I actually did get into nonduality around the time that my friend in school died from a drug overdose. She did it with a group of people at a house and they left her dead on the couch all alone.

I dealt with that almost a year ago. It’s a bitch of a disease & the recovery is long, but it is totally worth it to stick thru that pain.

I relate to this. Not being able to control a condition that threatens your life is no easy thing to accept. I observed myself avoiding that aspect of myself for many years unconsciously until it reached a point that it could no longer be ignored. Do you find that it’s easier to avoid facing your fears as well?
