  1. That is salmon, wild caught supposeably. I buy it frozen, so I defrost a piece like this with every meal. This meal takes less than 30 minutes to prepare since I eat the vegatables raw. I try to be as efficient as possible so I minimize as much as I can.
  2. This is the stuff I eat everyday. I don't always cook beans or have cheese at home but I always eat eggs fish/chicken and lots of greens. it doesn't feel very exciting when your eating, but after... you can physically feel your body thanking you. Always eat before you go out and you will have no desire whatsoever to touch any of the garbage corporations try selling you everyday.
  3. I know there are a lot of sages out there and enlightened individuals who are probably at a much higher level of consciousness than Leo but no one has ever done what you have. No one has used the internet to reach out to the masses like Leo Gura. Your insights and teachings have hit the world like thunder causing thousands to wake up! If it wasn't for you I would still be in deep coma. Thank you for your life and your donation to the world.
  4. @Leo Gura well he says enlightenment is really to disidentify from your mind. To be the watcher of your mind. The realization that you are not your mind is to be awakened or enlightened "Enlightenment means rising above thought" he also says: "a desire to become enlightened is just another craving for fulfillment or completion in the future. So don't seek to become enlightened. Become present" Lol
  5. I just read the power of now and the content is so powerful and life changing! Leo, what exactly do you think of tolle's message of the Being within us and specifically our immortality as a formless consciousness? I remember you saying that we are existentially nothingness, and that everything comes from nothingness. But Tolle provides a very different perspective.
  6. Yea except he actually said "there's nothing better to do than to become a yogi" Lol i don't think so. Let's not forget that it's because of rational people that we are able to communicate and share these ideas the way we're doing right now. I think the optimal idea is to unite rationality and enlightenment in a beautiful way that enables us to transcend beyond the self, but at the same time maintain our productivity and rationality to help solve our world problems. If we sit and do nothing man's ego will consume this earth and leave nothing behind for future generations. And no one left to uncover any other truths about existence or ourselves.
  7. I would rather work towards advancing civilization and taking mankind to Mars or beyond than to be a yogi and meditate for the next 60 years of my life. No offense Leo ? but that's maybe because I have a passion for learning.. I get enjoyment and fulfillment out of that. But that's just me
  8. Thanks man! I'm trying out different plans and I'll see what works best for me. I think your right about the bcaas. Unless you wanna look like Arnold S you probably don't need them..
  9. leo, where did you get the idea that the earth is packed full of the resources that humans would need for a million years? i find that hard to believe..
  10. Anyone else doing intermittent fasting?? I'm currently eating between 1 & 9pm only. nutritious diet mostly, but I now enjoy my favorite treats daily. It seems like the body enjoys the routine. I don't get hungry before 1 and I am quickly satisfied after eating so im cutting probably around 500-600 cal/day without noticing. It seems this might be the way to go! I do btw take protein powder on workout days. So I kind of break the fast a bit. I train between 8-10 every other day. I might switch to bcaas in pill form. If anyone has any advice on protein intake during fasted workouts please share!
  11. i have a pretty nasty scar on my abdomen, right in the middle. i used to be embarrassed to take off my shirt as a teen. now 23, ive come to realize that it makes me who i am. when i was two, i had peritonitis and almost died. that scar reminds me everyday that i was given a second chance at life. today i am working very hard to build a six pack and stretch that sucker out, wont be noticeable in a few months...
  12. i think you need to first build up your confidence. Understand that women are human beings just like us, they are not any better than us nor are we any better than them. Once you come to terms with this you can start interacting with them just like you would with anyone else.
  13. Is it bad to be lacking in social activity? What if I'm an engineering student and spend most of my days and nights learning? I only really interact with people at school but I don't really go out that much..
  14. Thanks. I appreciate your input
  15. Hi guys, wondering just how much we should allow social media in our lives. We can't just be reclusive and hide in our caves either. People should know what we're up to and the things were accomplishing, or is that just ego pleasing? is having few followers a sign that your lacking in social activity?
