Death feels like an ultimate escape. Suddenly everything doesn't matter. Responsibilities, work issues, health issues, psychological issues, family, society, other people, war, disease, end of the world. Nothing matters. It's like you suddenly gain ultimate control over everything. All those things that you were so afraid of and worried about are powerless now. It's like when you graduate school and realize that you don't have to care about opinions of your stupid teachers anymore, or grades, or relationship with other kids. Or like waking up and realizing that you don't have to go to that work that you hated anymore, because you've just won the lottery. Not even for a single day. It's over. I think a lot about how you can just drift away into nothingness and everything will be gone. And you will finally be at peace. Darkness and total silence.

Is there anyone with adhd who is taking meds? Are they worth it? I am afraid of it becoming a crutch or even actually doing more harm than good. Also, does anyone know if microdosing can be an alternative? @Leo Gura sorry for tagging you, but you seem to have a lot of knowledge about all kinds of drugs in general. Can you share your thoughts, please?

@Lyubov Thank you for sharing. I tried to get a prescription, but had a bad experience with the psychiatrists. And now I am not sure if I want to go through it once again.

I plan to replace all of my drinking water with glass bottles for sustainability, but I am also curious if drinking from the plastic ones is actually harmful. Do they leak microplastics into the water, and are there any other potential concerns besides that?

@RendHeaven is it actually this simple? I also thought about it, but there must be a reason why RO systems are a thing and why they are so expensive, right?

@Leo Gura do you have any thoughts on water destillers? They seem to be way cheaper, but do esentially the same thing, minus mineralization.

Why? That sounds like bs. Plastic is never fully recyclable and recycling of plastic itself is bad for the environment. I don't see what's the issue with the glass bottles. Do you have any sources for this? This is the first time I am hearing about hormones. Why w I uld tgey be there and and how does bottle material influence it?

@Rigel are you using reverse osmosis system, as Leo suggested or some other filter?

@Leo Gura yeah, I remember you talking about RO. Unfortunately, I don't have the money for it at the moment. Besides, I am renting. If they are everywhere, then are they even possible to avoid? And will a small decrease in their consumption help that much?

How is it foolish, and how am I taking myself too seriously? Easy to say when you already enjoy the way things are. Yeah, the state that I've been in for 20 years. I am sure it will pass tomorrow.

Basically the title. I've kept them in plastic zipper lunch bags with silica gel pads and air squeezed out of them.

@Yimpa they look and smell normal to me.

I am curious if anyone here can provide a valid, meaningful argument for why I, as a citizen, have a duty to protect the country I was born in with my life.
