its because he is demonizing himself. he wants to sit around and smoke weed but he demonize it. he could be a good philosopher but says thinks its bad to do it and want to do something more important. There is nothing more important than being yourself. he didnt do enough shadow work and quit weed before he was done with it cause hes made up that it is not good. he needs to love weed. He should ask himself why do i like weed so much. then get high and just ask that question and find his shadows. I understand the feeling about never feeling like you have a home i have that as well. if you want to do it dont feel bad you can do whatever you want. making yourself feel bad for being yourself will only make you miss the spot because you are doing what you want to but you are letting others make you feel miserable about doing it. stop letting them do that. and if you dont like doing it and its making you miserable then go do something else why would you keep doing something thats making you miserable. thats like punching yourself in the face and asking us how we can stop you from punching yourself in the face. demonizing a habit will give it substance in your mind there are no good or bad. if you demonize something that is part of your identity you are demonizing yourself. the ego will use this to keep you doing it. Before the mind collapses it gets into logic thought loops and you just keep going over the same 5 seconds over and over and over . These are very good states to be in to show that you are not in control of your thought its just going haywire. You wont even be able to tell the difference between what is imagined and what you are seeing

@Arthogaan yea I bulked up super fast. I went from 178 to 195 in like a month. When I was eating vegetable and carbs I almost could make reality turn black in 10 minutes of meditation now I have to sit longer.

I was off meat for 2 years and then went back on and I do feel like it influences your meditation states in a negative way. It makes it harder and makes you more 'heavy' spiritually

@De Sade everyone is special and you have absolutely no idea why where or how anyone is thinking or feeling. Its always an ego projection what you think people are thinking or feeling even when you visibly see that they are in distress or not. Almost 100 percent what you think is happening is not happening. Ego is as infinitely complex as anything else in the universe and it controls what thoughts people hear. we all have thoughts running through our minds insecurities and everything else that we project onto others and then think things that are said and done are hurting or not hurting them. but ultimately its all a projection of ourselves cause there is literally nothing out there its completely empty, there is nothing but light.Its like a painted picture. the space between you and another human is infinite if you see someone crying and you feel it its not them its you projecting the emotions they feel on yourself. i saw a video one time and there were two men and there was a crackhead nodding out on the side of the street and one of the dudes said man thats just sad. and the other guy said he feels a hell of a lot better than you do right now. and inside that man could have been experiencing complete peace and happiness and could have been with god this is why you should stop caring about what others feel or think. you have no idea if they are being deceptive, honest or anything

yes you can focus on topic or thing for so long that you realize its nothing and then your neural connections implode and you have the aha moment as that thing dissolves into nothing. the implosion is the aha moment and you can see god as its happening

I always find it funny that science is okay with a floating brain in a dead universe but never just say God cause that's too crazy. Also they started with a dream and then went to focusing on time. What time is it in a dream

@Yimpa God is doing everything and the differences are not real. I do not beleive in free will so God is doing everything to God. I tried to do an experiment where I would have a shower and go as fast as I normally do but consciously narrate to myself what I am doing and I couldn't keep up with my actions. I see that this body is moving by itself while showering. Then I see that we have just programmed our bodies to do things through a yes or no type system and then they do them unconsciously. But I also could be living unconsciously because I do not communicate to myself every action my body does. I could have just noticed how unconcious I am living

@Yimpa how do you do that? Would it be to self reflect as God while self reflecting as a human. That would mean that those who do not self reflect themselves as God while in a body that can self reflect don't have a God and essentially die permanently as if there were no god. This would be what I am trying to communicate. If you die without knowing what God is you essentially die permanently and rise yourself out of purgatory unconsciously to live again after infinite time That is what i experienced. It could be that I trapped myself in a state to experience infinite abandonment so that I could re fall in love with God after having been to the bottomless pit. I don't know and am only speaking on experience.

Can god self reflect on itself as nothing? When I experienced nothingness I could not or had no idea how to self reflect.i was just pouting for eternity. If God can't self reflect it is nothing. It could have been i was not concious of God and therefore couldn't see how to self reflect as God but from my experience as nothing it cannot self reflect. If you cannot self reflect you do not exist you are existence and if existence is nothing you are nothing. Yes when I'm able to self reflect I can look back and say I was there but if there is no self reflection I cannot, i am just there when I am there. Unless I'm concious of God in that moment. This would mean death and the end of life as something permanently stops if you are not concious of God while dead. You would remain as nothing forever until you somehow raise yourself up from purgatory unconsciously.

@thenondualtankie he hasnt said anything about it or made efforts to do slow it down or anything. the problem is he isnt saying or doing anything. im on the fence about the conspiracy that trump just fed a bunch of money into the stock market and companies got loaded. now the left are just letting these companies consume everything, its like getting paid twice in a row. get the money buy every house, increase the rent and take every penny from the citizens. they know a recession is coming and are squeezing every penny before it actually happens and then people are uber fucked canada feels like its in a recession and a recession hasnt even started
