@Davino And it fucks me up when I ask other Muslims about him; most of them tell me that reading Ibn al Arabi is dangerous and should be done with caution; you should rather stick with someone more casual. They don’t deny his teachings but have a stigma against him. He’s sort of like the psychedelics of the Muslim world. -

@An young being Of course! Truth often takes the back seat. Of course. Society is a humongous ego game. This is why Sufis are somewhat reclusive, and they don’t teach out in public, and the highest truth they keep to themselves, as no one is capable of validating it but themselves. So that plays into why they are not mainstream. Our society is mostly stage orange materialistic type, and Wahabism (the other side of Islam) corresponds mostly with that, and it is Rampant everywhere. -

Islam is a robust system if you follow it intelligently. Especially the sufis. I mean, the terminology and distinctions for all the traps and the whole path are sophisticated and elaborate. They even tell you that you have to transcend religion at a point and it is one of the scariest things to do. I haven’t done any psychedelics ever and had deep mystical experiences and God-realisations through sufism and occasional weed. -
I believe that too. Because all of us have an affinity towards Truth and higher consciousness, to various degrees. We can ignore this drive, and most people do, but this wilful ignorance renders us miserable. There is a distinct satisfaction experienced when we open ourselves up to the reality that is impossible to find anywhere else. So, reality is nudging itself to experience itself at deeper and deeper levels. And by cycles do you mean systems?

Can you talk more about this? -

Of course. Toxic skepticism doubts everything but itself. It’s a blindspot. -

There is a very simple logic behind it, but most people can’t see it. Absolute infinity is reality. And reality is whatever exists. Truth. Anything that you claim exists is by definition reality or infinite consciousness. It's a mind fuck when you realize this completely. -
This limitation is what I am referring to as self-deception. The whole God got bored thing is a simplification for newbies to make sense of it. self-deception is a genius and divine mechanism through which “concrete” reality is created. If we didn’t have these limitations then there would be no “reality”.

Anything outside infinite mind/reality/God is actually part of reality. There can’t be anything outside reality. And of course, there are infinite states of consciousness, so you have to be infinitely conscious to experience the infinite consciousness. Infact, infinite consciousness and infinitely conscious are the same. There is no limit to how conscious you can become. Psychedelics can do wonders. -
@Someone here One of the reasons is the way in which his brain is wired. He was questioning reality from the get-go. At 14 years of age, he got into philosophy. Another reason is his introversion. Which he used nicely to his advantage. Curiosity and passion are also central to this.

@trenton How about your daily routine? Like, how does your normal day goes? Do you have any practices incorporated into a routine? Also, do you exercise and take care of your diet?
-
What do you think about self-deception then? What about radical changes in state? You can change your state so much that you can’t go back to your previous state. Like, it would be so radical that we can not call it deepening or expanding. And you can still serve other purposes from this new state that the other state served. But yeah, you can’t serve the purpose of survival from high deep states of consciousness. Because the cost of ascending to that state is letting go of the current self state.
-
Reality is understanding itself, perhaps. The subject and object are seprated by deception. Understanding is a manifestation of love. The ability of infinite consciousness (as a limited form) to grasp itself.
-
Consider this: It (the infinite consiousness) is creating it and then also creating self-deception mechanisms so that the creation can forget it's origin and start acting as a distinct being. A human being. And by overcoming these self-deceptions it can realize its true nature. To what extent can this be done? I think it's do able. The merging of self with infinity. The surrender. But it's an infinite game as there is no end to how conscious you can become. That's what infinite consciousness suggests. Infinity. Now if it's sustainable as the base level of functioning? I do not know. And don't you think that all three layers you described are just one? Infinite consciousness? But separation arises because of the self-deception mechanisms?

Have you thought about therapy or psychedelics?

Israel instituted the blockade against the Gaza Strip not in response to a violent attack, but rather in response to Hamas's ascension to exclusive authority in the Gaza Strip, and earlier in response to the Hamas victory in the 2006 Palestinian elections. Israel, in short, engaged in an act of war against an occupied people, and violated its legal obligations to them long before Operation Cast Lead had commenced. A multi-referenced University of California, Hastings College of the Law analysis in 2009
-
The reasons cited for Israel's refusal to allow passage of basic necessities are untenable. Israel claimed that its restrictions were necessary to put pressure on Hamas officials to halt or substantially hinder the firing of rockets into Southern Israel. However, there is no reasonable relationship between depriving Gazan civilians of subsistence items and the suppression of Hamas' rocket launchings against Israeli towns. Israel's duties to "protected persons" as an occupier of the Gaza Strip under Article 55 of the Fourth Geneva Convention require that it allow the passage of all aid, foodstuffs, and water given the severity of the humanitarian crisis. The blockade appears to have clearly violated this provision of the law of occupation.
-
@Nivsch Israel has been accused of violating or failing to fulfill specific obligations it had committed to under various ceasefire agreements on different occasions to alleviate or lift the blockade. “Crossings were repeatedly shut and buffer zones were reinstated. Imports declined, exports were blocked, and fewer Gazans were given exit permits to Israel and the West Bank. The blockade has been decried by human rights groups, international community representatives and legal professionals as a form of collective punishment in contravention of international law, specifically the Fourth Geneva Convention. Rights groups have held Israel mainly responsible as the occupying power.
-
@Nivsch “Following the withdrawal, Israel continues to maintain direct control over Gaza's air and maritime space, six of Gaza's seven land crossings, maintains a no-go buffer zone within the territory, controls the Palestinian population registry, and Gaza remains dependent on Israel for its water, electricity, telecommunications, and other utilities“ that’s from 2005. Also, the terrorism was caused by Hamas. Hamas, an organization that Israel created.

To infinity? I mean, reality is infinite so it can create infinite patterns. And theoretically we can precieve these patterns with ever increasing levels of consciousness.
-
@Breakingthewall okay so they became hostile due to a reason right? If you want to make things better then one would start by undoing whatever caused that hostility. But Israelis have refused to do this. They have failed plenty of times to let go of Gaza.
-
@BreakingthewallCan you give me any examples of this or proof to back this statement?
-
If you go and settle in another country and take over, isn’t it obvious that they’d become hostile? I mean, the jews were warned “The bride is beautiful, but she is married to another man”

@Mesopotamian A very bad assumption that nobody gives a shit about them. Baseless assumption. People attach a lot of meaning to these sites. From your perspective, you see it as a delusion. Most people don’t.

@PurpleTree Add to that everyone with a perfectly shaved head and voila!
