  1. @Dizzy The most amazing part of this is that there is absolutely nothing stopping any one of us from having this experience at any time. It is a most natural state and any other is corrupt with illusion. Raw- pure- crystalline consciousness.
  2. @Lauritz It may seem exactly the same but God is a real joker so each time he adds or subtracts a couple of grains of sand on a beach somewhere just to switch it up.
  3. @John Iverson I don't know what meditation practice your using but a mantra may be helpful for you. When you notice a thought starting to happen, gently bring awareness back to the mantra or breath. Keep it as simple as possible and don't make too much of small annoyances otherwise all your doing is creating more resistance. Meditation is letting go of all the distractions that keep you stuck in you.
  4. Yea, that's the full circle I speak of. Your here but are you really?
  5. That's the way I've experienced it. You have to come full circle to awaken to where you've always been.
  6. This is where it sometimes gets complicated for the "I" to comprehend. The "I" is kind of a case of mistaken identity if you want to think of it that way. When you refer to an "I' your probably referring to a thought of you as an "I". But what are thoughts? Thoughts come and go all the time. The "I" that you thought you were a year ago, or even a second ago is different from the "I" you associate yourself as now. And it will be different tomorrow and the next day and the next year ect. ect. So where is a fixed "I" located ? What proof do you have of this "I" you speak of? If you've looked deeply into theses questions, you will realize there is no fixed "I" anywhere to be found (other than a fleeting thought). What happens next? The transcendence of "I". What was once "I" attached to a body becomes dissolved into everything and the dream of a separate self falls away.. The body is realized as just another aspect of the physical universe. No different than a tree or a dog or sand or stardust ect, ect.
  7. I must not be awake for everything seems to be a dream. Or maybe I'm awake for the first time and all that was before was just a dream. Walt Whitman
  8. @Afonso I kind of get that impression too from watching some of the people who ask him for guidance at his satsangs. Don't get me wrong, I love Mooji. But some of his followers seem to be a bit lost in themselves. What kind of 'hand gestures'? I'm not sure what that is. Like flashing gang signs?
  9. Anything significant about the last 3 days to cause a change? What are the megaphones saying to you? Turn it around on it self. Maybe something needs to be heard?
  10. @Visionary I thought this was interesting. The statement 'It is not aware of itself, That is the true Reality'. What would that mean? When we're awake we're asleep in true reality.?
  11. @John Iverson I watched this earlier today. The Philippines are a paradise. Look familiar? I wanna be there!
  12. @John Iverson 99.9% of what you see around you is probably artificial. Physical forms manifested by the egoic mind. Of course there are simple human comforts for survival. But anything other than that is excess and illusory.
  13. @2000 When the time comes for you to see through the illusion of the suffering of ego, you will laugh along with the universe Trust that it can happen if you allow it. It is the shining light at the end of the tunnel. Or should I say- beginning light at the end of the tunnel. Transcending the ego opens a whole new door to a universe of infinite beingness. Everything becomes you as consciousness.
  14. Some aggressors come at you because something you've said may have threatened their paradigm. Even when it's not said directly to them. Then they just can't let that go and 'You needed to be 'C-O-R-R-E-C-T-E-D'' by them.
  15. That's it! It's like Oh, it all makes sense now! It's no longer just words or concepts -but a direct experience to relate the teachings too. That's something you can really build on. Good luck.
  16. @goodwig I guess psychedelics could be considered 'Miracle Grow' in my plant metaphor of spiritual growth.
  17. @goodwig I agree with everything Leo said. And just to add my experience at this point of my journey to that. Meditation is a great tool to have in your toolbox but it's just one of many. Meditation is great for finding stillness and cultivating persistence and discipline in practice. Meditation, self enquiry and contemplation are all huge parts. Along with some degree of knowledge to point the way. But also some direct experience of what enlightenment is. An experience that can be referenced even when you fall back out of the direct experience. Which will happen. A big part is cultivation. Constant cultivation like tending/ nurturing a garden to maturity. And maturity takes time. Think of it this way. Everything you know and have experienced of enlightenment today is growing inside of you like a seed. And a viable seed is a good healthy start. And like planting a garden, you may set the seed in the ground and not see much at first. Than at some point, a small seedling will break out of the ground. That would be a first direct experience. And also like a new seedling, you may not experience obvious rapid growth after emergence. And why. Because the plant is putting it's energy into establishing strong roots underground that will someday support an established plant that will be fruitful. So it is with the growth of enlightenment. Just because you don't see much obvious progress right now, that doesn't mean it's not happening. You are establishing roots. And just the fact you've already set the seed is a huge start. Keep cultivating and trust in nature/ universe that it knows what it's doing.
  18. @John Everybody is different but yes, this may very well be part of your personal purging process. As far as going deeper, I find that there is more awareness of suffering. Maybe because one becomes more open and in tune with everything. But there is no personal attachment to the suffering, It's just seeing the suffering as it flows through you like a chilly breeze that comes in one window and out the other again. Fear in itself has no power other than the power you give it. If you don't feed it, it will starve quickly and fall away. Just as a suggestion, you could make fear part of your practice by facing the fear fully as it arises head on. Doing so renders it as the harmless illusion it truly is. Like the magic trick where the magician saws someone in half. It's the mind that creates the illusion of the saw cutting through flesh and bone. In truth the saw is cutting harmlessly through empty space.
