'll remember ||||||| Anyway I suppose it comes down to a subject. Some topics become useless to read about since your self-knowledge goes beyond any concepts or ideas. But when you aim to remember most stuff or put them into practice then taking notes absolutely makes sense, doesn't it? Same with learning evergreen skills, science etc. There's no way of simply remembering all the things you read.

  4. Yeah the last number 7 is right. You hold tons of beliefs. Write out as many as you can first, don't just half-ass seven of them.
  5. "Each smallest act of kindness, reverberates across great distances and spans of time --affecting lives unknown to the one who’s generous spirit, was the source of this good echo. Because kindness is passed on and grows each time it’s passed until a simple courtesy becomes an act of selfless courage, years later, and far away. Likewise, each small meanness, each expression of hatred, each act of evil."
  6. I'd say Reiki, but you would need to involve a second person. Some are advising self-reiki but in my case effects come nowhere near to what I get by working with a practitioner. Kriya yoga focused on chakra balance, not just basic stuff. Meditation but with visualisation - really easy in terms of Solar Plexus. But I guess it depends on how big your imbalance is? Consistency is always a key ? Some shamanic practices could do it quite quickly and without involvement of anyone else, but it really depends on your root cause.
  7. @Razard86 And what if your ignorance could be even more profound? ?
  8. Try experimenting with different postures. I imagine you might have tight hamstrings (but I might be wrong here), how's your mobility? Simple 20 min yoga or some Tibetan rites could help you, or even deep squats. It's a process that takes some time - better sooner than later though!
  9. What position do you sit in? If cross-legged then that's most likely the cause. Try to experiment with your posture, try a zafu or meditation bench or a chair. It won't change with practice since you press on a nerve (this one most likely).
