  1. no of course not. general self actualization can help a lot to begin with, actually socializing with girls without necessarily expecting outcomes is a good start. one of the main problems in that aspect is that preconceptions can only hold against the reality check as long as the distance is somehow kept. i don’t like how pua often depersonalizes and objectifies women. so we all talk about different stuff for lack of better wording.
  2. no, just don’t sell it for a self actualization topic if it‘s herd mentality. its not all solved with pick up, pickup is if anything a collection of techniques, like weapons sometimes in the wrong hands def not what was originally intended with it. its not a lifestyle. if you separate it from the rest especially try to make such an exclusive thing of it you will not solve your issues and most def it will not make you happy to move to a city just for the pick up factor, it doesn’t automatically make the success rate rise. self actualization is not a guys exclusive.
  3. good luck in this community where nothing else seems to matter. poor people who come here for spirituality, not even virtually it seems possible to think about a different world. do you have other „life purposes“ or is purpose just a peace of cheese.
  4. @John Paul if you have purpose to move somewhere to find a certain community to share your passion with, why consider moving somewhere for the sole purpose of pick up? compared to the quality you gain through meeting likeminded people why would you give that chance up for one night stands? why would you trade jazz for anonymity? it’s sad that cities like new york probably will have less and less artists because of high rents. the big cities all get renovated to death, already in their final breath because of the mainstream thinking they copy the originals better than the originals do themselves. better picking up jazz than picking up pick up.
  5. @Tim R like back to the roots basics? would you expect more a practical approach or meditation practices?
  6. could you explain further what you meant here? I didn´t understand what you meant. i mean you make lists about what you need to do to get results, the confidence is encapsulated in not forgetting what you wanted to do and keeping track on what you need to do to get results. so you get the confidence in getting results. this is a new twist in the story, so if you don’t like it to be disciplined you can always make a to don’t list on which you put every behavior or action you want to skip out on because it produces a negative result (feeling not confident, overly disciplined) you can also put on a to don’t list: •don’t connect confidence to results, superlatives or quantities you can put on a to do list: •do everyday something i would like to gain confidence in
  7. true - and a true yellow thinker would probably understand this. the development to a sturdy yellow is a full integration of green, which includes understanding its complementary though. if a person is red or red/purple in basic behavior, the personality is not yellow even if mental execution seems to execute in a yellow way. maybe the way of systemic transformation of any system is one of the most discussed and most difficult and challenging processes in politics and history which historically does not forgive errors in the long term, therefore a lot of green thinkers are still impulsively red triggered which creates conflicts. although this is why green plays such an important roll in collective stage development, especially in functioning societies green has a massive importance. wars like second world war though for example or even revolutionary wars throws humanity far back in their developmental stage in total in a lot of cases to beige and it’s not sure the system would really change after that phase if aggression keeps the society in lower stages - if criticizing capitalism you really need to understand what’s the alternative. regarding viruses and such i think the development of better medicine and less animal farming is probably working out better in a functioning society.
  8. let’s suppose this is not about being actually illiterate but about the ability of reading fluently. it’s like with skills like drawing, or maths getting lost over a course of time because the training stops. my mathematical skills are definitely rusty for example even memorizing telephone numbers my phone does for me, so my contact with numbers is usually using a machine for calculation. same goes for reading, my online reading time is much higher than my reading time in paper book time. this might be already a bit alarming for a self actualizer but it gets even more alarming if you compare the book reading time of children of the current child generation to past child generations. its also about the fun factors in reading and the phantasy factor in individual imagination processes connected to literacy that get lost, and stuff like epical conclusions. main paper article folowing (who‘s reading a news paper weekly by the way?) https://www.theguardian.com/technology/appsblog/2013/sep/26/children-reading-less-apps-games
  9. @Yoremo is confidence connected to discipline for you? i‘m not sure but discipline is very hard to get self actualized towards if it’s not already part of your character. while confidence can be related to a lot of character traits or skills. it might be that discipline the way you perceive it, is not the method for you. by the way if you self actualize a lot, are you sure you are not already are showing discipline in constantly self actualizing? so maybe discipline is not what you are searching for. continuity in habits might not be your streangth. i‘m also struggling with keeping focus, my search engine tracks me better than i track myself, i use to loose focus if too many topics seem to ask for priority. you could try focus practices, mindfulness practices, self-care practices, filtering out what you want to stick to your everyday life. i like „to do“ lists as simple as this sounds - maybe „to don’t“ lists are also a good idea especially connecting confidence to results, superlatives, or quantity, i‘d def put that on a to don’t list.
  10. i like this very much. i‘m a bad meditator though still have faith in it, is that weird? i‘m an undevoted meditator, devotion would be a logical consequence.
  11. on a collective level the line is an idiocracy. on the information level it is when you google the facts and find as many misinformative facts as you find informative facts. and the most useless fact knowledge is if you can’t conclude anything practical from the facts. its like having money but the store is empty. that’s the line.
  12. if you still sit down meditating without faith, it probably works without faith in the beginning. can faith work without meditation?
  13. i‘m totaly impressed by the ignorance on this topic. it‘s totaly not true that directly after the period are non fertile days - the fertile days start with end of the period. i‘m completely on track with giving young grown up girls more education about their cycle especially because the saying about taking a pill or not should be completely pressureless in the decision of the female. i don’t have one friend in my end of thirty years who ever had problems while taking a pill as birth controll. but know more than one having infammations and myoma because of a spiral, because of these silly myths. and also more than one having children as single moms at the end of their teens, because of these silly myths. some of them at the same time fucking up their brains while taking drugs. this green peer pressure thing is totally backwards. and it’s repeating in every generation, just that it was in the beginning fanatic christians who did that peer pressure job. i could also throw up about the possibility that cycle tracking apps probably also track data.
  14. @Lews Therin why? you might be right about green but yellow is more oriented towards compromise and real success in sense of changes in society. a yellow thinker might have thought through all pro‘s and con‘s in sense of harsh system changes and might tend to more realistic developments in sense of doability. if a yellow thinker does not have a realistc plan in sense of time and doability to replace a capitalist system s*he might try to find longterm solutions to improve that system instead until the point when better systems can develop collectively more naturally. there is no yellow in my oppinion without a diplomatic approach securing a flourishing society with more peacful solutions a green person would do - it does not mean yellow would give up principles of social justice, the focus point of implementation is just a different one. yellow thinkers are more human centered than green people, only in a turquoise approach you‘ll find more visionary solutions for real soft system changes, a challenge for yellow is def: not getting stuck there especially if orange sabotages success.
  15. you obviously don’t understand a cycle at all. obviously you overestimate not only yourself, but especially children who play grown ups. especially while underestimating the effects natural hormones have on the developing body but also in the developed body of both genders.
  16. @Ulax might be that the feeling of wanting to fix oneself is indeed a perfectionism applied by the constant feeling of never being enough or sufficient. it might be interesting in which aspects of yourself you feel you need fixing, or are overly perfectionistic, to then actually really fix sth, because there def might be a hole to be fixed. fixing stuff or even situations is in itself a skill and not a burden. how much are you into chakra work? i realized a lot of my pains related to a narcissistic parent came from this person questioning the right to my existence, which is a constant threat to the muladhara chakra. only after finding ways to understand that this is a threat and not truth but manifesting in reappearing pain which is channeled as behavior where i sabotage myself, i could start to heal.
  17. wrong question. did you ever stop praying after enlightenment? would be the question to answer this notion of what full enlightenment probably is. if not every moment of your life became like a prayer, you, like me probably always ever only had glimpses.
  18. @Someone here why do you think, no one can answer this question for you but yourself? why is it uncomfortable for you? „there is no inherent meaning“ is a matter of search and discovery, absolute nothingness only always a starting point.
  19. @Irina Wolf you could ask a dentist for a grinding protection - when you have it try mindful awareness, you will probably notice the moment when you start to bite even with the teeth protection, maybe the change in experience will help. you could also try accupuncture for the yaw muscle tissue. maybe yaw massages you apply yourself for relaxation. the conditioning seems to be more somatic, so i suppose you need interventions on the somatic level + stress mangement and psychological healing like others in the thread suggest.
  20. @Vibroverse it probably depends on what dream you are awakening from, the realistic one ore the awake one.
  21. @Ethan Marnewick one question: what do you include in the experience of being a coffee table? maybe that’s answering your question.
  22. then what are you searching here? it‘s obviously not the same window you are looking at.
  23. its pretty serious if you confuse your living situation with two women with: „White women feminism“ and then call white women feminism „honestly bullshit for the most part“. if you have to put your shared housing struggles as a representative for general phenomena and clean your name through a rant about your co habitants online, instead of talking with them or even better: be creative and find better regulations (including communication about dishwashing)! you are obviously not aware that you in your own description started that fight first being unsociable while the other girl had a hard time, having an alcoholic mom at her space, and that you just recived the payback for being not receptive. you could be thankful for the attempt that they try to teach you empathy. it‘s preposterous trying to use this as an argument against „white women feminism“. i‘d say in general though: premature scapegoating is no bullshit for the most part, all honesty aside.
  24. @TK2021 you sound like someone who’s not to be trusted. all risks of the pill aside. it’s like you say it’s safer to not get vaccinated because of the sideffects because if you meet people you just hold your breath completely to be responsible, and you can actually play with that, because if you faint they can give you a cpr.
  25. @TK2021 which means we are at the same point again - women only need to take the pill if they are not a 100% sure the guy would never do in the spur of moment. you are talking about a huge minority of men who this is possible with in sense of trustability. for the majority you will probably find already issues during the first ten intercourses. there is premature ejaculation and also there can be micro ejaculations you don’t even notice. it also puts a stress factor on climax in general also for the woman, same goes for condoms. (not saying it’s impossible though, maybe the sex can even improve while training on stuff like that - i‘d just still use a condom on the fertility days)
