Unfortunately, therapy is mostly useless in truly healing trauma. Because therapists have no idea who you are, what life is and why these things happen. As you can see, the trauma is still within you, hiding in your unconscious. However, meditation is the true medicine that can penetrate your unconacious and let that trauma go. But the process of letting it go requires for it to surface, which is what is happening in your dreams. Some traumas, from my experience, will require years and years and thousands of hours of meditation to trully heal. Yet when they do heal, you will feel lighter and more peaceful just in general, going throughout life. Be warned though, you have no idea what traumas are hidding even deeper, not even from this lifetime. I've acessed traumas from thousands of years ago and it's grotesque, terrifying, shameful, murder-involved traumas. And I had to dream those dreams to let it go. I would wake up in the middle of the night, bed drenched in sweat from fear, go stand in the shower, just staring into the wall without any thoughts, being stunned by the terror I just experienced. And that happened hundreads of times at various leves of depth and I am not even fully healed.. It's a difficult process, but the only one that really works. Others are easy in comparison, but dony truly heal, so yeah, buckle up.. -

I've done many practices throughout the years, from Buddhist concentration, to Echart Tolles being in the now, to mantras, Kundalini Yoga (lifting up the kundalini energy from the bottom of the spine up to the head on the in breath and letting go on the out breath), other forms of kundalini yoga as well. I've gotten Shaktipat, but I didnt see results from that. But the main practice that I have over 10,000 hours in is self-enquiry, just resting in the Self, aka Peace of God, inner Silence, or whatever you call it. -
You didn't get it? 😄 think the most potent spiritual practice. The practice that unifies all paths. The most beautiful of sounds. The voice of the Holly Spirit. Maha Mauna in India.

Oh yes, I remember being confused on this as well. What is there to reach, isn't this just reality as it is? Just my real self right here right now without thoughts? The issue is that we are stuck in a specific identity which is literally not-Self, the opposite of Self, a duality, an illusion. So our experience currently is the opposite of what is Real. God is so powerful that he can even not be himself, in certain aspects, like not being Love and instead being separate, fearful and limited. Yes, time is an illusion, but now we have to use time to return to eternity. How do we do that, practically? We practice spending time in the place that is unchanging within us, the Peace of God, until it purifies us and we awaken from the dream to reality of ourselves. -

Morality is within the domain of the ego. Knowing the Self and operating from Being transcends morality and ethics. -

Here's the ways you will know: You will be incapable of experiencing pain, because your unconscious guilt has been healed. Just like in a dream, no matter what happens, no pain, just sensations. That's why Jesus didn't suffer one the cross. Your mind will be perfectly still. You can still operate, but it will happen from Silence. You will be very blissful pretty much all the time. Your body will feel very light, like it's a figure in a dream. Your visual field will transform, like its illuminated. Even when you close your eyes, instead of there being darkness, it will be filled with beautiful white Light. You will feel One with everything. Siddhis. You will have the ability to completly wake up from this dream when you want to. When you do wake up, this and all the parralel universes will dissapear and you will finally arrive back home and enjoy infinite love for an eternity. You will barely need to sleep. You will either not dream or dream celestial dreams. Celestial dreams were soo amazing when I was close to Light. No words to describe them, just stunning beauty. No desires. Barely any appetite. No desire for sexual stuff. The most beautiful girl can be right in front of you and you will just laugh at the idea. No material desires. You are just so full, nothing is needed. Extreme wisdom. Completly non-judgemental. Very humarous and takes everything lightly. Body is very still, but that's just an expression of inner stillness. Feeling very veeery spacious. Like infinitely large. Stuff like that. Pretty good huh 😉 -

It's because of previous lives. If you had theological instruction before and was a dedicated student and perhaps had enlightenment experiences, it resonates. If not, then not. -

The memory of God within us is the quiet center that we enter in meditation. Currently, we are not God, we are egos. To heal ourselves, we have to live more and more from the silence within until it purifies us and only the Divine remains. -

@Magnanimous DU doesn't require or even recommend letting go of material desires. They are not saying you should overindulge, but neither is the path of asceticism required, basically, the middle path is the way to go. I would say read it ASAP, it's probably not what you expect. It even tells you how to be inspired to take actions that will bring you material wealth, but that's not the main focus of the book, like the first book of CwG, only a tiny part of it. -

Not really, since reaching the 8th Jhana is a complete dead end and not enlightenment, even though Buddha thought that it is. I've been in the 8th Jhana of neither perception nor non perception, aka the void aka nothingness and it's an error to regard it as the final attainment. David Hawkins also reached it and knew that it wasn't the end since there is no Love there and God is Love. That is the main issue with Buddhism, since Buddha didnt understand God, so the whole path is wrong and all Buddhists are mistaken. -
Yes, meditation.

I thought that Conversations with God trilogy is a document containing the highest truth, a book truly dictated by God. And then I've read the Disappearance of the Universe trilogy which showed the huge flaws apparent within the CwG philosophy and how it's dictated by ego, not by God. The whole rhetoric is incorrect in CwG, it actually focuses too much on manifestation, living the good life and paints a positive picture of the illusion, instead of revealing that it is a trap set up by ego and we need to disentangle ourselves from it. The CwG trilogy is very sound logically and you are unlikely to see through the falsehood that is hidden there, like Leo was unable to and I wouldn't have been able to if not for the DU trilogy. -

Monasteries and various 'special' meditation places suck. I also thought going to meditate to a highly regarded monastery globally - Na Uyana Monastery in Sri Lanka, will help me reach new levels of conssciousness. Nope. It actually sucked. They are glorified spots that in actuality are not conductive to inner peace at all. If you have an inch for that type of thing then go ahead, try it out, but it's much better to stay where you are and construct a life where you can meditate at your location for 10-16 hours per day and awaken. There's alot to cover why that's the case and it's 4 am here, so I'm going to sleep, but if you want more info lmk. -
That's one of the reasons drugs are harmful, they dig into your subconscious earlier than you are ready. Also, doing drugs and listening to molestation songs is probably one of the dumbest things ever. Even if you weren't molested, if you do drugs and listen to those songs your mind will imagine that you were. Maybe that's what happened? If not, then read the Dissapearance of the Universe trilogy which will teach you to heal your mind on the deepest levels, levels which pshycologists or hypnotists have no idea about.

This type of mindset is just cringe in general. You are trying to engineer your life and learn rules to get you friends and girls. They can probably smell the neediness a mile away and are repelled by that. There are no rules or tricks. If you follow any, you will be even more awkward. The most attractive thing is just honing your craft and not focusing on girls at all. Not sure if you noticed but chasing tail is very unfulfilling and results in hanging out with low quality women. If there is a partner that is perfect for you, then you are destined to meet them whenever you get your shit together, stop chasing meaningless sex and work on fulfilling your full potential. Daddy gave you a stern talling, now go think and change your life.

What contemplation exercises are you reffering to? The ones on this forum Leo posted long time ago? They suck, he probably doesn't even recommend them himself anymore. Contemplation isnt how you reach enlightenment anyway. No-self isn't enlightenment either. Lots of stuff to learn it seems like. -

Your active mind due to contemplation and in general mental diarhea is what's holding you back when tripping. Go on a 2-week solo meditation intensive and then trip. You will have the deepest trip yet. Thank me later. -
@puporing Can you answer a few questions? Please no stepping around them or saying they are meaningless. It will take just a minute or two of your time. Here they are: How do you feel throughout the day? How active is your mind when you are just sitting doing nothing? Is your perceptual field different than what is normal? Perhaps when you close you eyes instead of it being all black it's all Light or something? How does your body feel? Do you still have desires? What about appetite, do you still want to eat? Do you feel pain? How much do you sleep? Do you dream? What happens in your dreams? Is it different than what normal people dream? Thank you.

⚠️⚠️⚠️ complete bullshit. If you know what to look for it's obvious within the first 5 seconds of listening to the guy that he's full of it. Tell your friend to go to a strip club with that cash instead, he will get more value for his money.

Use it as a motivational fire to awaken. See that your illness is just one of the many ways you suffer and realize that it will never end if you keep living the way everyone is. Have some compassion towards yourself and decide to finally wake up out of this nightmare you've been dreaming for, probably, the thousandth time. Look at it this way: you've probably suffered as much as you are suffering now 10,000 times before. You just don't remember, that's how dreams work. Don't you own it to yourself to do something about it? And you can wake up if you really want to, so use this suffering as the fire under your ass that makes you get up and leave this human domain forever. Gl.

The guy confuses his ego self with his true self and is trying to love his ego with his ego. If the conclusion was that Love is what we are when we remove all the blocks to the inner awareness of Love aka Self, that would've been great. Isn't, sadly. That requires a completly new dimension of wisdom, which he isn't even close to reaching. I can sort of agree with the idea from the other guy that you won't find a soulmate if you search for him. As Mooji put's it to his female students: if you are searching for the prince, you will kiss alooot of frogs. And isn't that so fking true..
