I don't think you're seriously contemplating what I'm saying. I can give you the answer but that's like resolving the problem for you. Actually I'm saying a very radical point, for understanding the previous requisites are Awakening to Imagination and what is POV (not gonna say the s-word). Once you grasped that and you've realized consciousness is all that exists, a huge doubt will come in your mind. How come does sleep exist? All answers were quite unsatisfactory but what Breakingthewall said really cracked the nut for me: I share this instead of giving you answer so that you see the whole years of hard work it took me to grasp what is deep sleep. Okay, so padmasana is good for yoga but is not necessary for meditation. It lets the energy really flow through the spine, although it's quite overrated, it's the best way to sit. You can do kriya yoga in other poses and when you're a few years in and want to improve, get the padmasana. These stretches are good, use the ones that work for you, don't worry if you can't do some, you'll eventually can if you do the ones accessible to you. On the other hand, most people do padmasana wrong which can lead to knee problems and derivates. Second, try to remain with the experience as much as possible and take it as a point of reference for future trips and spiritual practices. Try to avoid making many maps and sense-making for now, because you need much more mystical experiences. It's cool to start contemplating but we aware of the distinction between the raw-happening-awakening with the sense-making of what happened. Keep going brother, things are getting so good. Realising Consciousness is all that exists, is what I call being Awake, that is the bar. You've had that realization, congratulations. You've also had some flavours of God and I encourage you to keep pushing but I cannot say for what I've read that God-Realization has happened, the bar has not been broken through. Let's be diplomatic and say there's much higher metaphysical and existential intelligence to be accessed and embodied. It all depends on the standpoint, for a chimpanzee a fundamentalist muslim is a genius. For an alien it's another ape. Not enough. Try more psychedelics before exploring Salvia. It's not that cool nor beneficial. It's just an epic mindfuck which bends your mind to integrate. DMT and 5meo are much better. Salvia is unpleasent by its own chemical structure.
