Today, all day, I had nightmares. I fell asleep on the sofa the other day and had nightmares all day then too... I don't think it's really shocking. There are some sleeping pills which can cause nightmares too. It seems sometimes, when your mind is less restricted (e.g. when sedated), bad dreams are more common. For example see fever dreams.

It never occurred to me before, but is a thought that makes you feel more considerate of others. It's easy to not care about an individual, but they seem more important when you realize that if they got hurt their loved ones would be crying etc. for them.
