  1. That’s what I would think too. If you set aside your human bias you probably become vegan. If your health allows it of course but most people could do it if they plan properly. Treating other conscious being with the same respect that you treat yourself removes an ego double standard and so makes you more conscious. I would bet that clean conscience makes spiritual insights/ awakenings more accessible.
  2. @Chives99 When absolutely nothing is wrong, seeing something as "wrong" and trying to change that also isn't wrong.
  3. Are they trustworthy? Don’t know what a provoked urine test is. So I am guessing unprovoked. In the test it says heavy metals are harmless up to a certain amount. Why are you so sure that they poisonous in any amount?
  4. @OBEler Oh okay yeah that makes sense. Could you ask it?
  5. How could it access these studies then?
  6. Thanks. yeah I hope so too. I hope there is enough strong evidence that the case gets resolved quickly.
  7. I worked in a kiosk for about 84 hours as a side job which makes around 1k in euros which is a decent amount for student standards. I recently found out that the kiosk owner is probably a giant cheater and a few times I saw his behaviour towards customer which showed that he doesn’t have a lot of morals. He told me all kinds of stories about how he inherited a giant 75 million fortune and that he manages all kinds of businesses including this kiosk as a job and I believed him like a naive sucker. A coworker of mine who is an ex criminal talked to me about it in private and basically explained to me what kind of person he is and that he has a lot of intuitions that he does some kind of shady businesses or plans to do them in the future. My gut feeling tells me that I can trust him way more then the kiosk owner especially given the most likely lied story about the 75 millions. The ex criminal said that he basically has his old criminal days behind him and now wants to do legit shit. Tomorrow is pay day where I am supposed to get 252€. I will reduce my working hours on the following weeks to see how things unfold. I really like my job. It’s super chill so I can do philosophy and it’s 4mins away from home. What do you say? Should I quit asap to not risk getting pulled into something illegal or should I wait a bit and let things unfold?
  8. He didn’t say his trips are deeper because of the meat consumption, he says his trips are deeper and he eats meat. Maybe his trips could be even deeper without meat consumption or maybe meat consumption enhanced the depth of his trips or maybe meat consumption doesn’t have anything to do with the depth of his trips. It makes sense that his trips become deeper over time because trips build on top of each other.
  9. @TheAlchemist Jordan Peterson says that the Bible is a pointer to truth not actual truth. You know fairy tales? Of course they are complete fantasy but on a meta level they point to some insight. The good ones at least. Jordan Peterson would probably say that the bible is the ultimate fairy tale because on a meta level it shares some of the deepest insights.
  10. @supremeyingyang Yeah it’s a good lesson for me for sure. Sure when I have news I will inform you.
  11. in English: „I gave him a job because he just came out of prison and needed a job really bad. I guess my heart was just a little to big.” What a fucking degenerate lol.
  12. Yes exactly. Their mentality is so different it’s really fascinating. I am so naive I actually construed scenarios where this would make sense. I thought because he is still very young he might not want to risk his money on big projects and just wants to collect experience with smaller projects. That’s what I would probably do. And I also thought it’s not the only project. Maybe he does it for fun so his friends have a place to chill… A coworker joined a few weeks ago. He just got out of jail and says he was a cheater his whole life and knew my boss was a cheater the second he saw him. And he was right. My boss didn’t pay me or my coworker any money. So my coworker made an indicate at the police that my boss opened packages of customers which he appearently saw. The kiosk is now closed. My boss changed his phone number. The story of the opened packages is in the newspaper. My boss reacted and now blames my ex criminal coworker for the opened packages. This went to shit really fast lol. He owes me a bit more than 1k which is quite a lot for my standards. I read through the whole employment contract because I had a bad feeling about him but completely overlooked that on the first page his name was missing. It is a contract between the kiosk and me not him and me. I have his signature at the end but idk if that counts. I have WhatsApp, customer and probably camera evidence that I worked there but idk if that’s enough. I will go to the police and ask them tomorrow.
  13. What is Tates "higher vision” lol ? He doesn’t provide value. If anything he provides negative value. The guys that follow him become ignorant retards and the guys he exploits become bitter and resentful.
  14. @Dioxide2533 Yeah totally. Connor Murphy made a video about it ? he says that through the stretch new tissue is build.
  15. Damn, we need more cake in the world!
  16. Exactly lol. Dogs are actually omnivores because we fed them veggies for so long. So veggie dog food works. If that breaks your heart then I would go for organs because that’s often wasted. Also it’s about human nutrition. How we feed animals would be another ethical discussion.
  17. Useless animal cruelty is forbidden. So it’s not like you can just buy a pet and then torture it legally. That’s why most of society is developed enough to see it as wrong. If society develops further we could illegalize eating meat for sure. I agree with you theoretically but practically it doesn’t work. When I switched from veganism to vegetarianism I spent a bit of money to third world countries every time I bought some milk products or eggs. Over time I got used to buying animal products again and lost the interest in spending that extra money. I stopped being aware of some of the animal cruelty once I switched from veganism to vegetarianism because it would interfere with my self worth.
  18. You can’t get fat on a specific body part.
  19. Why? Most people in society act in a way that they try to avoid hurting others so they accept others pain and suffering and go about avoiding it. You gotta eat something so you gotta choose. We are part of nature. Evolution is part of nature. Developing a self of morality which has compassion towards other species is part of nature. If you value being as primitive as possible then go ahead.
  20. You said ethical choices should be individual and not peer pressured. Ones eating habits as well as criminal activities all fall under the general category of ethical choices. My argument is that its a double standard to treat eating habits differently from other crimes. Its just that our society isnt developed enough to also include animals, at least not to the same extend. There is no reason to not put animal rights on the same ethical playing field as human rights other then that its not conductive to our survival. Which is why we tell ourselves that one is justifiable and the other one is terrible when there really isnt a difference. edit: Thats the 3-years-quiet-vegan-just-got-rejected-by-a-hot-girl-I-have-feelings-for-energy. REEEEE!! Love you @Michael569
  21. I think only 2% of our body is actually human or something. And I don’t belief in free will. But that doenst justify anything.
  22. That’s like saying everyone should decide for themself if they want to rape people or not. No society has a duty to pressure people to not become criminals because that’s the only way the society survives and stays healthy. But the fact that vegetarians and vegans are the vast minority means that they can’t operate in that way. It only works if the majority has the same belief. So yes not pressuring anyone to follow the same veggie lifestyle is psychologically the most strategic thing to do.
  23. @Kimka Have you talked to a plant based nutritionist about it? There are many things one can do wrong on a plant based diet and plant based diets can be build very differently. You probably know because you were plant based for so long but just in case you overlooked that. You can of course be spiritual while eating meat. But if you eat meat because you don’t give a shit about the animals you are selfsish and become less conscious. If it’s your only option it’s justifiable. Leo eats a lot of meat because of his gut problems.
