A comparison of thousands of human and chimpanzee genes suggests that chimps have actually evolved more since the two species parted from a common ancestor approximately five million years ago, according to Jianzhi Zhang, an evolutionary biologist at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, who led the research.Apr 17, 2007 https://www.technologyreview.com › ... Chimps Are More Evolved than Humans - MIT Technology Review Unicellular comment We don't know a lot of stuff, that doesn't mean it can't be true. I don't see how you writing everything off as fallacy is any different than the people coming up with these theories.

We don't have the original chimp form, we're not evolved from the modern chimp. Humans evolved one way and our furry cousins another.

Abiogenesis; as in organic from inorganic. It has nothing to do with where the inorganic came from. It could be true, all it takes is energy How inorganic or energy came about is unrelated. You can't know it's not true unless you know how it did start. That's not infinite regress

I don't see the authoritarianism being anymore prevalent today, if anything I think it's been diluted down from what it was. I do think we are more sensitive and perceptive about it now though. The world has gotten VERY liberal in a relatively short amount of time, many sub cultures do not understand the changes therefore are afraid of them, therefore desperately fight against them. I don't follow the declining culture concept, I don't think camaraderie holds this or any country together, I think it's personal integrity, I don't see culture playing much of a role, especially one based on who can accumulate the most junk and competitive capitalism, Americans eat each other alive. I think our culture divides us.

How can you know that?

I think something grossly overlooked by evolution deniers is the role human civilization has played in it the last 10k years, developing land, not just for building but also livestock grazing, and growing food, exterminating predators, ivestock breeding, fishing, whaling. Reducing prey, harms predators. Reducing the physical area, and then reducing predators further in the area left is going to slow evolution. Also, isn't it possible there's a point of homeostasis we are moving toward, and the closer you get the slower evolution would happen?

I'm still trying to figure out what we're discussing apparently, I think it's still the thought that America is devolving, the root of the thread. People were saying America is devolving, I said American culture has never evolved much and pointed to materialism, and I'm trying to figure out what you mean about America losing a strong culture which you say would lead to collapse, I see the opposite. Although there's infighting, that's because of growing pains, America in the recent past was just a European prodigy, not really having outgrown European culture. I think the reason empires in the past have fallen is because they were too rigid in maintaining their traditional culture, they expand and encompass sub cultures and try to maintain or impose their culture on others. What I'm trying to figure out about what you're saying is, by culture do you mean community? A strong community is required, culture to me is more about traditions. I think that's where I'm falling off, because I think materialism divides people in the long term.

To achieve those aspirations, an individuals part is to just try to be loving in your normal interactions and decisions, when someone hurts you, you just continue trying to be loving. Do what you can but not to the extent of making yourself miserable.
-
And to refer to what got us started on this, you think shunning materialism is bad for American culture? Will lead to decline and stagnation
-
Do you think the roman, egyptian, greek, ottoman, hun, Austro hungarian, empire cultures were weak cultures?

YouTube is not the street or town square, it's walmart, it's a gay bar, Google is a bookstore Start your own social media, who's gonna censor you?
-
You just posted it right here, and it's still here. Saying youtube won't let you post something is like saying walmart won't let me setup a booth out front saying whatever, or my neighbor won't let me put a sign in his yard. You have a broader audience here than you did wherever you were posting freely back in the day. That's like saying "I could say whatever I wanted in my closet". Start your own social media, who's gonna censor you?

I definitely agree with the age thing.

I'm not in pickup, but I really haven't come across many women that don't give off that clingy vibe, they usually actively try to conceal it, but I always sense it hiding. Do you all find a lot of women that aren't clingy for pickup?
-
Thank you for your work, dedication, and love. Doing what you've done must have had some very hard times, thanks for enduring for us.
-
The problem I don't like is that I know for myself and I think men in general, we can walk away easier if they're not what we are looking for long term, women never seem to want to let go and that seems like it would get exhausting with pickup. It starts to make you feel guilty, like you took advantage of them. Even though you're two consenting adults, many women are okay with just casual sex, until after sex then they want more. And I have girls I barely knew from years ago call me out of the blue, that messes with you, "did I screw that girl up"?

Put a sign supporting homosexuality in front of your house even in the early 80s, you'd be replacing windows in much of the country, and it would be burned down in others. You can reach the whole world with whatever you want to say in a click of a mouse today.

You think those cultures ended because the people shunned their culture? Passively or actively? I'm asking for an example of a culture ending because of what you were calling "weakening of culture" I think a good argument could be made cultures die because they strictly stick to their traditions. I think I'm missing what you're saying
-
Have an example?

What would weak culture look like?
-
I consider myself at least a bit conscious, what's the best inhabited area to raise children to have the least negative influence on a child, or is a negative environment desired?
-
People are intentionally manipulated in a way that harms them, for the perceived gain of others; materialism
-
That are down for just sex and early on?
-
I said men want those as well, I don't think we have polarizing agendas
-
Men do
