  1. @Never_give_up Maybe the way you feel is not connected to what you have, but to your identity. Maybe you have unhealed trauma, which is shame, guilt, and regrets that you feel, and corresponding beliefs about yourself - I am not worthy, I am not capable, I don't deserve...This creates the Identity of a person who believes "I am not ok as I am". So I believe the first step would be to work on that, to get to the point where you can say: I AM OK AS I AM. I accept myself, regardless of what I have and what I am capable of. What do you think about that?
  2. Is everything I think is real just a figment of my imagination? Does the duality of reality - Imagination ultimately collapse? Sometimes, it seems so...
  3. Do you believe that the only way to gain the world is to truly accept to lose it?
  4. @Aaron p yeah @vibv Poetry , Congrats on 1111 posts. @Salvijus @Breakingthewall @James123 Beautiful
  5. @Puer Aeternus Cool! What are the underlying therapy principles that your technique is based on?
  6. @Aaron p my intention of asking this question is that I had this intuitive idea that is backed up by a lot of experience is that only when you surrender to something you are free of it, like you say. To be happy I need to emotionally accept the idea that I will never be happy. To feel one with the world I have to emotionally accept that no one exist. Etc.
  7. @James123 Ok @James123
  8. You have to understand how the subconscious mind works. Whatever you believe is true will tend to manifest, or in other words: Your life is the Placebo effect. So if your subconscious mind believes something is true, you will find the proof for it. Maybe in more advanced states, it's possible to objectively change the world through your will alone. I'll tell you if I ever get there.
  9. Congrats. What are the main points of your book?
  10. What's the reason you want to love how you look? The first step would be to just "be ok" with how you look. Come to terms with your looks.
  11. Good luck on your way, Brother!
  12. How marvelous it is of God to create all of this complex world, all of the unique people, all the beauty, the infinite complexity, all the magic of the world - just for me. It's truly is the ultimate RPG.
  13. @Someone here True but you can have an ego death, be conscious of Solipsism, then fall back asleep to the dream, and still remember what you experienced.
  14. That's why I condition it to "if (metaphysical) Solipsism is true" - which means that only my experience is real. Yeah, I think it's more accurate than Joy. Epistemic = related to knowledge - so it would be "I know only that I am real, I don't know if others are real or not - maybe they are, maybe not. Metaphysical = related to what exists - so it would be "Only I exist, others do not". It was quite shocking and felt impossible. I was conscious of how my mind created everything - the past, other people, the world - how everything exists just in my mind.
  15. Under the assumption that Solipsism is true, life exists only for me, so it solves this problem. But let's assume it's not the case - I agree there is a lot of suffering, although I believe it's possible to find joy in almost any circumstance, like Victor Frank, who managed to find it in a concentration camp. I don't know if Solipsism is true, although I did have a solipsistic awakening experience. I think it's good to be open to all possibilities, so I entertain and try to come to peace with this possibility. I agree it could be dangerous, but I think we are after the truth, regardless of the consequences.
  16. Probably a Meditation (or Yoga) manual like "The mind illuminated". So it will keep me busy.
  17. @Yeah Yeah like many said, what you resist persist. If you're looking for GOD because you're escaping your life (which is a story, an illusion, but it's hard to see when you're in survival mod), I don't believe it will work. And it will be so hard to access because god is acceptance and right now you're fully in resistance mode. I think what you need first is self acceptance - to arrive to the point you can say "I'm ok as I am, I accept myself". Before that nothing will work. You want your thoughts, emotions, and actions to align. To stop the inner conflict, the split. You can call it therapy. Once exercise that can help you: whenever you're in an emotional storm ask yourself: What is objectively happening? What I'm feeling about it (feeling= my interpretation of what is happening) You will see that in realty nothing bad happens, it's only our interpretations that cause the suffering.
  18. I can't help you with that, but is there a specific reason you would like to know, or are you just curious?
  19. The Way of the Wolf for sales
  20. I don't think Spiral Dynamics is very useful for therapy because in therapy the content is not so important, you are more interested in the patterns of behavior which are independent of the stage. In Therapy You basically just want to get the client to accept themselves so that they "feel they are ok". Now for the higher stages of the spiral/ego development, they will be more interested in coaching. (let's define therapy as dealing with the past to create a better present and coaching as dealing with the present to create a better future).
  21. How do you know that the emotion you experience is hate? an emotion is already an interpretation of a sensation. you have the freedom to to see it as hate, but also as other emotions. Or see it just as a sensation. Does it serve you to see it as hate?
  22. I assume that you see in him something that you resonate with and admire. try to identify what it? What are the values that he emobides that you resonate with? Let's ask ChatGPT to save some time to for an example: 1. Commit to Self-Exploration Spend time understanding your inner world through practices like meditation, mindfulness, and journaling. Be open to questioning societal norms, traditional beliefs, and your own conditioned thoughts. 2. Study and Reflect on Wisdom Read and learn about a wide range of philosophies, religions, and disciplines. Osho synthesized teachings from Eastern and Western traditions. Focus on integrating these teachings into your daily life rather than just intellectualizing them. 3. Cultivate Communication Skills Develop a powerful and engaging way of speaking. Osho’s charisma came partly from his ability to articulate profound concepts simply and eloquently. Practice storytelling and metaphors to make complex ideas relatable. 4. Connect Deeply with Others Understand the struggles and desires of people you interact with. Osho resonated with people because he addressed universal concerns. Foster compassion and empathy, and learn how to guide others on their journeys. 5. Live Authentically Be unapologetically yourself. Osho didn’t conform to societal expectations; his authenticity drew people in. Create a lifestyle that aligns with your values, even if it challenges norms. 6. Explore Creativity Osho celebrated art, music, and creativity as paths to spiritual awakening. Allow yourself to express your emotions and ideas freely. 7. Be Open to Controversy Osho wasn’t afraid to challenge taboos or face criticism. Becoming a figure like him might involve standing firm in your beliefs despite opposition. Be prepared for both admiration and criticism, knowing that they’re part of the journey. If you do that, you won't become Osho but you could embody the same qualities that you resonate with when you listen to him, which is nice.
