I think Jed Mckenna is somehow close with his kinda harsh and no bullshit approach. But still not close. -

God's only biases are 1. to know itself which is what we call Love/Free Will and 2. Perfection (because it is infinitely Good and Has no biases then he obviously would create the best reality posibble, so there is a linguistic paradox that BECAUSE God has no biases it creates his "bias" (not really a bias) for PERFECTION/LOVE. And it just so happens that the reality that you are experiencing is this choice made out of 1.desire to know itself 2. Perfection. -

When you wake up tomorrow just use your imagination to see that you just incarnated into this body as a ghost. And you have access to all the memories and habits of the past inhabitant of this body but you are not him. Now this new you has a ready avatar to use with a bunch of crap inside that you will clean and master. Imagine this as often as you can throughout the day, each day until it becomes your identity. I use that when I can't get over something I did or didn't do. It works. -

Yeah. And you could ask again, but why does making progress feel good. Well, it just is that way. There is something fundamental and mystical in self actualization. You couls philosophically say you tap into God's (Your) creative power. It is Power and Freedom to develop. Even if that means transcending development at some point.

@preventingdiabetes When you play a video game, why is it so fun to get better and better at playing it?

I would say do it. The function of your being/radiance is much more important than what you do physically in the world. Even if you withdraw from the system you will still participate in the metaphysical social mind with you energy. I would not say it is lazy. It is actually pretty fucking hard work to get out of the system. Maybe you will inspire others. Maybe you will someday meet with your family and you will make it more normal for your nieces and nephews to leave the system. I have similiar feelings as you but I don't care to abandon system completelly, rather use it enough to be free. Gather enough money to be able to live frugally and in a minimalistic way somewhere in the woods. Isn't it great? I started to wonder why are people so fucking stuck in their mysery, and I've came to appreciatate that as long as you don't have kids in this system then the system is not that bad. You will be able to work half a year and save enough money to be totally free for the next half of the year. In the past you would never be able to do that. I appreciate the ability that money gives you. Like when we were the cavemen we could not save enough of food and shelter to be able to trully meditate for half a year and understand the structure of reality. Now you can easily do that. Save money, go travel to the cheap country, meditate, repeat. Chances are that in the process the trauma of that awful (yet beautifull) system will be healed. That's what I see for myself.

Imagine the version of yourself in some alternate world that does not care AT ALL about what other people say/think. Imagine it for 3 minutes. Then believe you are that version. Fake it till you make it. More on that by Ben:

I totally agree. -
Leo knows this about his followers, he literally said in this thread that's why he does not create physical community: "Then again, any physical New Age spiritual community built around a charismatic teacher is going to take on cult like dynamics. Which is why I never started one. "
-
This is what happens to radically conscious leaders that do not care about their image. Not so long ago with Bentinho, Leo and now Teal. It's almost like if I would ever look for some new teacher I would check if he had been seriously accused of running a cult/narcisism and if he did not, probably his message is too watered down and has a lot bullshit

See his inner child within. Everyone has scared child inside - gender does not matter. See it within him. Whether it is emotional or cocky dude, see that inside there is always this scared, traumatised child hiding. This helped me feel empathy for people I used to hate.

On a different note it seems crazy to me that we need exams and certifications to drive a car, but no knowledge at all to be responsible for human life. I don't think everyone should be able to be a parent. Of course many problems with that, who would decide that, how and so on, but fundamentally I think there should be some learning required. Think about it. Basically the most important and difficult task - to raise a healthy human being - and still what is the precentage of parents that even though about reading a single book about parenting? Like 0.0001%? All the rest assumes that "it is in them" and that they instinctively know what is best for their kids. And then they just pass on trauma from their parents and so on. On abortion, the line between life and fetus is 100% imaginary. Like some could argue that from the moment zygote is formed then it is illegal to abort it. Some other may say that we can kill a child even after going out of the womb - like maybe 2 years after birth it is still okay to kill it? Some other may argue that sperm already has the potential to be a child, so jerking off should be illegal ( comparison to a brick by some guy earlier may be used exactly the opposite way, that single sperm actually has significantly more potential to be a kid - 0,0000000001% compared to 0 is still infinite times more potential) So we just gotta realise that this line is imaginary, and we should decide as a society at what place in the spectrum this imaginary line would benefit society the most. As I think the less kids the better for our planet, environment, and society at the current level of psychological development of an average parent then I personally would draw the line like to 2 days after birth. Some painless death. The amount of suffering and trauma that is created by forcing kids to live in dysfunctional families, and then they pass on this trauma onto the world for generations is huge imo. So much less suffering for just pushing an imaginary line a little bit further seems good to me. And the soul of this kids is untouched. They will incarnate onto some other, possibly in not so dysfunctional family. -

The fact that this insight can be misused as an excuse does not change the fact that it is important factor. The fact that this can be unmotivating for some people is an excuse not to look at the fact of genetics' importance. I think we should advise people to investigate and then transcend. Not ignore. -
Well, I do not think that trains are better ultimately. Just it personally seems to me that many of the problems would be solved by them in an elegant way. But I am also hyped about the future of self-driving cars. For me whether it will be trains or self driving cars it boils down to getting rid of that notion of PROPERTY. That in order to be a free human being you have to have your own car. When you don't have to have your own car (via public transport like trains or great web o self-driving cars) then all the problems with huge space required for cars that sit all day 9:00 - 17:00 in city centres are solved. So yeah. I don't really care if it will be trains, buses or self-driving cars. The web that makes owning a car pointless is what I hope for.

Trains actually are the most elegant solution in many problems: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oafm733nI6U&ab_channel=AdamSomething

I have similiar situation. There is just so many factors. Speaking relatively maybe your family has good genes but young "Souls" if you believe in souls. Maybe they have good genes but they did not have the perfect ombination of other non-gene factors like childhood trauma etc. Maybe you have a very wise old soul and good genes, but still using Leo's argument you would not be enlightened if you incarnated into dog. So it is important factor but still one of hundreds other necessary for such rare thing as enlightement.
